I have been doubting her love for NYS for several episodes now. Seems like she treasures her hatred the most, more than NYS, more than PP even. I have to keep reminding myself of what happened to her 7 years ago to stretch my patience and understanding and stop myself from downright hating her for continuously hurting NYS and endangering PP so

for Pingping's sake, I wish TJ can absolve NYS from her hatred towards NDY. It should be clear to her that NYS had nothing to do with her dad's death. Why deny her child a real father, a good, kind, honest person any child can look up to, one who can take Pingping to soccer games and teach him how to play ball games, one who lives at home unlike SZJ who never stays overnight, one who can provide Pingping a real home. It's not unusual in families for in-laws to hate each other. As long as they don't become violent in front of the child, it would not hurt the child as much as being fatherless.

imo it makes sense and in character that both TJ and NDY are not taking NYS into their confidence regarding the case. TJ is still treating him as the son of her dad's enemy, thus keeping her distance, and NDY knows NYS would not do anything to hurt her thus would not be useful in discussions about how to take her son away from her

in the soccer field, his eyes were following NYS's movements wistfully. i thought he was wishing to have a dad like NYS

that would be the best twist, that somebody else caused the death of TJ's dad

i sure hope this ends well. considering the suffering the leads have been going through, they deserve a happy ending

There's nothing sexier than a one-woman man. His heart belongs to only one woman and he can be amorous to only one woman. He can't even bring himself to kiss his pseudo girlfriend no matter how gorgeous she looks, how well she treats him and how much he likes her as a friend.

I'm actually feeling like NYS's mental regression is a break (for me) from the heaviness of the recent events, especially the custody battle, the revelation about his psychiatric treatment for 3 years and TJ 's unabating coldness to him. I feel so sorry for NYS. He is such a great guy, he doesn't deserve what has been happening to him, even being accused of taking bribes! My heart just breaks for him. At least now he is with TJ which is what he wants most in life. Hopefully, being together with him will melt TJ's heart.

she and Wallace make such a cute couple. their camaraderie translated to their drama. I guess that's why it feels so heartwarming.

the marquis (Wallace Chung) is so considerate that when his dying wife begged him to marry her younger sister Shiyi (Tan Song Yun), he told her he will marry Shiyi if Shiyi approves. That is, he was mindful of the young girl's approval on the matter. Considering that he is a powerful marquis and Shiyi is a powerless concubine's daughter, his remark showed his gentle and decent nature. it's such a beautiful love story.

Yeah, she was a whirlpool of emotions during that time - grief for her dad, fear of her son being taken away from her, her filial duty to her dad to right the wrong done to him, her helplessness that she did not have evidence to prove her dad's innocence, etc. So I wonder if she was even aware that her son was terribly sick. If she had known Pingping's life was seriously in danger, if she was thinking straight, she would have ignored all these other considerations and just did whatever it took to heal him, including telling the Nie family about him

she's cool and classy. she was the one who advised NYS to court TJ if he still loves TJ

Tan Song Yun is 31 years old. He's 47 and looks much younger. In the drama, her character is @17 when they get married. But I think 17 during that period is equivalent to, probably, 25 these days. His Marquis character is probably older than 30. But this age difference is not unusual for the noble class. I didn't find anything amiss with the pairing. The Sword and the Brocade is my favorite Wallace Chung drama.

i also understand why she did what she did. she was too distraught to think straight. But a rational mother who really cares about her son would rather give him away to people who can give him a better life than risk his life.

Unhealthy for her child as well. With his heart condition, he would have been born with purple lips. She should have had him treated right away, even if it meant swallowing her pride and asking NYS for money. But a living corpse can't think straight

but SQ is such a good sport and friend. when she realized NYS could not bring himself to kiss her, she accepted the fact that he could never treat her as more than a friend
