don't worry, their time together was so short, it's not even worth mentioning. There's noble idiocy or rather guilt on his part, that her family may have caused his parent's demise. So, he can't be with that sort of person, can he? She's made a few attempts to talk to him but he's too self-righteous and keeps pushing her away. If the drama does try to follow the novel, there's more than meets the eye with the FL, her background story. But that's a BIG IF. However, some hints have been dropped... that she was apparently in this 'world' about 10 years ago.
as you might have read from the posts here, yes if you aren't that critical of plots and acting. No, if you are. Yes, if you enjoy 'time/ dimension travelling' and no if you think that's too run of the mill. But I'd suggest you wait till next week to give it a try. Right now the plot hasn't quite firmed up yet. There's some mystery in the making....
Potentially and with my taste in dramas, i figure either this will be something I find curiously addictive or…
fingers crossed the translation won't take forever to come out. Right now, I'm doing my best to understand with whatever limited language abilities I have. LOL. I started watching for the FL. Despite the initial over-the-top acting, by E10 onwards, she has toned down a bit, I'll go easy on her. As for the ML actor, I think he's struggling with the tsundere act, trying to act cold while hinting that he cares from the facial expressions..at times it's there and at times it's not. I think there's some mystery element, not purely revenge. AND it's not quite that trivial as it may seem, despite her initial behaviour.
I have watched up to episode 12 and im loving it so far. At the beginning it seems like a comedy, but after a…
someone who has watched the drama and read the novel, commented that in the novel, the emperor and the FL plotted everything that is happening. And the FL is a rather complex character. But along the way, she transmigrated into a baby and lost all her memories. Also, apparently the writer got carried away with the plot and it went all over the place. But looking at the drama, there's some hint of past memories (i.e. the FL being in this 'world' about 10 years ago, but there is no hint of her plotting anything (yet). If that does happen, then this story won't be so ordinary. Let's see, there's still many episodes to go.
I am utterly floored at how annoying, ditzy and loud a 21st century woman can be when transported to ancient times.…
Yes the scenes are quite pretty to watch and the colour saturation is pleasing to the eye. After watching a few episodes, I get over her acting and can enjoy the show for what it is. I suspect after the poison, she may tone down a bit?
Btw, I am at Episode 10. So, in a way the synopsis isn't entirely off as I've got a better feel of why she was evading a marriage to the imperial family. In ancient times, she is in the body of a girl who is destined to be the Empress, ie to marry the Crown Prince (by virtue of the family being related to the Empress). This means the current empress is her aunt, on her father's side. At the start of the drama, she was supposed to be married to the Crown Prince but the previous soul occupying the body (as I explained below) was in love with the 3rd son of the Emperor, not the then Count Prince (I think the 1st son). So to thwart the wedding plans, she developed a poor reputation for herself to try to buy time. Even before the soul swap, this girl had already been acting all loud, unrefined, pretending to be a guy, visiting brothels, illiterate, etc.
The 3rd son (her childhood sweetheart) had been sent to some border of the country to defend it and thus they had been apart for 10 years (if not mistaken). In short, the sypnosis is correct, just which son she was trying to avoid is not clear.
And if anyone wants to know, by E10, the FL and ML are already together. Despite his tsundere ways, he was getting very jealous with the attention of the 3rd prince who is back in the city and trying his best to claim the FL as his (by asking the Emperor for a wedding appointment). Luckily the ML thwarts it with a ploy and this stops the Emperor from agreeing to the marriage. In a fit of rage, the ML asks the FL if she had been putting up a pretense all this while just to wait for the 3rd prince's return. In the course of that conversation, both ML and FL confess their feelings to each other.
Can you imagine by E10 they are already together...hmm.... I am wondering at which point their separation will begin? E16? When the 3rd Prince feeds her with the so-call poison?
