i feel like the story was unnecessarily dragged and that there were too many filler scenes, especially considering this was a 10 eps drama with very short runtime. i ended up fast forwarding eps 7-9, but obviously watched ep 10 in normal speed. i loved it very much, the chemistry between the leads was just as good as in s1 and the fluff filled my heart, but one ep of fluff will not make up for the dragged story that the rest of the eps were. i feel like it was unnecessarily angsty as well, although i definitely understand where jiwoo's feelings came from.
i have some complaints about it and i prefer s1 a thousand times more, but i liked how they resolved their issues by healing themselves on their own first and facing their own fears and complexes. i really liked the line that said "there is no perfect person or and there is no perfect form of love, it's just a matter of understanding and adapting to each other through love. it's about learning to speak one's mind rather than putting one's pride ahead." i've always felt like this is the most accurate definition of love and the way they portrayed it was very beautiful.
still, i don't think i can give it more than 8.0 because the story felt too dragged a lot.
He's a drug dealer who is behing a lot of big crimes in the story... but it seems like he's protecting Changho.…
yeah, i actually just finished ep 6 so it might not be him... well, if it's not a character that is already introduced then the reveal would feel anticlimactic tbh. depending on the next eps i will either continue to suspect him or discard my suspicions on jerry and target miho.
I agree cus like jerry kept on praising big mouse and his name is literally jerry (ik stupid reason)
no that's not a stupid reason!! it's literally relevant. also the fact that he said right away that his tattoo is because he admires big mouse, but it may be a way to protect his cover immediately

but beyond drug dealing and scamming, did he like kill people and stuff? i forgot lol i guess this is my attempt to redeem him when we find out who he is
does anyone else have the feeling that shin soonrok will be played by kim mingue... that shot of soonrok and yumi shaking hands kinda gave me that feeling. i know there's no reason cuz we saw nothing of him but i feel like it's him lmao
I honestly love this drama so much, it's by far one of the best dramas released this year. It's hard to believe that we're 16 eps down because the flow of the show hasn't died down one bit and we're still excited for every ep and tuning in every week. It's gonna be hard to wait 2 weeks for eps 17-18 after such a cliffhanger.
Hi shifters, What do you think about the female lead in season 2? Whats your conclusions/opinions? Do you think…
I've also been thinking about it, and I think it would be weird for Naksu to get back in her body considering that it was burnt in front of everyone's eyes, unless some sort of sorcery was performed at the time and we'll have some plot twist that her body was actually not burnt, which I would love to see because GJY played an amazing role as Naksu. Although once again, it would be so cool to see JSM in Naksu's attire and being the powerful assassin/mage that Naksu is. Whoever plays it I will be happy because both actresses are amazing.
With how it is going so far I believe that MD is in her original body and that her soul shifted when she was young.
What do you mean by Mudeok's original body? Mudeok's soul is Jin Boyoung, or that's what I've understood. Not sure where the soul is, but I've always thought that the body that Naksu is occupying is Jin Boyoung, who is Mudeok as well, whether she was cosplaying as Mudeok knowingly, or if she lost her memories and had to live as Mudeok (which I don't really think so, but I also don't see why Boyoung would choose to live as a blind commoner).
I asked myself the same thing while watching because I wanted to know the age gap between Su Jae and Gong Chan.…
It said May 15, 1985. So she was 37 (38 Korean age) and Chan was supposed to be 28, since it's also said in the drama that he was arrested when he was 18 in 2012.
is there anyone else other than me who enjoyed this drama at all? i binge watched the first 6 eps cuz i started it late and loved it, then got busy by ep 10 and had to binge watch once again all the remaining 6 eps. i never felt like the drama dropped quality or that it made no sense. sure, there are some things that should've been explored better in order to give a better background to certain characters, but i still think the drama was pretty interesting. the last ep was surely over the top and penthouse-like dramatic stuff, but imo it was still pretty good. i enjoyed this drama a lot and never felt like it was just a fashion show or so many things people are describing
i'm starting to think i'm easily satisfied with anything because lately all the dramas i've loved have been highly criticized negatively, lol
tho kang yoonkyum 🤮 that ending served him and the others right.
once again realizing that every time i like a drama and come to the comment section i wonder if we're watching the same drama because people always end up hating the dramas i love lmao i never felt this drama had a problem with the pacing and i don't think there's excessive crying considering how traumatic the root of the plot is. i do feel like the killer reveal was anticlimactic, but it's nothing that would affect my opinion of the drama. this is one of my favorite airing dramas, probably one of my fav this year as well, so it's such a shame that people seem to be hating it now.
Ok your comment convinced me to give this drama another chance. I was stuck at ep 5 because I was so tired seeing…
when does it start kicking off? i started it when it began airing but got stuck on ep 4 and haven't been able to keep going, it's not doing it for me and atp idek if i'm interested to know what happens to yohan. should i wait a bit more?
I think most people were confused at first but now we understand what the writer is/was going for. This drama…
when do you think the viewers start understanding it? i started it since the beginning and watched the first 2 eps with difficulty, ep 3 with many stops and haven't been able to move past ep 4. it doesn't help that there are many other airing dramas that catch my attention more than this one :/ i wanted to watch it bc of haneul but it's not really doing it for me :/
i came only for jaehyun (and was absolutely worth it) and ended up loving everything (except choi sora). i had seen all the leads in previous roles before but their roles here were my favorite, they honestly did such a great job. and jaehyun, OH JAEHYUN, he's such a good actor considering this is his first role and he did it THIS good. had to pull all my hair out watching it bc the feels were TOO INTENSE. it's such a shame that this drama couldn't be properly released and promoted because of one person. jaehyun and all the leads worked so hard for it, it's honestly so sad. but anyway, this show was really cute and worth it! not saying it because of jaehyun at all, like he alone is totally worth watching it, but the entire plot is actually pretty enjoyable and all the leads are likeable. it's such a light and cute watch, makes me want to go back go uni lol.
