Is this drama not out yet?

My theory since two episodes ago was that GZY's mom is Anonymous or at least part of Wufeng and she taught Madam Wuji the technique (maybe in order to protect her son and maybe she died be ause if the flies ..who knows) but Im also 100% sure Lady Lan was connected to Wufeng.
That man she wanted to see could be ger mentor in Wufeng but she died not fulfilling her mission for some reason (possibly because of the birth of her son - if her mission was related to her killing the next Sword Wielder she would have to take the life of her own child and she wouldnt do that so she died of the flies after giving up, just my thoughts but ...)- never to have freedom again.

Yeah, it takes forever for her to finish her lines sometimes(and their dialogues continue to be somewhat the same)
For FL too - soo slow. I guess thats supposed to give off the importance of what they're saying, to feel more mysterious and serious. It misses charisma and life though.

Yes, her way of delivering lines is almost comical and too theatrical and over the top, as if the actress tries too hard. I dont really perceive her as the best actress, as many other are praising her, dont see it in the way she acts at all

I also am not a fan of the FL's acting but up until now her character is not using any big emotional expression. I am not particularly wowed by any actor here - theyre good and do well but the strength of the drama is the cinematography and the script(most of the time). They have good director so that makes it very enjoyable to watch

I really need more plot and focus, more mystery and fantasy, more of what the drama promised in first episodes. Been very different for a while, ep 5 and 6 feel like fillers 😞 this SML character needs to go, he has no presence and is so annoying. No more of the same drama, keep the story moving please

I dont think hes healed. That red hand will return again , no way it just disappears because of some spell. And i think its connected to his curse that is real and still is with him, Im sure

Yes and I dont think shes the real witch ancestor. There is some other connection between the leads(thay is not the book) and I think its something to do with the hand and the "murder".

In real life - always believe what men tell you, show you and dont take any disrespect. But only in dramas we tend to assume "wHaT hE aCtUaLlY mEaNt...by being totally rude and arrogant... because he has ReAsOnS"

Sorry but just seeing this tendency sometimes to justify some behaviours...people are more straightforward than that. He's far from a gentleman but in last episode at least it was better than the previous mess

I honestly dont think the spells work at all and there is no Love spell lol. Maybe she isnt the person with the power to make them true, something is missing from the equation.

That creepy guy is not under any spell, I think he just a stalker and ML is not under a spell, hes just falling in love and the whole book is a massive placebo effect

Unfortunately, Im not a fan of the more naive, too good and nice characters like GZY..I dont think I will ever really like him, not right now. His brothers are also childish, both of them

In pretty sure the Anonymous is GZY's parent - either his biological mother or father. And from them lady Wuji knows those moves
When YWS said "anonymous" e Lady WuJi made a surprised expressions, as if remembering someone from the past or so eone she knows but its not her - if it was her, she wouldnt make a surprised expression, she would not reveal herself or she would kill her on the spot. So its someone she knows from long ago, I think it's GZY's mother but its.possible its his father,too.

He said it himself that he has a girlfriend and shes a goddess - you dont say that you are in a relationship if you are not. They had family dinner, too. Doesnt matter if she "forced" herself back, if he really wants to he wouldnt accept it and then go on a date with her and then say nothing when their families speak about engagement..., she didnt point a gun to his head. His heart is somewhere else but it's actions that are true
But it doesnt matter, fact is, he is back in a relationship with his ex
And the spell is the spell, but it doesnt excuse bad and controlling behaviour, he was overly rude and not because of the spell - he revealed that he doesnt really respect FL

I dont like how they excuse this arrogant narcissistic behaviour because of the spell. He was being very rude to her and showed massive disrespect with some words and actions and she just takes them as a normal thing? He practically is trying to control her, bullies her and then she does nothing and continues this without cutting things , setting some much needed boundaries and properly.defendong herself

Not to mention, he has a girlfriend and they find every excuse to be together alone, including going on a lunch date, as if that means nothing between two adults - theyre not even friends or anything else.They both are at fault. Just very toxic and irresponsible behaviour, especially from his side - he is definitely two timing and she is stupid to accept his advances and let herself be strung along, knowing well that its not appropriate. No excuses here

In this episode I didnt find any romance and didnt like how they romanticised some egotistic decisions and actions
P.S. Yes, the actor is very handsome. Too bad the character at this point is a jerk and hers is not that much better, everyone is responsible for what they choose to do

After XY's first kiss with TSJ, she then didnt kiss or touch XL or give him to drink blood from her neck be ause of censorship and you cant prove me wrong be ause we all know Chinese dramas - FL chooses one man and even the force of nature will stop er from touching a other even in a non-romantic way or after break up(he's also her first and so is she to him and so on concepts in the dramaworld )
And with that decision, all the romantic and intmate tension from this show was inadvertently gone, never to return. In my eyes TSJ have big sister-lil bro chemistry 😭 or like childhood romance, ir like...first love at first class of high school type of thing.
Ok, hear me out - she kisses TSJ and then one night something happens and she has child from XL and TSJ is like "its ok, I have a fake child too, its a long story" and shes like "oops, well, mine is real" and drama ensues and we have 3 seasons 🤣🤣 I just want the chaos and yall are speaking of"true to the book" who cares, sell the show to Telemundo and we shall take revenge for XL's fate

Im laughing so much, ep 4 was just amazing! Shin Yu is too good with this spell thing, every word that comes out of his mouth is gold 🤣 Chemistry is slowly building up, I cant wait for next episodes

The dialogs between the girls repeatedly explain what's going on from their third person perspective, they tell what they're planning to do, what they already did,why, they even say their thoughts out loud . It ls clear one of the main reasons for them is the writer wants us to know what's exactly happening without showing - yes, thats a purpose but they are all nthe .main characters and its not their job to do this for the audience, they need to be a real part of the story and have development in it. In last episode FL didnt have other screen time except in these conversations.

Yes, in historic Chinese drqmas there is always the danger of too much dialogue and explaining, as if to make sure everyone from the audience has understood what happened or what the character is going to do(not to.mention the flashbacks). After allz this is an art form and the director is not in anyway obligated to make it comprehensive for everyone - its his individual work that while it could be available to everyone, is not for everyone and its time they start standing behind their creative decisions, this is not a school class.

The dialogue between the two female spies is just tiring - are they characters in this drama or are they the storytellers that break the forth wall in kids' movies? It takes you out of the story. What should be in their mind and shown through actions to make it interesting and make us guess is just laid out on a spreadsheet as if the audience is that slow

In this episode it was obvious, yes. Past events are mentioned often, characters explain themselves and introduce new plot points but not.much focus currently. They had a great start that set the scene for something epic, hope the pace will pick up and time would be given to the important parts
