Well, they have kept its essence. He is still a r*p*st who commites the offence of aggravated form of r*** in…
Lol, why don't you just type rapist, rape and sexual. You're so butthurt about this topic but you're out here censoring yourself with words that exist in the English dictionary and in daily life for all and sundry to see and understand and hear all over in the real world. Be serious if you're gonna whine this much 😂
The comments for this show are so hilarious. It makes me want to watch ep 1-8 all over again 🤣🤣🤣. To…
I been saying. lol This kind of discussion has already happened so many times in the comment section and will likely keep coming up because some people can't separate fiction and reality and just enjoy the show. lol
I watched this episode twice and still replayed parts and it still feels too short ya'll, this show is not fucking around when it comes to its chokehold game 😭also Chinese BLs are the ONLY BLs I have ever actually teared up for, first TU, then TS and now RL, I don't usually feel feels when I watch BLs but I'm feeling all the feels. I always knew China's BL game was strong, but DAYUM. Respect.
This show is playing on my mind (like everyone eeeelllse) and I wanted to make a full FMV, but I only made a short one since the rest of the show needs to air first and my vids are usually full length. T'was fun. If anyone likes series edits/vids they can check it out https://youtu.be/BTIQ59p2YN4?si=Jn-33TKhvXotwTFp
Chi Cheng loves his snakes like his children/family, making them invaluable to him. The snakenappng is about his father exploiting that weakness.. Heh, wait until you learn about the premise for John Wick franchise.
Wasnt the sparkle in your eye produced by a singapore studio?
Yes it was. It was completely produced there, filmed and everything, so I think people are assuming the same about RL because the distributer is Singapore, not realizing the show was filmed in the mainland.
Are you sure? there is a video by someone named BL TEA TIME on yt who said that even broadcasts outside of China…
Ikr, it's like every third comment lol but I think people try to avoid spoilers by not scrolling comments OR they are just too lazy 🙄Just gotta keep telling them to keep calm and watch on 🤣

Lots of 'rumors' and stuff tryna stir up unrest about this issue going around.
Anyway, the only people who could possibly choose to take this down now are the streaming sites and the producers, but even then for the latter, since the show is sold to international streaming sites, it means the producers no longer have full control over the broadcasting rights, they may still hold some creative control, but it's not so easy for them to just pull the show once the distributer owns it. Although I don't think the producers would want to take it off air, I think they're all quite fine with how things are going (i.e: the show is very successful so far), all this noise online about censorship is just to cause drama imo.
Yep, Chi Cheng is not voiced by TXN, he is voiced by someone named 顺子 (Shùn zǐ), this is confirmed in the…
Voice dubbing is common in Chinese dramas, they usually make their best effort to choose voices that match the characters (even if we think the original actors voices would be fine), it has a lot to do with pronunciation/accents and enunciation and emotional/character tone.
Oh noes, someone's aaaangy about the big bad characters being meanies. lol Another 🤡who doesn't have critical…
Oh noes, sounds like you're more butthurt now LOL. So yeah, just to be clear, I'll comment on whatevertf I want and that's all there is to that, and you can too, no one's stopping you.
Again the problem here is your lack of critical awareness skills. The very fact you're watching any fiction and thinking people are 'wishing for it in reality' and watching dark things in fiction and thinking 'is it okay?' and having to tell yourself it's not, that is a YOU problem. Like say you watch a movie about an apocalypse/domestic abuse/poverty, etc and you reckon the writers/viewers are wishing for it to happen? That's on YOU 😂
You just seem like a 🤡 who's tryna make an issue where there shouldn't be an issue, not unless it's on a case to case basis and in this case, you're unable to handle the fictional content without being overly affected. If your brain is saying 'is this okay?' in the first place when watching dark themes like rape or murder, again, that's a YOU problem. Your brain/perception is the problem. You might wanna get that checked.
Fiction is entertainment, be entertained and get on with your life. Or stay pressed, your choice✌️😂

Yep, Chi Cheng is not voiced by TXN, he is voiced by someone named 顺子 (Shùn zǐ), this is confirmed in the show's credits. Whether 顺子 is the Samuel Wang you mentioned, I doubt it because this https://kisskh.at/people/147146-wang-bao-shun is apparently the voice actor, unless that's his English name...?
It means that China can't censor it or take it down because while it was filmed in Mainland China with Mainland…
That is the unfortunate part, there was/is a risk of them getting some unpleasant backlash and feedback in their own country, however, we cannot ignore the fact that the production crew, the author and the actors would all have known the risks when they took on this project.
It's not like there hasn't been a precedent set for the government's gross oppression of LGBTQ and the Unhinged® fans disgusting harassing behaviour over actors (especially BL), so they knew what they were getting into. They also likely were at least mostly prepared to deal with any fallout (and it seems they have been dealing with it fairly well if the actors increased popularity and the fact that the popular apps and sites in China are no longer blocking the trending topic of show online -the last time I saw an update at least-).
All said, we, as international fans, cannot do anything but support them from our side; financially by paying to watch the show for those who can afford it, and with online encouragement for those who can't.

Here's a video about it released by the director of RL:
