Watch this for my 2024 Alphabet Challenge. Quite surprised how much I liked this in the end…

Story happened in 1952 in Kyoto revolving around Kuwanoki Ichika & her family Ryoten restaurant. After World War II, Kuwanoki restaurant was on the brink of bankruptcy. Not wanting to lose the family’s restaurant, Ichika’s aunt (Marukawa Machiko) has a plan to arrange marriage for Kuwanoki and Yamaguchi family to get help from Yamaguchi family.

At first, the candidate was Ichika's younger sister, Futaba with the 2nd son of the Yamaguchi family. But it turns out the second son is already married, so the choice falls to the 3rd son, Yamaguchi Amane. Futaba is already hesitant to marry the 2nd son, cause he is younger than her, but once Futaba heard the groom will be Amane (which is even more younger than her), she decided not go through with the wedding & elope with her crush. So, the burden fell on Ichika. Although hesitant at first, after talking to Amane, they decided to go through with the wedding.

With no feeling for each other, at first this all only a marriage of convenience. But over time, they learn more about each other, and their feelings grow. So, how in the end, Ichika & Amane help to raise the Ryoten restaurant from the brink of bankruptcy…?

That's pretty much the story without giving any more spoilers.

What I like:
+ The funny feeling of humans. Actually until the end they don’t explicitly show that Ichika & Amane falling in love with each other, implicitly sure, but never out in the open. But their feelings of ownership of each other exist. Like how Ichika likes to tease Amane for being young, she still doesn't like when others insult him for the same reason.
+ How supportive Amane is to Ichika. I like how Amane defends Ichika and the restaurant from his family plan.
+ How all the platonic relationships do not bloom into something else. Like Amane & Suzune, or Ichika & her former boss.
+ All the yummy recipes… Haha….

Overall for me this is quite one perfect peaceful drama to watch in your everyday life…

It took bad to worst

OMG when I think the director can't make anymore messed except with the cast of Hero, he definitely proof me wrong....

I quite exciting when Thai want to adapt this, I think finally we get the proper romance, expect to get the romance better than Addicted. But boy oh boy... First they shock us with the cast of Hero, which like an alien among the teenage cast. Come on... You choose adult to play teenage boy & act romance with teenage boy... Until before this go aired still hope we get new cast for Hero or Pop. That's about disappointed cast, now what more can go wrong from here... UGHHHHHHHH!!!!!! Fair warning... This review will gonna fill with a lot of my rampage about the story & everything....

But first thing first... Story...

Story about Hero, a general's son who run away from home, cause his dad remarried. Hiro go to his aunt home & go to school where his aunt work as a principal. In that school, Hero meet Pop, a prodigy student that always sleep in the class but can still be a top student. Pop attract Hero attention & soon Hero learn that Pop is a poor student. Short story, Hiro get more and more attach to Pop.

And one day, they learn that turn out, whose Hiro dad's remarried is Pop's mom. That's create conflict in their relationship, but that's not enough to make Hiro stay away from Pop. They're soon accept the fact they're now brothers, and that's make their relationship even closer.

And this drama end when Hiro's dad learn about their relationship & start to against it. But it's not really end at the cliffhanger like the book or stay with me version.

And that's the end and maybe the only good thing about this drama version... How this version ended not really a cliffhanger.

In short, just watch anything else. Don't watch this crap....

Below I'm going to rampaging about everything but that's also mean BIG SPOILER ALERT!!! Read it at ur own risk.

==================================================
SPOILER ALERT!!!
==================================================

1. They ruined the whole story.... Nothing good really comes out from this version. Even the fact of Hero's mom death is like taken lightly.
2. One of the worst chemistry between the lead.
3. The way they combine the scene... UGH!!! From where should I start this... It's like they pick one scene & just stick it to the next scene, some scene make me wonder when that's coming from, how come this after that's scene... UGH!!!! Really get me one of the worst headache.
4. The actor need to learn to act first, before accepting any more role. Pop's expression is one of the worst & plain in the drama world. He sometimes even worse than the old Hu Yi Tian. Only & Tiger are not better too... They're really like a kid that get their first role...

Finally finished watching shen li.... The 2nd chance see Zhao Li Ying & Lin Gèng Xin in a drama together. First time they announced the couple I (We) already so excited about the drama, feel like the second season of the impossible Princess Agent. But this drama far far away from the Princess Agent, in term of plot / genre / etc, and nevertheless the pairing of Zhao Li Ying & Lin Gèng Xin still as perfect as I (we) hope for. Haha...

This drama open with Shen Li (SL) fight against her people for her freedom from unwanted marriage. Injured & escape to mortal realm she's transformed into her original form, Phoenix, and rescued by mortal named Xing Yun. Later, we found out that the mortal turn out to be the one and only remaining almighty True god, Xing Zhi (XZ). And the story about the forbidden love between the True god & other god begin....

Me all this time watch all the Xian Xia drama, never really understand why god can't falling in love or have any relationship with anyone, expecially if u one special god like XZ, or like Dong Hua in Eternal Love of Dream. But from this drama i think i can understand a little bit reasoning behind that rule. With special feeling for someone, comes special treatment, but unfortunately the god like XZ can't only treat someone special, he had to treat all the creation equal. One heavy burden to put on someone shoulder....

What i like:
+ The fiery chemistry between Zhao Li Ying & Lin Gèng Xin. Really one of the best paired in dramaland.
+ Unlike any other Xian Xia drama, where the almighty god will try to hide their feeling for someone special but silently protect them, XZ finally dare to openly protect SL.
+ The unpredictable plot twist about the main villain. Really shock when I found out who they set up to be the villain, or to be said the true identity of the villain.
+ The fiercely FL. SL is one of the FL that so brave & have the power to do so.
+ They give us a little preview of actually how XZ is so lonely & have heavy burden.

Overall this one of best Xian Xia ever... Never bored watching this from begin to the end. With interesting plot, fiery chemistry & good costume. All budget is place appropriately.. Haha...

Watch this due to boredom & don't know what to watch. Know the ML so just though to myself, let me check this out. So here I'm finished watch this drama...

What I like:
+ The chemistry between our lead. I can feel the tense, the building romance & everything these couple want us to feel it...
+ The tough FL. Even though she's not familiar with the industry & her sister job, she's not complaining much & just get the job done.
+ The proof that male & female can have platonic relationship. Haha... ML & his sister not the real brother & sister, but their feeling purely only sibling love without other feeling...
+ The supportive family. ML & FL parent is just supportive of their relationship without much trouble.
+ The cute relationship between Gao Ling (GL) & Mu Xiao Man (XM). The time GL take to consider their relationship is good. Cause you know sometimes is not easy to take the feeling from brother love to romance love. You need time to think and contemplating, to separate your feeling & thought, to really really think the difference between brother love or something else.

What i don't like:
- The crazy entertainment industry people. The manager, Fang Jie, just kidnap FL cause he didn't want her sister work to be stop. Yeah I know maybe like he usually said he just don't want all the struggle Su Jin Qing done to that point to be wasted. But still what he did is never OK, what ever the reason
- The crazy sister. To be just disappear from the beginning is never OK. You only leave letter to tell about your absence without much thought for other people it just not OK. Even if you stress out, you need to tell other people about your plan, especially if that's affect other people, like the case in this drama.
- The ending is kinda something amiss. I don't know what, & can't put my finger to think what is it. It just something feel lack....

Overall this just another drama to watch

Watch this due to my boredom watching usual romance drama. Although there're some things that make me frustrated but this is really one good police drama.

Zhuang Wen Jie (WJ) really makes me frustated. I really want to several times slap his face. He is naive where his not supposed to be & distrusted to someone you should trust.... Yeah I understand his family background really make him can't trust Luo Jian as a police & instead he just trust his dad old friend who clearly involve in his dad death. Where is you logic boy.... Haia....

Luo Jian himself really have one of the best Detective insting. Almost every insting he has toward everything in this drama is eventually come true. And his relationship with WJ make me think there's a little bit spark there... Haha...

This drama from the first case until the last one all interconnected together into one big case. I really like how they connected everything. And the ending, hoho, really give us feeling exciting about the future.... Really hope this drama have another season....

freakishly weird. A lot comparison to season 1

This is the first time I try to write the review before I've finish watch the drama. But this is also the first drama between season that have that much different. For the fans of Go Go Squid season 1, watching this drama really weird, because not only the cast different but also overall theme of the drama is different, from hackers game to robot competition. I don't know will I feel more weird or not through out the drama. Cross my finger it will not and I'll gonna enjoy the drama.

Learning from people in the YouTube talking about this drama, I just find out that this actually 3 series book, & weirdly go go squid 1 is the third book of the series, this season 2 is the second book & the first book not even in drama yet. Wonder what's in the first book & will it appeared in our TV or not...? That's why this season plot is about before the season 1, during the season 1 & after the season 1 story.

After watching this season here are my comment:

What I like from this season:
+ The friendship between all the robot sportsman we really can feel it. They help each other when needed, even though they are opponent in one point.
+ Even though the cast is changing a lot from season 1, at the end I really glad they change some of the cast, especially the female lead. If they still use the same actress with the season 1, yeah I think she will not be too much suitable to be the female lead in this season.
+ We finally get to see who grunt / shen zhe (SZ) mysterious girlfriend. In season 1, she mention a lot but we never get to see her.
+ Go go squid 1 & 2 have not such thing as love rival, even though here solo / wang hao (WH) supposed to be the love rival, but WH moved too slow... Uniquely in this season the second lead (SZ) whose given love rival / crazy ex-girlfriend situation.
+ I really like the changing in KK base camp. Here is more cool.
+ They not always order takeaway, but zhou yi cooking in the base. And i really glad the writer not forget the fact that wu bai (WB) can't cook, in the season 1 we can see that WB can't even cut vegetable when Han Shang Yan (HSY) asked him to help.
+ A lot of plot being explained in this season, like why Ai Qing (AQ) suddenly became commentator in the competition between KK & SP
+ They mostly used the name of the character not the nick name, like solo here mostly called WH, grunt here mostly called SZ, etc. In the season 1, i even don't know grunt & solo real name.
+ The last episode when in the wedding the mc asked who will be champion in next year, WB really put in the weird circumstances, but he got answer so funny yet correct as the groom ^_^

At first i really glad they pay enough attention with the time frame in go go squid 1, but unfortunately the more toward the ending the time frame a little bit messed up. The messed up time frame & plot with go go squid 1 that I notice:
- The all star competition where WB, SZ & WH compete. It's supposed to be after national competition. And a little bit disappointed HSY not included in the competition, really hoping I can see all of HSY, solo, AQ included in the competition.
- Grandpa Han supposed to be already go back to Norway at some times. But in here he stay in china all the time.
- The year KK invented in season 1 is already 2 years at least, but in here is not even 1 year.
- Mi Shao Fei invited to be the leader at KK is different from season 1, of course our main lead from each season must be responsible for this ^_^, in season 1 is HSY, in here is WB :P.
- The disappearing of WB & HSY. They both disappearing a lot in the drama, in the season 1 WB who is disappearing & give the team to HSY to be take care of, in this season of course HSY who is disappearing & give the team to WB to be take care of.
- The changing in HSY & Tong Nian (TN) style. Yang Zi in this season a little bit fat, while li xian look a little bit older, especially in wedding scene where we can see his wringkle near the eyes :p. Yeah yeah i know they are not the main lead here. But i still glad the writer didn't forget to put the bracelet back in TN hand, even though still in the wrong hand ^_^. Little detail that makes me smile :)
- All of the kk's member still so afraid with HSY. In the season 1 they supposed already not too afraid with HSY anymore. HSY & WH relationship also supposed to be better already.

Ok. lets try to apart ourselves to the fact this is a sequel Go Go Squid 1. I think this is a boring drama, maybe because, like several people write in here, this drama is lack of problem, the romance just went a little bit too smoothly. They even not try to make the problem that AQ & WB who from very strong rival club a bigger problem, yeah I know at some point that maybe the plus, we can see how devoted WB to AQ. But they simply have no problem as couple & that frankly is what make this drama quite boring. Maybe if they make a little bit problem here & there & cut some boring unnecessary scene, the drama will gonna a little bit better. The romance itself for me not so much a big deal. I've watch more interesting drama with more romance scene.

I glad I watch this drama, but if this isn't the season 2 of go go squid I don't think I'll gonna watch this drama, or maybe this drama will gonna a little bit down on my list, because i don't too like robot competition theme that they used. I skipped a lot their competition scene. What I feel the most missing from this season is funnily is Demo, Xiao demo. No demo who is childish, they make one / Zhou Yi became a little childish and dumb.

I also really like the quote from AQ: dream is like a seed, they hibernate but never die.

Overall: This season for me a little bit boring compare to season 1. Many scene in my opinion is a little bit stretch just to make the drama longer. And for the song, I still more in love with season 1 soundtrack. Re-watch...? no i don't think i gonna re-watch

gemessss

I almost didn't watch this drama, because I think the main actress not too pretty, but because the actress not the actor I still decided to watched this drama ^_^. Don't judge me, I like to see pretty face in my drama :p.

This drama is about love can make us be better person, real friendship is for forever, communication is really important & every problem have a solution.

The first drama that makes me want to scream 'gemezzz' through all the episode. I don't find an exact word to express my feeling in English. A little frustrated see Liang You Nian (YN) so slow to realize his own feeling. A little touch when YN confess to Xia Miao Miao (MM). A little frustated to see YN just decided by himself about study aboard & didn't tell MM at all.

This drama is really well written. They give us several couple with their own problem. There is Kai Tuo (KT) & He Xin (HX), where HX always stick to KT until KT didn't realize his own feeling, a little distance really good for them. Kinda happy see KT at the end have to chase back HX. Wang Yi Chao (YC) & Fang Xiao Yue (XY), a little bit similar with KT & HX. But in here we can see in Asia we still have sex differentiate, when HX chase KT everyone said she have no shame, but when YC chase & finally confess to XY no one said bad thing about him ^_^.

They also give us several family with their own problem. There is YN & KT family where KT have really a huge anger in his heart about his own mom & dad. Once the problem solved they relationship turn to be good, communication is the key. Really touch when KT finally apologize to his mom. There is MM family where dad almost never home due to work.

YN & MM relationship also one of the sweetest & funniest. A little bit funny but also heartwarming when YN fulfill MM wish to hide their relationship. Really funny to see how jealous YN, his face suddenly change into sour like. Because the actress is still quite young (MM & HX) this drama didn't have much affection like other drama. But I think it's good because they can show us romance doesn't always need affection. Really happy because finally they give us actress & actor that matching their age in the drama.

I also think this drama will be better if some of the scene faster & the drama have fewer episode. Of course typical drama, stretch it as long as you can :p

Overall I really happy & satisfied watch this drama. If there's season 2 I will watch it. :)

Watch it because i saw them in 10 miles and really curious with the continue of their story. But boy oh boy a little regret watch this.

I don't like their attitude toward each other. Especially when Dong Hua (DH) became so childish in some way. Yeah their so sweet with each other. But i kinda hope DH not so childish when he face feng jiu (FJ). DH is sooooo old afterall. :D

Story: so many flaw if i may say if you compare with their background story in ten miles. I don't know which is messed up but first of all the age of FJ is different than in ten miles. In the ten miles the age of FJ supposed to be equal to Ye Hua at least 70,000 years, because she was born first than Ye Hua. But in here their downgrade her age just to 30,000. I don't know why, maybe so they can make FJ more childish like. The story of FJ born also different. The meeting story of si ming, cheng yu and FJ also different. Especially the story of how DH & FJ met is also different. There is some more that i not remember at this time

A little bit disappointed also with some of the changing setting like the Zhe Yan peach forest, DH palace. Even though setting here more beautiful but for me better the setting in ten miles. I more like it

Cast: a little dissapointed when they change zhe yan, zhen zhen and cheng yu. But in the end every one quiet fit their role expecially cheng yu.

Re-watch: watch one time is enough for me...

Watch this for the MDL challenge. In the end, this one the movie that manage make me breathless when I watch it……

Let's begin our review…

The film is based on the real-life miracle landing of Sichuan Airlines Flight 8633 on May 14, 2018. During the flight from Chongqing to Lhasa, the cockpit windshield shattered at an altitude of nearly 30,000 feet, causing explosive decompression and extreme cold.

Maintaining an extraordinarily cool head, the captain, Liu Chuanjian successfully landed the plane at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport with no fatalities among the 119 passengers and 9 crew members.

Director Andrew Lau turns this true story into a heart-pounding, adrenaline-fuelled high-altitude blockbuster that will literally leave you breathless.
The kind of movie that doesn’t just show tension, it makes you *feel* it in your chest.

I am amazed with how calm the pilot & flight attendants were during the crisis. Especially the head flight attendant, she really did manage to keep her calm & composure even with all the panic passengers.

I was amazed by how composed the pilots and flight attendants stayed during the crisis. Especially the head flight attendant—her strength and professionalism stood out. Even with panicked passengers screaming around her, she kept her composure and did her job flawlessly.

This movie truly made me breathless during the most intense scenes. If you were sitting next to me, you’d find me gripping your hand during those moments…

If you love films that pump adrenaline straight into your veins—if you want to feel every second of danger, courage, and human willpower—and keep your heart racing, this is definitely one you need to watch.

I highly recommend it.

Another Boun & Prem drama of course I watch this…

Punn, the owner of a vintage shop, is asked by a friend to restore a painting that was mysteriously vandalized in their gallery.

While working on it, Punn accidentally injures himself, and his blood stains the artwork. Unbeknownst to him, that single drop of blood awakens Ramil, the last descendant of an ancient vampire lineage who has been trapped inside the painting for over a century.

However, Ramil emerges weak and powerless, becoming the target of relentless Vampire Hunters. To reclaim his lost powers, Ramil needs to find his former servants—vampires who now live discreetly among humans. After reuniting with them and reclaiming his powers, the time finally comes to face the Hunters head-on.

And when they uncover who’s truly behind the hunt… it turns out to be someone unexpected. Someone close.

So now, can the conflict with the Hunters be resolved?
And who is really pulling the strings?
That's pretty much the story without giving anymore spoilers. Now what I like and don't.
What I like:
+ Seeing Boun & Prem in another drama together.

What I don’t like:
- Interesting concept, but unfortunately very poor in implementation. Such as that horrific fighting scene…Thai or maybe just GMM-TV need better choreography for the fighting scene…
- All the cheesy acts that Boun did as Ramil.
- Too good of an ending… I don’t know how to put this into words… But I just feel they rush it toward the ending…

Overall I'm happy Boun & Prem can have a drama together again… For the drama itself I've seen better for sure…

Finally this on Air...

Another NuNew & Zee drama—of course, here I come! This one was a long time in the making, but it's finally on our screens. From the moment the trailer first appeared, we could tell this was a big-budget production

Alright, let’s dive into the drama…

The story follows Khanin, the crown prince and heir of the Assavadevathin royal family, and his royal bodyguard Charan Phithakthewa, whose family has served as the Assavadevathin’s royal guards for generations.

The nation of Emmaly is known for its prosperity, rich in both land and water. It’s a monarchy divided into five regions, each led by a powerful family. According to royal law, each region must send an heir to compete for the throne. The winner’s father becomes the new king of Emmaly.

When Khanin was just a baby, he was secretly taken away from Emmaly after a plot to assassinate him and his mother. Raised far from the palace by an adoptive father, he grew up believing he was an ordinary boy, completely unaware of his true royal identity.

But as the day of the royal succession draws near, Khanin is suddenly pulled back into Emmaly’s world. That’s when he learns the truth about who he really is. Yet even after discovering his identity, he has no interest in claiming the throne. The only reason he returns is to uncover who ambushed him and put both him and his adoptive father in danger.

Charan, bound by duty as a royal guard, is tasked with bringing Khanin back to the country. Once they return, Charan becomes the only person Khanin can truly trust in this unfamiliar world. As they spend more time together, their bond deepens—day by day, they grow closer. The spark between them slowly begins to turn into something deeper.

Meanwhile, the royal succession process continues. Khanin must compete against two of his cousins: Ramil and Ava. While preparing for the competition, Khanin, with Charan’s help, also investigates what really happened to his adoptive father and the attack back home.

So, what will happen next?
– Will Charan uncover the truth behind the assassination attempt on Khanin?
– Who will win the royal competition and ascend the throne of Emmaly?
– And what about Khanin and Charan’s relationship — Will the nation—and Charan’s own family—accept them, or will they face opposition?

That's pretty much the story without giving more spoilers. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ As usual, the chemistry of NuNew & Zee is always so hot & flammable…
+ The amazing location. It’s really one of the highest budgets for BL…
+ The interesting family dynamic, either it’s Khanin or his cousins
+ The adorable Chakri….

What I don't like:
- Too much steamy scenes… sometimes feel like watching half p*rn instead just another BL drama…
- They make Khanin too innocent until it feels fake.

Overall…. For a drama that makes me wait a few years before I can watch, it feels just overrated.

Watched this, of course, for my Tan Jian Ci—and I’m so happy I did! This drama has a unique story about identity, self-acceptance, and learning to love who you are.

Let’s talk about the drama…

This is the story of Su Cheng Cheng (CC), a woman who struggles with low self-esteem due to her appearance. Adding to this low self-esteem is her pretty and very capable sister, Su Qing Li (QL). It's not that QL bullies or mocks her—in fact, she’s kind & always supportive of CC—but CC can’t help but feel the comparison between them.

One day, CC attends a high school reunion where she runs into her long-time crush, Tang Qi (TQ). At the reunion, CC accidentally got her face wet and was mocked by TQ. Embarrassed, she fled the scene.

Outside, CC met a woman selling flowers. The woman gave her a bracelet to thank her for the extra money for the flower. The bracelet turned out to be a special high-tech device that allowed CC to change her appearance.

At first, CC didn't know the bracelet's ability and couldn't control it when it changed her appearance and accidentally transformed into a stunningly beautiful woman. By coincidence, she meets TQ in this new form. Enchanted by her looks, TQ falls for her instantly.

Angry at being judged solely by her appearance, CC decides to teach him a lesson. When she learns to control the bracelet, she creates a new persona — Su Miao (SM) — and begins interacting with TQ under this identity. As SM, CC repeatedly rejects TQ — but when he refuses to give up on her, she starts planning how to make SM disappear forever.

Amidst all the chaos, one rainstorm day, the bracelet suddenly stopped working. When it turned on again, it turned out the system was updating. The problem was... CC was stuck in SM's body!

When the bracelet started working again, it brought many upgrades. So, together with her best friend and sister, CC began a plan to "murder" SM. When they successfully made SM disappear, TQ was heartbroken and depressed for a while. But with the support of his friends, TQ finally came to his senses and eventually recovered.

After that, CC uses the bracelet’s powers a few more times to help others, creating different identities. But each time she uses a new character, she crosses paths with TQ again. Unwittingly, she captures TQ's heart in the process, TQ begins falling for each new persona, again and again.

But just like with SM, CC eventually has to make each of these identities disappear. TQ, unaware of the truth, experiences heartbreak over and over again.

Eventually, things reach a breaking point. TQ is on the verge of emotional collapse and couldn't take any more heartbreak. That's when TQ finally saw CC in a different light. Around the same time, another person appeared who baffled TQ because that person also emitted the same characteristics as CC. Yes, as you can guess, that person was also another character created by CC.

TQ isn't a stupid man; he quickly put two and two together and planned to trick CC into confessing.

So, the question now is... What will CC do? Will she confess to her 'crime,' or will she let TQ catch her red-handed? If so, what will TQ's action be afterward?

That's pretty much the story without giving more spoilers. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ A powerful story about learning to accept yourself.
+ Unique storytelling — seeing things from both CC’s and TQ’s perspectives adds depth and humor.
+ One of the best on-screen friendships: CC & Lin Yuan (LY) are true besties—full of trust, loyalty, and no secrets.
+ CC has a loving and supportive family. From her sister to her parents, they were all very supportive and later became her emotional backbone when she needed them most.
+ A different approach to relationships from other Asian dramas, especially the relationship between LY and Gu Yu (GY). I'm genuinely happy that their relationship worked out in the end.
+ It's hilariously funny how almost every time CC got stuck in character mode while the bracelet was updating, she'd always run into TQ.
+ The moment of confession—when each family member opens up and admits their own part in the things that contributed to CC’s low self-esteem.
+ Tan Jian Ci was amazing! 😍

What I don't too like:
- Toward the end, the focus shifted a bit too much onto the main couple’s relationship. I was curious about GY’s mother’s reaction to LY & GY’s big relationship decision—but the story just glossed over it, leaving things vague.

Overall this is a truly unique drama that makes you wonder what you would do if you had access to such a magical bracelet. Beyond the fantasy element, it’s a heartfelt story about self-worth, identity, and learning to love yourself for who you are.

If you’re looking for something different from typical romantic dramas, this one is definitely worth watching!

I’d been curious about this one for a while, but when I heard it had a second season, I got a bit lazy to start it. But I finally gave it a try… and wow, I’m so glad I did!

Finally—a sequel that actually feels like a sequel, not just a nameless spin-off or something slapped together with a "Part 2" label, like what happened with Ancient Love Poetry and The Last Immortal. I’m really happy when Dashing Youth (that comes out later even though that’s the prequel) not changing any names from this. Since I watched Dashing Youth first, it was really happy to recognize the characters names when watching this.

Anyway let's talk drama…

The story follows a group of young martial artists on their journey of growth, discovery, and destiny.

It opens with Lei Wu Jie, a passionate young disciple who is eager to prove himself. His journey takes an unexpected turn when he accidentally damages the Villa of Fallen Snow while trying to fend off some robbers. The villa is run by the innkeeper, Xiao Se. To make up for the trouble, Wu Jie invites Xiao Se to travel with him.

Along the way, they meet more companion—Wu Xin, Sikong Qian Luo, Tang Lian, and Ye Ruo Yi—and get swept into a much bigger adventure filled with danger, secret identities, and palace intrigue—long-buried battle for the throne.

As secrets begin to unravel, one of them must face the truth of their past and decide whether to embrace a destiny far greater than they ever imagined.

That's pretty much the story without giving the spoiler. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ The strong & great friendship between all the characters.
+ A beautiful martial art dance choreography—some of the most beautiful martial arts performances I’ve seen.
+ A beautiful mix of martial art & palace intrigue.
+ A seamless continuation between Dashing Youth and The Blood of Youth.
+ Like many Wuxia-focused dramas, there’s very little romance.
+ No open ending or annoying cliffhanger—something I really appreciate, especially with a second season already confirmed

What I don’t like:
– Many BS about sword power & soul.

Overall, The Blood of Youth is a beautifully crafted wuxia drama with strong character bonds, elegant fight scenes, and a compelling storyline. If you enjoyed Dashing Youth, you’ll definitely want to continue with this one.

I’m excited to see what happens next—I can’t wait to watch the next part of their journey!

Long time since I heard about this one, finally decided to check this out.

The story is about Chu Sang U, a very strict computer science student who gets left by his teammates to complete a group project alone. Frustrated, he removes their names and submits the work under his own name. This decision negatively affects Jang Jae Yeong, a popular design major whose dreams of studying abroad are jeopardized when he loses credit for the project.

Furious, Jang confronts Chu, only to be coldly rejected by him and given an explanation of how he was left alone to do all the work. The two part ways holding a grudge against each other.

Apart from his problems with Jang, Chu is in the middle of a new project that requires an illustrator. He takes interest in one particular artist—who, to his surprise, turns out to be none other than Jang.

At first, Chu is reluctant to work with Jang. However, Jang’s work fits perfectly with his vision. After some time both decided to shallow their grudge and decided to work together. As they're forced to work closely together, an unexpected attraction begins to develop between them.

That's pretty much the story without giving the spoiler. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ The chemistry between Chu & Jang is quite ok.
+ I quite enjoyed the way their relationship developed over time

What I don't like:
- At times, their relationship feels a bit forced. It's hard to explain exactly why, but there were moments where the progression didn't feel entirely natural. Not because of the actor chemistry tho...

Overall this is quite a good drama to watch.

I'm so happy when I found out they had a special ep for Johan & North.

Story about Johan & North life as a couple. They have 2ep for this. The 1st ep is how they manage life together, like husband & wife, where the wife is a full time housewife. Haha…yeah in this special ep, North mostly just stays at the apartment doing nothing, except house chores, like tidying the apartment, cooking, cleaning, etc.

In the first ep, they have a problem because of Jo’s busy schedule. Jo is back to not taking care of himself & that anger North. So at the end of the ep, Jo tries to neutralize North's anger by taking him to shop. But North is North, not like us women, you can't calm him down by just taking him to shop. Haha…

The 2nd ep is North’s birthday & how they spend the birthday together.

That's pretty much the story without giving any more spoilers. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ How sweet Jo & North are living their life.
+ I'm so happy to see Jo try to neutralize North’s anger. The panic in his face. Haha…
+ The prewedding photo of Jo & North

What I don't like:
- Freaking no one else except them… I know the team probably doesn't want to pay extra for another actor to show up. But at the end it feels so freaking lonely….
- The 2nd ep is not needed. The existence of the 2nd ep is just like too much sugar. It bored me in the end.

Well… overall in the end we can freaking feel they just try to milk money out of our fav couple…
