I loved the main couple. The rest of the show was sometimes really frustrating. I don't think I even need the subs. The business aspects were pretty boring, and frankly irresponsible. They were swapping CEOs like they were waiters.

Meanwhile, I agree the sisters didn't get the closer they needed. I really wished Fei Er had apologised to her sister, or at least shown that she appreciated her little sister.

I know the drama is dated. I guess we can thank Covid that the Chinese government is finally releasing some of them.

Sometimes this drama is too frustrating to watch. Everyone is chasing a person would doesn't like/love them back. Meanwhile the main couple like one another but have serious problems.

Also ex-girlfriends in this drama are really pathetic. They have no self respect and are crazy.

Breakups are hard so I understand why they are suffering so, but not everyone who gets dumped has to be so insufferable. I need some likeable characters. This show is getting to be a real downer.

I'm not caught up yet. But from the Chinese version, I think she at first only saw him as a friend and was crushing on the doctor. Afterwards I think she grew to appreciate him when he coloured his hair and refocused the attention on himself when she was in trouble. I'm not sure her affection is from guilt. He even tried to hide the extent of his sickness from her.

But I agree you can't force love on someone, especially with guilt.

Is anyone tired of the let's hide our relationship trop? What's going on in dramas society that girls always get attacked for have a good looking boyfriend?

She seems to be the kind of person who becomes more cynical and ruthless, every time she encounters a problem. You see this right at ep. 1. when Xiao Di got scammed by those men to do a photoshoot

I noticed her ex-boyfriend seems to still really care about her. As do her mom and sister. These are all people who loved her before she changed her face.

The good news is well everything has been exposed now.

The wedding was a farce anyways. Yin Shu only proposed after learning that she had lost the baby. It must have been a bitter experience to know that the man she wants (I don't really know if she loves him or his status) wanted her sister and only married her out of pity.

I was glad to finally see her speaking up for her mom when Grace went on the attack. Her mom is a saint. Grace in the scene was cruel. It clearly wasn't the mom's fault for all that Xiao Di did. Grace seems to be a character who gets too caught up in her anger to deal with people fairly. She's always crying later in regret.

I don't know how we can see any growth in her character. She seems to be very insecure and mean. Maybe now that everyone knows about her, she can start fresh? Or maybe when her sister is really in crisis (Lian Sheng health crisis) she will finally get over herself and be a big sister.

I do think the way he goes about helping her is miss leading. I get angry at him too, and as a viewer I know he's helping. But he was really mean to her. Especially in high school. She doesn't know he was actually trying to help her.

I'm gonna miss this comment section. It's so lively. Only 2 more episodes :(

I thought that was the saddest wedding. The bride looked miserable even though it was all that she plotted for. And the groom was uncomfortable.

To be honest I don’t even know why she doesn’t just tell the truth. Denying your own mother is one the worst things you can do as a child. Nevermind your sister as well.

If you are enjoying don't let my bitter heart sway you...I have a low tolerance. Also fast forward and mute are great options.

The real issue is most of the characters have trust issues. The SML and SFL are not good at taking hints. Grace is well complicated, but she's pretty reasonable. Sometimes I feel really sorry for her.

Honestly I still enjoy the show, I just think it can be frustrating to watch sometimes.

Why is no one mad that the ML doesn't know how to get rid of his seemingly bipolar ex-girlfriend?

I really loved episode 13.

I'm glad her family, each in their own funny way tried to help her.
I'm also glad she found some courage, and anger against the bullies.

To be honest the show could end here and I would be happy.

But I hope the next 3 episodes cover
- Soo Jin problems
- Soo Ah issues, why is she so upset? I want her to talk to JK. I guess she first became friends with her because she was so pretty. But there must be more to their friendship. And even if she is upset about JK lying, can't she understand why?

I think it's been put on hold due to the writers plagiarism scandal.

I wish we didn't we have to wait till the end for satisfaction. How long is it going to take for the losers to get over their jealously and rejection?

Also when will FL stand up against the manipulators? We know the ML is playing a long game, but I want FL to deal with her sister.

I have mixed feelings about Grace. I mean people keep cheating on her. At least that's how she woulds see it. But she is very bias against Xiao Ting, without ever bothering to get to know her.

I don't like the ML in this story (not the actor). I've already watched the previous version of this drama and he was annoying there too. He clearly has a problem of having too much and not appreciating it. "Oh no I can't tell when people sincerely like me, I'm too rich, too popular, too smart." I roll my eyes.

I watch this drama because I sympathise with the FL. Also I appreciate that she wasn't the dumbest girl is high school (a trop that can be really annoying) , but actually someone who is smart. This FL is very restrained. I feel bad for her.

Cus honestly her crush, is...ugh.

I am going to be so happy when the ML buys the company (as he has been planing) and they are all bowing and kissing his ass

This show gets all my rage going. All I can't say is I don't even care if the company burns down to the ground. The people all fighting for it are idiots.

Meanwhile, all the side characters are winning...it's just so frustrating.

She was in charge of the customs. It's not really about trust. She was the only source. Besides all of her roommates are terrible. Even the teachers are mean. So far there is no one she can trust. Even the ML is a dick sometimes. (I know his warming up to her and is getting nicer)

I like the FL, but I also see her as a victim. The writers seem hell bent on making her life miserable. I was getting so peeved at everyone. That's why FL best friend is so cool, going to the school and splashing water on that girl.

I'm not a pushover, but if I was at that college I would have quit school. The place is toxic. Obviously this is a drama. So they are doing a good job at drawing us in.
