I was like whatever with the kdrama ending, but then I read how the webtoon ends and now I'm VERY pissed off. Wow, we were so terribly robbed and there was NO reason for that at all. Why ruin a perfectly fine story like this? It should be a crime.
REBORN RICH WEBTOON ENDING AND HOW IT DIFFERS FROM THE DRAMAThe ending of the webtoon and novel is fairly different…
What- that's the real ending????????????????? How did the kdrama writers think of doing this mess of an ending and WHY did the webtoon writer allow this wtf this is such a turn off.
My unpopular opinion is that I really like this show even after ep 10. I agree they did kinda ruin the story because up until ep 9, this drama was just a feel-good show with soft characters and stories. I know the alleged murder plot was always there related to Daebum's family history, but it was always stated it was his father who did it and no doubts were ever raised. Still, I thought we had time to see how the story panned out with this new plot they added, but I just realized this show only has 12 eps, and next week is the end? Why are they introducing a new plot in the last eps? Why is the romance so slow? Why hasn't Daebum overcome his trauma yet, when we are only 2 eps away from the ending? I don't understand where this is going and it's very sad to see this beautiful story possibly be ruined :/
I don't understand your concern at all tbh. The part 1 was basically building characters and had fillers. The…
When I said that the story isn't only about the main leads it doesn't mean that they aren't the center of the plot, it means there are other subplots beyond that. Why give them screentime and develop stories if they're not going to resolve them (the subplots) properly? Not saying they haven't, I'm just saying they need to stop with the filler scenes (and by this I've never meant filler scenes between the leads because I don't believe any scene we've gotten from them together or separate are filler - in fact, there aren't enough scenes between them, like I actually mentioned in another comment. Instead I mean, for example, all the scenes between Park Jin and Kim Doju, the majority of which don't add anything to the plot).
I don't get why you fixated on the focus on the main leads when I never complained about them. Saying the story isn't only about the main leads doesn't mean I'm complaining about their scenes, they're literally the reason why I'm watching this show, but again, it doesn't mean the other developed subplots that take quite a lot of screentime shouldn't be properly developed instead of having them dragged out. My point has always been that the story should focus on the main leads more, but since they're entangling the subplots like that might as well actually resolve them instead of giving us unimportant scenes.
You say it's too much waste of your time but here you came to leave a whole rant about your own projections on my comment, which I think is quite funny. You better use that time to invest a bit on a reading comprehension course because you're getting upset about things I never even implied.
I agree with the fact that there are too many fillers, same as S1. But I'm happy with the timing the leads are…
The only thing I'm satisfied about in the season is the main leads indeed, but the drama goes beyond that with so many subplots so it makes me worry that we will have rushed endings:/
And I think you're right, that seems to be a good reason to have the gambling den. Thanks for pointing it out!

I wrote a long post with multiple concerns and you seemed to focus only on the main romance, which I didn't even mention. This drama isn't only about the main leads and it has many subplots and greater plots as well that go beyond the main leads getting together. If you can't see beyond that it's fine, but you're not allowed to say my complaints are non-complaints when you can't even provide answers to my questions.
I honestly don't know how to feel about this season. They don't need to build characters anymore because we know everyone already, yet they spend time making confusing connections between characters as if this was a stand-alone drama and not the second part of another show with 20 eps already. I feel like the writers forgot this drama will only have 10 eps and are dragging the story too much. I don't even know where this season is going. Like in season 1 we had a north at least, which was Mudeok recovering her powers as Naksu - which we never even saw - so the purpose of this season should be the same one, as it wasn't fulfilled in S1. We can argue that this is indeed the purpose of this season as well since the entire story is based around Naksu, but we're almost in the middle of the season and almost nothing has happened.
We get many characters whose confusing actions are pretty difficult for the viewer to decipher the real intention of (in a way that's actually annoying and not very interesting). We get way too many filler scenes between Kim Doju and Park Jin, even more scenes than those of the leads together. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate them, but I also don't see the reason why we need so many scenes of them longing for each other.
We get Jinmu being annoying again with his plot that no one ever understands other than him just being evil for the sake of being evil. Now we also have the Queen with her wicked plot that is never fully explained and we're only given hints of what they want to do. We also have Soyi with her confusing actions; I thought she had redeemed herself towards the end of S1 and through the interactions between the Songrim people, but all that went straight to the trash can and she's doing evil deeds as well just for Jinmu - and why does he need to have a gambling den?
I'm not mentioning everything I have a complaint about of this season because there are just too many things, I just wish we focused on the Naksu/Buyeon plot more than all these people that at the end of the day just take up screentime from the actual plot and will make us end up with a rushed ending as it seems to be coming.
How many people has Naksu been? Born Cho Yeong, became Naksu the assassin, switched bodies with Mudeok who turned out to be Jin Buyeon, and now she's been gaslit into thinking that's who she really is. The identity crisis this poor woman will have when she recovers her memories is concerning /s.
Also, has anyone noticed that the only people who knew Mudeok's body was Jin Buyeon's are Mother Jin, Master Lee and Soyi? When will this information ever become of everyone's knowledge?
I feel like they complicated this story too much and will not untangle all the complicated knots they've made and many strings will end up loose at the end of the show. I really hope it doesn't happen because I really loved S1 and I'm too invested in the story now, but I really hope this drama picks up the pace in the next eps so that it matches the previous season's level.
Sorry for my long rant, I'm just a bit frustrated with many things lol. Also I might have missed some explanations since I find myself dozing out a bit through certain scenes, so if you have some answers for my questions/complaints, feel free to let me know!
there are some very underwhelming parts and plot holes/loose strings, but overall I enjoyed it a lot and seo jihoon's performance made everything for me.
The fact that they made her to be Buyeon/Jin Priestess, which could repeat the history of love story between the…
Same here, I did not see that twist coming, but I still don't know how I feel about it. I don't like the whole story that Naksu's energy turned Mudeok's face into her own, lol. Also, it doesn't make sense for me that Mother Jin (forgot her name) would choose the BODY of Jin Buyeon over her soul. Like, I understand it's because the body has the energy and whatever, but we've seen that souls also hold energy so I don't really get the reasoning there.
