For me it's gotta be Hidden Love and Moving. Tbh this year was a little more than lackluster for me. Been in a slump for almost 2 years now and every show I was excited for fell short of my expectations. The number of good Kdramas and Cdramas were so less this year and even those at the top of this list didn't give me the vibes of the times when I fell in love with Kdramas that's from 2015. I've been saying this lately whenever I get a chance to check MDL or discussing with y friends that after pandemic Kdramas lost their charm maybe I am wrong but after Squid Game and Sweet Home or All of Us Are Dead they just focused albeit too much on Revenge/Thriller/Zombie Dramas. And slice of life or romcoms have been either off the radar or were underwhelming except a few like Hometown CCC.
Even this year I was staying away from Moving knowing that since it's Disney+ original chances are they might not make a sequel and ruin it altogether but ended up watching and loving it. Twinkling watermelon is overhyped and so are a few more.
Lately didn't find enough time to check MDL as I've been working from past 2 years, gone are those school and college days when I used to watch 10 eps in a day. Now I barely find time to watch one or 2 eps and then cuz of slump I've switched to movies or animes a bit.
Can someone tell me if I should add it to my watchlist? Tried watching when I fly towards you but didn't click with me and ended dropping on E3 meanwhile I loved Hidden Love though.
Completed it a week ago. It's a nice drama overall but no offence, that rating of 9.2 is definitely over hyped. The show had quite a few of flaws and loopholes.
All those original drama lovers don't cry too much bcz 99% international kdrama viewers don't care about Chinese…
Agree on that I didn't even use to watch Cdramas at and don't get me started with Jdramas they lack the production quality as well they are pretty same especially in case with Cdramas. Jdramas though does have different concepts and stories but they suck at depicting the concepts and end up being boring dramas.
Why is this list even here? So what if someone is overrated if you like that person watch the content if not then do not watch. Why Spew hate... so not needed!
