It's been 2 weeks when I watched this, but here I am. I'm still finding their clips in youtube, watching them…
I began watching TSL on 2nd week from when it started airing and I am still here over a month after it ended. This is my longest withdrawal yet... Sigh~😮💨😭
Now for me personally, I watched many different dramas since but I find dramas with heartwarming themes, family and healthy relationships to be the most helpful, healing wise in my withdrawal journey. Those I watched so far the past month with such themes include Go Ahead, Meet Yourself, Road Home, Don't Disturb My Study(LLD's old drama), Nothing But You - they're all modern dramas because unfortunately its hard to find a costume xianxia or even wuxia dramas that are similar to TSL in term of beautiful and logical human interactions; free from draggy tropes.
Oh, I do recommend people try Love Like the Galaxy, its my favorite from last year. Romance is slow burn, more of a fictional historical comedy drama but they have a wonderful cast of (non-toxic) characters and story too.
Of course, there are also people who have to watch drama of completely different genres/country from TSL to be able to cope with their withdrawals which is totally fine. Try whatever you see work.
EP 32.I thought it was sweet when YT kissed MM on the cheek to appease her when she was feeling unappreciated.…
IKR. Same with MM asking to borrow YT from YQ for a day and YT pretending to forget so she can hold a surprise event for MM to celebrate their "Soulmate Day". All so bitter-sweet.
The night they go up the skies with the Jianmu fruit. I was 100% positive that they had sex . Therefore the commotion…
Really? I thought instead of tension like in AoL, their sweetness, and intimacy was building up like the eye exchanges, hand-holdings, the hugging, putting hands on each other waists and the kisses (although few were cut, we knew) in every scene they were together: they were almost inseparable.
As their intimacy rises, so was their horniness for each other (in Episode 28). I mean why else would YT wonder if he can "do it" without Jianmu fruit and YQ wonders whether he should stay the night at her place? Alas, YT almost couldn't wait anymore and had to be proactive about it. Lol Maybe I just have a dirty mind?
I think after they officially confessed their feelings, they continue to fall deeper in love with each other and their many natural gestures of affection leading up to the sex far surpass the cp in AoL tbh.
Ever since I started this drama, I most look forward to next week's episodes- tower scene. Like Goodbye, My Princess, its gonna be an epic. When FLs sacrifice themselves to give the evil men that they love the ultimate revenge? Ouch! Its gonna hurt like a *****. Anyway its gonna be good.
Although I think this will probably have a sad ending, I can't wait to see Landi and Lin Yi's performance because I remember crying loads a long time ago while watching the J-drama, Boku no Ita Jikan. The actor needs to portray a very high level of raw emotion as his disease further deteriorates and people around him have to realistically deal with his condition. I think this will be an inspiring and heartwarming drama that is worth watching; the kind I haven't seen in awhile, albeit leaving you in tears.

For those who had watched Ashes of Love, there was a similar scene there where the couple consummates that was a little more explicit where their bare shoulders and feets were showing plus the phoenix and budding flowers in the sky indicating they had sex fr.
As TSL is by the same screenwriter, I just automatically assume the same thing with the thunder along with the JianMu fruit and her embroidered undergarment (which was like the ancient bra) that YT prepared beforehand as well as everything after that like @_XingYue_ said further cement that they had really done the deed.
Idk if anyone notice but on the Youku app, right after Episode 40 of The Starry Love, they added in a link that automatically takes you to TTEOTM. Its so obvious theyre redirecting TSL fans over there. They're really pulling all stops 😂
I'm so sorry Guardians will probably never air. I would have loved to see him in that :3
Thank you for the explanation. I heard a little about the incident when XZ fans cause an entire fanfiction site to shut down which made a lot of people who were not fans of XZ angry and with ZZH situation as well a while back. Just didn't think China was banning BL dramas too, ironically The Untamed and Word of Honor were the reason globally many people became interested in Chinese culture. Sometimes China end up shooting themselves in the foot =/
I figured when they have those bromantic scenes in TSL between YQ and CF, there was hope that we will see them again soon in GoL...
And for all new viewers who didn’t like the ending. Pls remember that it seems the novel that is the inspiration…
I recommended TSL to my younger sister, she finished it and said "Wth The ending sucks! I hate that ending! I only want to watch drama with HE!" Although, I wasn't satisfied with the ending either, but I didn't have quite the reaction she had. lol its an open-ended HE in my book, but for her, it seems as if all her time was robbed which was understandable.
I told her the same thing about the novel's ending and I asked "Well do you prefer a super angsty drama (with old tropes) as long as the ending is happy?" and shes like "eh... not really I prefer the comedy more." Me: "There you go."
Js somtimes the content and process are much more important.
Crazy idea in the morning: can you imagine them doing a remake of the Kdrama Business Proposal? I just turned…
You know, the best thing is it's a modern drama, that means almost no kiss scenes will be omitted. I'm swooning just thinking about it. The fans would go wild!

OMG I'm imagining it and like LLD wearing sexy brand name clothes (and she would look absolutely stunning im sure), pretending to CXX that shes a bad, two-timing player and when CXX goes on marriage meeting with multiple women, all he can think about is no one is the right fit except for LLD. Omg they would be so perfect for the roles and it would be so hilarious. I would love it so much. urg you guys keep fueling my hopes and imagination!
Oh wow, been waiting for this drama forever and then suddenly notice it's airing with 9 episodes already! What a pleasant surprise. 2023 really is the year for Xianxia dramas. I'm glad they took the opportunity and didn't forget about this one.
Idk about Dilireba. Shes beautiful and is an okay actress imo but I always feel shes not that expressive. Other…
I think us international fans are a bit more easygoing and objective. If I say this on Chinese sites like weibo, baidu or w.e, no matter how nicely I word it, they'll be offended; hardcore fans of these stars will be grilling me left and right. lol But I think most people are smart enough to tell non-hater comments from other hater comments.
Oh I also get that vibe from Victoria Song and Cheng Xiao. hm these two and WYB are exceptional dancers, so maybe they just shine best on stage or they're just more passion-focus on their dancing than their acting.

Take your time and enjoy it
Its as though some of these other mythical gods/goddesses could've have their own story. They look so good that too bad their screentime was so short
