I finally remember one other drama that I watch a long time ago that is very very similar to GMP. Its the K-drama, Ja Myung Go. I just added it to recommendations if anyone is interested in more romance tragedy.

I for one, watch both American and Asian shows. I watch all you mentioned plus Walking Dead, Dexter, Hannibal, Criminal Minds, The Boys, just to name a few others popular with crazy dark themes

TTEOTM kinda remind me of The Vampire Diaries. For those who don't know, the logic in that show is the universe just create multiple versions of the ML and FL or their doppelganger selves throughout time that are always drawn to each other because the original pair ended in tragedy created an unnatural balance between life and death.

Tell me about it, I just finished watching episode 14 of TTEOTMoon that aired today, and trying not to spoil anything but it has that exact trope. Most things are amazing about that drama; the costumes, the CGI, special effects, story is gripping at the very least and etc. No doubt it's also an epic Xianxia but I can already tell misunderstandings and jealous bitch between MC is gonna be the main trope that will be overused to create angst and drive the story. Its so dumb

CXX, the ML uses his real voice. I like his natural, deep voice, given its also his first time dubbing using his own voice in a drama. I'm not sure why some people don't like it hm...

I'm shipping LLD and CXX so hard right now both in dramas and in real life. They are so comfortable with each other at the same time so hot, funny, witty with so much chemistry. If one day they announce they're dating and then get married, I'll pop champagne and celebrate.

Right now, I am happy to hear news that they will collaborate again in a new drama in the future.

Yup~ Non-readers interpreted what they see on-screen only according to the director's vision, the way the screenwriter and editors want the story to be told in drama form. The little spoilers plus tidbits people tell me here and there that are different from the novel only add to the enjoyment and my appreciation of this drama and book fans

I get the confusion other people have. What I understand when watching the drama is TTJ and YXW, along with XL and YBC, enter the dragon's dream which SEEMS to be all of their past lives, otherwise why would these people look exactly like them? Simply replacing SanJiu, MingYe and them with different actors/actresses would've shown they were unrelated but since they didn't, confusions are bound to happen for watchers who never read the novel.

lol I was skeptical too when he did his whole speech. I'm like besides Ye Xi Wu, when did he start developing feelings for all beings and common people? Is he faking or starting a cult?

Oh, so in the novel, Xiao Lin (in the Dream) isn't really San Jiu's bio brother? Wow, I wonder for the drama version, if they gonna make Xiao Lin hold feelings for Bing Chang and maybe BC will make use of that feelings to lead the clan to their demise.
