I am not so sure about that, what I suspect is those in China who subscribe to Youku China only. This is what other content providers like iQiyi or Tencent do, only for China's subscribers. Hopefully someone else can answer that question for you.

lol, I tried to get my hubby to read it, but he says it's really a prescription, though he doesn't understand because it contains drug/medicine names and I think payment amount for the prescription. As Jhen2020 put it rightly, our focus as viewers should be on the fact that she purposely revealed Princess Chu Jiu Ling's handwriting to cause him some confusion and to divert his attention from tearing her signage down, kinda to difuse the tensed situation earlier.

I saw him in The Blooms, Yun Xi and Young Blood, very versatile acting - and if not mistaken, this is his actual voice we are hearing, it's not overdubbed. So glad for that. I hope to watch him as real ML soon (there are 2 upcoming ones, though heaven knows when we will get to see them.)

Yes, last week they didn't - this VIP thingie is meant to capitalise on China folks who are willing to pay extra to watch episodes in advance (but for us, if you know where to watch you can find it). I just watched the preview for E23 & 24. So in episode 23, the eldest sister asks Jun Zhen Zhen (I name them as such to distinguish the roles played) to try on a blue garment that belonged to Princess Jiu Ling and Zhen Zhen (aka Jiu Ling in disguise) says "Is she trying to test me or is this just a coincidence?". Then we see Zhen Zhen wearing the dress in front of the siblings (eldest princess and young prince) and the young prince hugs Zhen Zhen, saying, "I miss you, second sister." (we see tears in Zhen Zhen's eyes as she is hugged.) Then we see her leaving the room and the obsessed hubby sees her walking away, shocked but delighted, "It's her." Then we hear the eldest princess and obsessed hubby (Lu Yun Qi) talking, commenting how much Zhen Zhen looks like Jiu Ling. Of course, the eldest princess tries to pour cold water on the situation by saying, "Even if she looks so much like her, it's not her. And then asking him if he cannot let her go." To which he replies, "No, I won't let her go." After that we see him ordering his lackey to carry out his orders, which is to send bridal gifts as a proposal to her place, he wants to marry her. And we see Zhu Zan's younger brother informing Zhu Zan that creepy/obsessed hubby intends to marry Zhen Zhen, he has already sent the marriage (proposal) gifts to her.

In episode 24, we see Zhen Zhen, Fang family's eldest daughter and Zhen Zhen's maid seated at the round table in the courtyard. Zhen Zhen's maid remarks (in an upbeat tone): one is an upcoming imperial scholar (the one who gets the top score), one is a commander, one is an accomplished public official (of royal blood), fighting on the streets over you - because of this I wonder how many girls in the city are admiring you? At this point, we see Zhu Zhan and obsessed hubby fighting in the streets and Master Ning stepping up to say "Lady Jun is betrothed to me." And the surprised look on the obsessed hubby's face is priceless! Then Zhu Zan steps into Zhen Zhen's room, drunk, asking her repeatedly "How many husbands do you have?" She's surprised with the question and even more surprised as he takes off his belt and outerwear and falls onto her bed. Of course, she tells him to put on his clothes. We get to see the next scene where Zhu Zan's other brothers are commenting on his drinking skills/prowess - it's now at an extraordinary level, where he falls asleep in someone else's room (referring to Zhen Zhen's). In the final scene, we see Zhen Zhen looking at Zhu Zan as he awakens from slumber. "You can't possibly be asking me to take responsibility for you, right?" As she says it, she moves closer to his face as if to offer him a kiss, AND the clip ends there. (drat, Youku, you scoundrel, how can you end on that note? LMAO)

Completely agree. The siblings had/have a very loving relationship, nothing of the rivalry/distrust sort. And the two elder ones dote on the youngest brother, he was probably the sort that after years of trying to have an heir, the parents finally succeeded, thus the large age-gap between the 2nd (Jiu Ling) and 3rd child (the Prince). And there's no way she is in love with that obsessed husband, she just doesn't think it's a good idea for the sister to come back now, this isn't paradise.

Oh yes, Grandma and even the 2nd sister from Fang family are cool. Even the Young Master is turning out to be smart and quite well-accomplished.

yay, I finally know another person who actually likes Master Ning! hip-hip hurray. LOL, I 've watched him in other dramas, and tbh, started watching this for him. That was before I found out how good PXR's acting is. So glad, I have company now.

So far, married to one under her own face and married to the other but divorced with the face of Jun Zhen Zhen. I doubt she will have anything official to do with Master Ning. And whether we get to see her marrying the ML or not is left to be seen, even if they do have OTP moments.

Well, one good thing to say about him is that he hasn't touched the elder sister, after marrying her. So, that part was really to keep her safe. But yeah, other parts of his behaviour are disturbing, for sure.

I don't think he really has. He suspects she isn't who she says she is, the clues are pointing to her being the princess but what he can't figure out is the face. Someone who used to work in her father's household confirmed that the face belongs to Jun Zhen Zhen. I think if that were not the case, he would have more or less confirmed she is the princess way back.

I love Wang You Shuo as well, the actor playing Childe Ning. (shaking hands with @roro4)

same here. more convinced than ever. Just that the conversation he had with Yu Er on his deathbed was alone with her. So I suspect that he wasn't 100% sure he would get out alive as well.

I completely agree with your statement @Sekichu. I won't be surprised that the uncle and the divine healer both had a hand in faking Qi Yan's death. Qi Yan does not know medicine and there's no way he could have faked his death without their help/knowledge. And the fact that Qi Yan said he can hardly believe it but it's finally possible, he's able to lead a life with Yu Er alone, is a telling clue. (this was just before their outing to the 'marketplace' for lack of a better word.) With his fears about Prince Guang's intentions allayed, he can pass the throne to the uncle and leave his identity as the Emperor.
And yes, you are right, the Uncle made a promise to Yan Zhi, that for Yu Er to be happy, Qi Yan has to be alive. So, all these are the clues we need to read into.

I think that is true, from both the personal perspective and the agenda he had for the country. So it was a dream come true on many counts.

I had that same idea. And as @Clandestine mentioned, he might have just another 5 years more to go, so he had to quickly wrap things up in the palace. And I would add, I am sure the Uncle knew, given how smart and perceptive he is. But he knows with whom his nephew's heart lies. So he will have to acquiese to his wishes. I just wish they had given a bit more hint or clues but then again I'll have to wait for the subs to understand the flashback conversation between the divine healer and Qi Yan. With my limited Chinese comprehension, I could jolly well have missed out something.
