Rating went From 8.3 to 8.2 the day 26 & 27th episode aired 5 days back & stayed as 8.2 for 4 days...yesterday after finale it became 8.1...now today It's 8.0....i think it'll go even lower

This drama's Screenwriter Miao wen Jing is part of the writers of LIP & SAB, but many people don’t know She's actually a reputed novelist and she is the original creator of the novels from where ''The demon hunter's romance''(2025) and "bloody romance"(2018) were adapted from. (she wasn’t part of the scriptwriting for the drama adaptations of her novels though) . she writes her novels with the pen name Ban Ming Ban Mei
I had to do my research on FSMM installments' screenwriters bcz i'd surely avoid them in the future.RMP has 3 screenwriters while LIP & SAB have four screenwriters RMP - Wei Zai, Jian An, Han pei zhen LIP & SAB- Wei Zai, Jian An, Ding Ya, Miao Wen Jing ( All 4 are part of stellar media production house and collaborated together in either writing or script-directing some previous dramas)
I've personally read some parts of some of Miao wen jing's novels, although due to their long lengths I've never finished any, her novels are angsty but the writing is surely good. i highly suspect she wrote the initial 13 episodes of Sword and Beloved which were very very amazing and good. I can't be sure but i would give this drama a try.

i loved the fact that Ha Gyeong could always tell them apart... when It's really too hard to tell who is who among the twins in the flashbacks. it shows how strong her bond was with them,one as a childhood friend to her and another as her first love.

I wanna watch it since i’m looking for a light romcom drama, but the reviews are a little bit disappointing…
if you skip all the business talks, It's pretty much an enjoyable romcom, the main couple's chemistry is very good from start to finish, two other side couples have less screentime than main couple but very much watchable..Family & friendship dynamics were quite fun with good comedies and thoroughly enjoyable... if you're looking for a light romcom,It's worth giving a watch
Zhou Dong yu's portrayal of shanggu is something i find rarely in cdrama female leads...i know She's a reputed film actress and multiple awards winner in film industry so she might not return on small screen any soon (not to mention the bullyings of cnetz she had to face during ALP airing time).. but really, we often see immortals and gods in xianxias but she as a true god shanggu will always be on my top 10 list..Not any traffic actress nor anyone relying on her looks,just pure acting talent and dedication...These days When watching recent cdramas,you often actually have to shut off your brain in the 'acting' part and rely a lot of on visual pleasure, So, as someone who actually craves to watch good acting in addition to a strong plot & storytelling, this drama was a feast for me.
i just saw I rated it 8.5 back then, now when Rewatching I've rated it 9.0 (minus 1 bcz of two reasons, 1. Lazy writing of starting episodes which can bore you to a level to even consider dropping the drama even before 10 episodes (but that ultimately developes the story so you just have to patiently watch and observe the details and once the story gets close to 2nd arc which is past 10th episode, there's no going back!!) 2. wu huan's lot of screentime in the Middle episodes which could be given to other likable supporting characters
it deserves higher ratings and a lot of appreciation, which international fans gave to this drama. i'd never stop laughing at It's douban score. if it was not a chinese drama,it'd grab all the recognitions and Awards internationally. but then,only bcz It's a Chinese drama that this drama was made so much perfectly and when you talk about the genre xianxia, you can't rule out Ancient Love Poetry!
Upon Rewatch, i have actually started to sympathise with Bai Jue character and understood why he did what he did & the decisions he made (of those i was very much angry at him on my initial watch)...I'm not watching it on chronological order, just favourite scenes of all the episodes and i realized my favourite scenes are too many,not to mention favourite characters are even much more...We Viewers got hurt and heartbroken in the last scene of Qingmu when Baijue overtook him, but no one actually understood & felt Qingmu's pain better than Baijue but he still had to pretend he's heartless and cold towards them...when he told Gujun "you could've stopped it,why did you just sit back & watch the newlyweds get separated for decades? " ahh how much guilt & regret he must have felt...
After seeing how perfectly she adapted the stories of Love in the clouds and yummy yummy yummy, i love this screenwriter... I'll surely look forward to her next projects.
