ML isn't completely useless in martial art fights, at least he is the fastest in terms of his qinggong or his "Ten Breath Steps" where even highly skilled martial artist couldn't catch up to him. And combine with the FL who has strong wugong already, I think this is plenty action-packed. lol

I find it interesting that he's scheduled to star in at least 3 upcoming dramas with no confirmed female lead actress yet.
I guess its difficult to find one which he has high chemistry with.
LLD still the best match for our CXX.

Same here! I have so many partly CW dramas on my list that I'm trying to clear. My mind wanders from drama to drama, but the one I come back to at the end of the day is TSL.

I'm addicted to NiuDi CP and so in love with LLD and CXX as an individual as well. I'm looking forward to all their upcoming dramas before they come back and work with each other again.

Last week's episodes were a hot mess in scripts and editing, but today's 2 episodes show some promise.

If they will be starring in another xianxia, then it will take even more time for production crew to build the set, tailor the costumes and train to prepare compare to being in a modern drama.

Wow, well put! Suddenly it remind me of the story of NeZha, where he slice his flesh and and carve out his bones to save his family and repay his parents for his birth. Most of the time Nezha's father wasn't portrayed very nicely either in adaptations across films and dramas.

Yeah we been hearing about that ever since TSL ended. I'm afraid even if they do collaborate, we wont get to see their new drama until maybe 2 years later. Thats usually about how long it takes for a popular CP to work together again depending on their schedule. Because they are such hardworking and serious actors, I'm sure they will be wise about the next roles they pick together to give us something refreshing. Hopefully, NiuDi fans will remain strong and maybe we will get to see them again sooner.

I'm still watching TTEOTM, but the last few episodes have really disappointed me. Despite its huge budget in sets, CGIs, costumes and the grand promotions everywhere, the editing and plot are probably one of the worst I've seen in Xianxia land (actually just shy from Shining Just For You). Its a bit frustrating to watch because sometimes I feel like my intelligence/sanity is being called into question. I never expect a drama to be perfect or without its flaws but when they constantly shove the obvious that they want me to overlook, into my face - (sigh~) its tiring. At this point, I'm just sticking with it for the peace of knowing how it'll end and in all fairness, BL and LYX have great chemistry, same with their supports. But I don't even care about whether its HE or BE. Sorry for ranting.

I look forward to some of the other Xianxia dramas we will have this year like Back from the Brink and Fox Spirit Matchmaker. On and off, I'm taking my time watching The Bond (another masterpiece family drama). Meanwhile, I'm also quite interested in following with Desire Catcher and The Ingenious One that will be airing in a few days.

Wonder how we all will feel after the 6 months anniversary of TSL. For me I don't think I'll ever get over TSL. It has really set a really high standard for me.

The relationship between Landi's character and Wu Xin are mostly platonic in this drama tbh.

Not sure why theres a need for Sebrina Chen to play a male character with male dubbed voice. So out of place.

Greate quote! I can actually imagine CXX as TTJ because hes already proven how versatile he is as an actor and hes good at playing evil roles before. He would probably look somewhat like WenRen but more sickly which always can be achieve with the right makeup and hairdo. Then when hes in the devil form and as MingYe, I think he would rock with his physique.

The main issue for me would be how well his chemistry be with BaiLu. I don't think he would have that kind of sparks as he did with LLD nor would it be that innovative for him compare to playing as SD YQ.

Wasn't sure what to say since the 99 reviews before me probably mentioned everything there is to be said and im usually lazy with reviews but hey this drama is well-deserved and worth the time.

Its because of post like these that I cannot get over TSL.
Did CXX and LLD fans notice these type of suggestive mirroring behaviors when they were with their previous co-stars too? Is it really coincidence or their feelings for each other getting more obvious?
