Still no news on iQiyi official broadcast.

And Viu Thailand has apparently announced a delay to fans asking about the broadcast, so no longer tomorrow probably. There are rumors as to why it's delayed, but nothing concrete, so best to wait for further news from Viu themselves.

If someone else doesn't see any updates first and post them here, I'll try to share whatever I find out as I find it. Hoping people will support the official (re)release as much as possible.

It was going to be released officially on Viu Thailand tomorrow, but latest says there's been a delay. Still a few days might be worth the wait for professional subs. First ten eps free, the rest paid. (of course, I don't doubt the paid eps will end up unofficially posted somewhere free).

Anyway, the subs will be proper.

Oooh, well. Difficult to answer, because the book is actually pretty different to the series and of course, it includes the actual romantic relationship development between the pairing. BUT if you're not up to reading the whole thing, I'd say start reading from chapter 130, this coincides with where Jiushi enters the 11th door and walks into his previously shared apartment with Wuqi. From there you'll see how different the final door and ending of the novel is and then you can also enjoy the extra chaps with Nanzhu and Qiushi.

Blame the forced censorship for that! The novel did not do that, the time lapse was only a year and it wasn't a total skip, just moving parts until the time passed, and then the BEST ending. Just sayin.

With the way it's worded about the release, and possibly because it's been released before, I think it should be a full airing of all 40 eps at once, however, from 11 onward, it's paid viewing :)

Haha! I saw it too bro, you're not alone, I saw the s*x one because I watched the yellow subs for the first lot of eps before I found opensubtitles. I remember it was the scene in the episode on New Years eve where Jiushi asks Lanzhu how he got involved in the game, but when I first watched it, the yellow subs MADE NO SENSE and had nothing to do with that question. It was so bad, I was so confused 😂😂

Nah, I don't live in China and don't have a Cn cell phone number, so getting an account on websites like Xhs, Weibo and Bilibili is hella difficult. But using a third party downloader (for most major social media sites) is no sweat. I used this downloader to get the uncompressed video full quality file off Xhs:

Yes, each ep is 20 min, so if it's 40 min then they've basically done exactly that. Also they've said nothing's been altered or cut, the eps are as they were when first released. ALL good news so far! If your country falls under the ones listed under that link then you should be able to see it on Viu no prob. As for iQiyi, that platform has a lot of international reach, if they only limit mainland Cn, then you should have access to it there as well! Otherwise, maybe use a VPN?

Totally worth the wait :D and I agree both are great, totally different feeeeeels from the different types of voices! Speaking of sharing, I checked out the source link from the tumblr post, it was on XiaoHongShu, so I got the original upload and shared it on my YT channel with a link back to the Cn site. I feel like it's a crime that the XZG version isn't on YT. More people should hear it! This show needs ALL the exposure it can get <3

But yeah, the novel ending is superior. The series really should have ended on 77 imo, because the ending of 77 kind of could fit with the novel where Quishi is alone for that year, hoping/waiting to somehow be reunited with Nanzhu. In the series, finishing at 77 would have have left the opening ambiguous enough that fans could assume Jiushi found a way back to the virtual realm sooner, or even that Lanzhu found a way back to him sooner, you know? And then we could have imagined things turned out like the novel.🥺

So I just ignore 78. Except for opening song of ep78 [The Door by XZG] because I LOVE it!

Ep21: This whole episode was a laugh riot.

Just about the ending, if you're a reader I'd suggest reading the novel since the ending of the novel is 11/10, just really so good, so much better. Personally I took episode 77 as my ending and that way the ending of the novel still felt like the best possible outcome, and it feels more complete.
