Quite intrigue watch this short drama... But as usual with short drama, this also quite fast pace & a little week at the end.

Tell story about Lin Xian (LX) & Zhuang Xiao Man (XM). They arranged to be engaged by their grandpa. But after a little threatened by LX's grandpa, LX finally settled in XM house. XM that's being sick by all the blind date the villager arranged for her & LX that's need to be agreed to his grandpa make a little secret deal, to be agreed in their engagement for about 1.5 month and after that they agreed to break the relationship.

But.... Because LX & XM is the main couple here, of course they finally fall in love with each other. LX that gets used to with farming life also falling in love with the lifestyle in the village. The end...? Haha.... This is drama, of course not....

LX's company turn out hanging on the cliff, and before coming to the village, he made a deal with Lu Yao (LY) to be her fiance. LY try to break LX & XM relationship through Chen Jingwen & successful. They break up. But later on XM find out the truth & decided to chase LX to the city. Will it successful? Well... I think I spoiled enough. You need to continue watch urself.

What rush?
- The way XM & LX fall in love feel a little bit rush. Suddenly they just already fall in love with each other.
- The ending. Ugh... I really wish for better ending...

Overall do I feel this worth watching? For short drama YES! This has beginning, middle and end. The story quite clear & good. The acting also quite good, not feel the actor/ess like just graduates from acting students drama.

Intrique to watch this from YouTube pitching. Turn out as quite good. Sometimes really amazing with YouTube algorithm. Haha...

Story about a man, Liu Li (LL), who goes through heart break. Although it's been 2 years, but LL still can't move on from his crush and that's effect his writing. It's like he's been running in place for 2 years. And that's when he meet Gu Jing (GJ), the owner of beef noodle restaurant under his house. And they story began when LL drunk & accidently kiss GJ.

This drama told story about time, friendship & love heal the wound & open new beginning. This drama also tell us about to learn to put ur partner in every things in ur life. Like when GJ have trouble with his mom, LL that finally speak up & break the cycle.

Overall this heart warming story about love & relationships.

Another good short drama, with complete concept with beginning-middle-end. We can see this is not really a low budget short drama. Even though it's only 14 ep with 35 min each, but we can say this made with love & story to tell.

Really interesting how they flip the concept of time travelling & what a poor Lu Yu An (YA). This story start in the future & with each time travelling Shen Bu Yan (BY) move backward in time instead just moving forward. So the first time meeting between BY & YA is actually the last time they met each other & the last meeting is actually the first time they met each other. So yeah, with all the knowledge & missing feeling of BY by YA, it's just pity her...

This drama tell story of BY that try to change the fate of YA. With each time travelling he tried his best to change the fate of YA, but instead changing it, I say he put everything just in the place where it's belong. And with the wheel keep going backward each time we got story to tell...

This time travel concept tell us that we can't really change what in the past, we can only learn & know what happen in the past. That's why, I kinda frustrated with BY actually. He a little bit slow in understand the concept of his time travelling, so he just waste so many valuable time to tell YA what she need to know about future. I mean YA obviously already told him, in the second time, at that time she still has memory of BY, how he not understand that he can't change the wheel of fate...? A little slow if I must say. Haha...

Overall this really one good short story that you may check out. Oh and btw, This is maybe the first time that I really like the performance of Zhang Ya Qin as YA... She played her good....

Simple story about love. A short drama that sweet, fluff & just simple to fill your day. For the short drama I can say this has complete story, has beginning-middle-ending. The story itself not a complicated one, but still leave a footprint in your memory.

Story about a girl that like another girl. Maybe like shiro wrote: 'This is the story about the girl who wanted to learn how to make great coffee... or more like got a crush on a barista so she used the oldest trick in the book "learning" to get close to her.' But cause it's just a short drama, so we got no story from their family or you can say, anyone else. This just a story about 2 girls, how they start the acquaintanceship > friendship > courtship > being together.

annoying BGM

Watch this for Alphabet Drama / Movie Challenge 2023. Turn out the story quite interesting, the acting not so bad, the costume etc also not so cheap. The only thing that annoy me to the point I almost drop this is the BGM. I don't know why, or it just pure my bad luck, but this time youku have that annoyed BGM where it should not be, or the disappearing voice altogether (almost like mango tv in YouTube if you know what I mean). The only help only the text still exist so we still understand what they talk about. Thankfully the story still quite interesting & it's only short one, so yeah I hang till the end.

This drama tell a story 3 sister, Mo Shi Shi (SI), Mo Sha Sha (SA) & Mo Jing Jing (JJ) that Fall in love with the same guy, Shen Mu Han (MH), SA & JJ have the same mother while SI has different mother, but they all have the same father. The story begin when Si married to MH, but later on she died injustice & back to the past to the day of her wedding with MH. With the memory of the future, SI start to change her own fate & begin her love story with MH.

Shen Mu Han (MH) married with SI with one purpose, to take revenge to SI cause he think that SI kill SA (his love). But with time he learn that everything is not like what he think it is. MH start to know the real SI & of course fall in love with her, he also found out who he actually love in the first place.

With time rolling, SI & MH start to unravel many interesting past regarding SI's parent story. And finally SI get the revenge for her mother & light everything that evil try to hide. (I'm not gonna write it here, cause that the big spoiler & I'm not gonna ruin that much)

Except the annoying BGM for me this drama is like any other short series, feel quick & fast forward, where some story happen so d*mn fast.

Overall if you can ignore the BGM & disappearing voice, this story still quite bearable & good enough.

Watch this shortly after I watch Love of Replica, and due to my personal problem I even watch it together for some first few episode. Found the story quite similar, where the the same face girl take another girl place & later we find out that they are turn out to be twin. But with more episode we go through, turn out the 2 drama not really similar story.

This drama tells a story about a girl name Nie Sang Yu (SY) that fall from the cliff & lost her memory, she is a wife of the marquis Ning, Ning Yu Xuan (YX). As the summary told us, SY is a woman with a reputation for treachery, scheming, and evil, but this new awake woman has completely different character from the description woman, she is cheerful & kind hearted woman. But because of the amnesia, everyone keep believe she is the same girl. And later on we find out that she is completely different woman, named Ji Man (JM) that turn out to be SY twin.

What I love about this drama:
+ The chemistry between Ding Yu Xi & Peng Xiao Ran. Although Ding Yu Xi wardrobe, hair style & character kinda remind me of his other character in The Romance of Tiger and Rose, especially the hair style.
+ The funny story of Gui Bai (GB) & Shui Niang Zi. Although also a little frustrated by stubbornness of GB, but yeah it's still kinda understandable.
+ The noble character of Yuan Lang. He is one man that never avoid his fault & finally that this very character that finally bring peace to JM & YX.

What I don't too like about this drama:
- The classic stupidity of the opponent, in here I mean Ling Jian Xing.
- The usual greedy of another family of the emperor, Prince Tan. Nothing much, just kinda boring with this plot.
- The too easy situation of ML. YX as usual ML, get all the trust from emperor & everything seem easy for him.

Overall this drama has nothing new or old to offer, but still quite good to watch.

Kinda excited to see Tsao Yu Ning & Yilia Yu again together. But the story weirdly not as good as I expected.

This drama told story of almost impossible logic or science. If you read discussion below, there's someone talk about this story probably happen in the future timeline. Yeah that's kinda make sense, if we see the phone they use here, transparent phone in that case. But if really happen in the future timeline, why not just make it completely obvious with all the futuristic technology, or at least give more obvious sign that this happen in the future timeline. If yes, that's more make sense for the story in this drama to happen. So kinda patchy story, if I must say.

But the good about this drama:
+ The chemistry of Tsao Yu Ning & Yilia Yu never disappoint me. That's the advantage with pairing old couple together
+ This drama tell us that family is not only about blood relative, but more of connection. Sometime Asian drama talk about how important blood are, but lack the importance of the connection that build overtime. I'm not gonna spill here, cause it's a major spoiler. You definitely have to watch till the end to know what I mean.
+ Funny relationship between Tian Sui & her 2 men, Ding Bei Fan & Jiang Tian Cheng. But I really happy with who she choose in the end. It show that sometimes companionship is a lot more important than love at the first sight.

Overall even though feel this like push the boundary for the story to match with the whole picture, but this drama still provide us good chemistry between our lead, good friendship, action & good story to tell. So yeah I still say you can check this one out.

One perfect short drama

Sometimes pick the right short drama is like picking lottery, so many bad thing, but once you found a good one just like hit the jackpot. Haha...

This short drama compare to other you can say one perfect little short drama. One short drama that not only offer you complete story (with beginning, middle & end), but also has very good meaningful story to tell. Although of course every drama still has it's minus point, but for me a short drama like this is just hit the perfect point. A little warning, I'm gonna spoiler a little, but still not a big spoiler so I don't think I'll gonna ruin your enjoyment for watching this drama. But if you don't want to spoiler at all, just skip reading my review then...

This drama tell a story about very unconfident woman named Chi Xiao Yu (XY), that often be doormat for the people in her office. The story begin when she found an app that can bring dishes that can change her characteristic, and the first order of course to give her the courage to change her as a doormat at her office. And from that the story go on... Unfortunately the effect from eat the dishes not long, only 15 min if I'm not mistaken & she has to order and eat it again. The interesting part is she's not only order that specific character, but also other character, like became queen of drama romance when she wants to date, etc....

What XY never expected, there's heavy price that she has to pay for the character that she's order. Like in real life, when something to easy, there're usually heavy price that we have to pay to gain it... Yeah in this case, her drawing talent, overtime her talent became worse and worse. And this the little MINUS of this drama, she never realize what make her talent became worse and worse, she just think because she's not practice it. So yeah she just continue practice her skill, while she's also stop ordering the special dishes. So yeah of course her skill become better and better again.

In the other hand turn out our ML, Su Yang (SY), also the customer of the character shop. But him in the other hand, only order 1 special dishes... Can you guess what...? Watch it for know it. Haha... And the heavy price he has to pay is his time & his appetite. He has no time for anything except his business & he can't eat anything except the special dishes he order from the character shop.

Overtime they bring us another price that they have to pay for eating the specialty dish. Our CP, XY & SY, think what the other like about themselves, the actual character of themselves or the character that they got from the character shop. That's also happen to ourselves in real life. When we put too many mask in our face for other to see, we will never gonna know what other person like more about us, the real us or just the mask that we put in our face, that sometimes we put to please other people.

What really interesting is the closure of this drama. Where both XY & SY finally stop ordering from the character shop & finally brave enough to show their real self to other person. Or to take quote from Wang Zhe, the owner of the character shop: "what people really need is the bravery to change themselves."

If you look for any short drama to watch. This is just one prefect short drama to be put into your watch list

Impossible police movie

Impossible police movie why...? Because it's really miracle if you get into special forces into police department just by being a hero & all the reporter happen to ask if you would get into police forces or not & the mayor just agreed by it. But still it's become one good dream that this movie sold. Haha...

Oh Gyun Shik became police by pure luck & coincidence. That's why all the superior & senior in the police forces don't know what to do with him. And by suggestion by one of the leader he become first ever police intern. But Gyun Shik didn't take the job for granted & did it with all his heart. Maybe that's why God (and of course our writer) give him opportunity & talent to do the job well & got acknowledged by his colleagues. Even his direct boss, that at first really want to 'kick' his out, become his supporter & fight for his position in police force.

Overall this one good Detective movie...

Watch this originally for my 2022 Alphabet Drama / Movie Challenge, but in the end letter (A) filled with another drama. Hohoho... But however this drama got me quite hooked so I've decided to continue watch it until the end...

This drama actually quite good, but the problem is this drama has too many story on hand. I more prefer if they more focus on one story. I mean like they have the story about the travelling and also the problem with the painting and the drug trafficker that maybe make the story more appealing, but in my opinion make it become too many story to tell.

This drama really attrack us with the scenery of china. Along their way we can see how beautiful China scenery, food and also the culture. Make me really want to visit China again and travel by backpacking....

I also really like how they develop the feeling between the couple. Jin Xiao Tian (XT) & Li Xin Yue (XY) building their trust with each other. Although at first really frustated with how stupid Sheng Xia (SX) toward Chu Zhi Han (ZH), but I really glad how in the end ZH finally can see how 'stupid' SX to him & decided to reply SX feelings.

This drama also not lack with problem.
- How stupid XY when she decided to bring Chu Hong Fei to court to accuse him acknowledge her dad's painting. Hello... XY don't have any proof but yet XY already so hasty to uphold justice to her dad... No wonder she lose the first time right...
- The problem with Hu Zhi Hui (ZH) & Ouyang seem so weird at first, but yeah finally everything explained in the end. But still how fast actually ZH & Ouyang trust XT also one big question mark
- The stupid of Ouyang. Usually when you are a big boss in the drug member, you have someone you trust. But here Ouyang seems to have no one as his right hand man. Like ZH or the other man, he seems have no trust in them. So that's why no wonder in the end he meet his end like that.
- The police forces that's seem easy to corporate. Haha... This is maybe just me watch too many police drama. But usually every police force at every city like all in the hand of Feng captain. He just need to pick up the phone to tell what XT's problem & like that everyone seem eager to help XT.

Overall this one good drama to watch. Just prepare urself for the long ride. Haha...

Been damn busy these days, so I decided to find another short drama. Find this across Youtube short clip suggestion & got hooked very quickly. Thanx God YT provide the full combine version of the drama, so like watching movie instead just short drama.

The story very interesting, revolve around the character from our manga/novel. It's like they have their own world/dimension, where every character are actor/ess that got cast to play different role in different story. Unfortunately we don't know is it just our FL that got concious & memory from every role that she play or everyone else did the same. Maybe it's the same, because later on we got to know that Song Ruo Yun got concious & Leng Ye Han (YH) remember his relationship with our FL.

What also make this drama different from other 'falling into story' drama is we can see how the character got bound with their character in that drama that they fall into. Like Luo Qing (LQ) have certain character/dialogues that she has to follow whenever Mu Nan Chen (NC) nearby. Or later on we can se how struggle YH have to force himself when he want to rebel against his set up character. Really interesting to see how the cast in the drama can't be exist if they really try to get out of the character they set out to be, like how YH almost vanish when he lost his desire to revenge.

Also really funny to see how our FL, LQ, mocking the character stereotypes in drama world. Like how overbearing boss ML like NC like to drink black coffee or being pissed with her own dialogues & cliché scene...

Overall this really one good short drama production. This drama has very clear beginning, ending & plot that really good & makes us hooked.... Spend your time watch this one, not many short drama as good as this one...

Watch this for my 2022 Alphabet Drama / Movie Challenge. Quite headache with what this story about. No, not because the unclear story or plot, but like everyone say here, they making it so cheap so expect nothing about.

Firstly I don't too like this drama, because so cheap & short drama, so it contain nothing heavy or meaningful. Even though this is just another cheap and short drama, the more I think about it the more true it is like everyone wrote here, everything just there.... There's love story, politic & drama. Although no character development, but the costume, the martial Art and the background is quite nice and not too cheap for the eyes...

So yeah... If you look for short and quick drama to complete your Alphabet Drama / Movie Challenge. This drama can be your choice. Haha....

another cliffanger

Another director that I want to hang.... Ugh... While My Roommate Is a Detective itself still end with cliffhanger he has the gut to start another drama that also end with another cliffhanger!!! And the cliffhanger even worse than in My Roommate Is a Detective.

OK enough rampage to give you idea for you who don't like cliffhanger in the end of the show.

What I like:
+ The bromance between Hu Yi Tian & Leon Zhang still one of the top. Always enjoy their interaction in the drama.
+ The woman more compatible than in My Roommate Is a Detective. I more like Zhou Mo Wan than Bai You Ning for Hu Yi Tian character. Feel more fit & perfect.

What I don't like:
- Feel like they forcing the story. It's like every story must have connection one and another.
- Kinda bored to watch Hu Yi Tian always play the serious part. If they can flip the character for Hu Yi Tian & Leon Zhang that's more interesting. Haha...

Overall this drama is about detective in the revolution era that end with big cliffhanger.

It was good until the last episode

Not many drama leaving me at the edge of frustration when they closed the curtain. This drama is one of among some of it. This drama have a decent story, plot & villain. But why they have to messed up the ending....?????? Why not add another episode to close the drama with very good story to tell.... Aaaaggggghhhhhh Really make me frustated. One quite good drama must have this bad ending....

Before watch the last episode I still plan to give this drama at least 7 score, but the last episode make me drop it. I still rise it a little bit due my love for Xu Kai. Haha....

Ok enough about the rampage. I'll gonna write big spoiler or you can say more complain about the ending & everything else. If you haven't watch it or don't want to know the ending. Just skip my review then....

The bad:
- The relationship between Ding Yun Qi (YQ) and Wu Shuang (WS). They don't build enough story about their childhood relationship. Just a little bit here and there to suggest they know each other since child & of course they're childhood sweetheart. But isn't YQ go away for almost decade or you can say very long time, so what make his relationship with WS so special until when he see her again he has deep feeling for her....?? All that trust, where is it comes from, how can you so trust someone that you already haven't see for many many years, what if she change...???
- The love rival. How childish Chu Feng Ling (FL) is. When she became jealous of how YQ relationship with WS I wanna scream... Xiao Jie how can you compare your relationship with YQ and YQ relationship with WS, you don't even start in the same line. So you even have no right to say that you heartbroken when YQ choose WS over you....
- The weird thirst of power that FL suddenly has after Luo Jiu Tian died. Yeah I know how she several times say by witness her brother died, she understand how important power is. But still the transformation is so weird & feel not in place. I don't know, maybe from Ruan Ju herself act that part not conciving enough for me.
- What happen with Yu Family, are they all died from the last battle. They only show us Madam soldiers survive & can go to the cave. Am I right to assume they all died....???
- They force the good luck. Haha... You can say this is my own prejudice, but Elaine Zhong who play WS a little bit too old to be 'little sister' of Xu Kai. & I can't feel the chemistry between Elaine Zhong & Xu Kai too. For me their chemistry almost none, not even as friend. It just feel like this is a job they have to finished.
- What the use for Soul Pursuit Order they have to collect in the first place.... This kinda joke. Until the very end that thing never proven its use. They only use Ding Yuan Shan Soul Pursuit Order to open the door, but the other we're not even see it anymore...
- Last but not least the CGI is a little bit too smooth. To the point I really can notice that definitely the result of CGI. Yeah I know this just my preference, but kinda hurt my eye too see something that obvious. Haha...

- All must happy ending. A little bit force for happy ending here.
How in the end YQ get out from that cave, much better if they give us scene like how YQ try to get out by solving the puzzle or whatever, but the last scene of him he just standing there regretting not be able to protect the Kun Lun Mountain. HOW THE HELL DID HE GET OUT?????!!!!!
Why must He Biao survive. Yeah I know I also glad he is not dead, but saving him a little bit too much.
What happen with the relationship between WS and her sibling. The last time she still tell us she still need time to process everything & suddenly everything good & she just accept her sibling. Aiyo...
No one stop San Jin. I mean when YQ send him to send the letter. The madam already know he go down, but like she just forget about that piece of information or consider it not important, so no one even try to pursuit him...
The marriage between WS & YQ. The sudden marriage also feel strange, it feel like the director want to make wedding scene & he decided to do it at that time.

Ok all the drama still have good side.
The good:
+ Never expected villain. They twist and turn it several angle, but kinda fun to see how the actual villain in the end.
+ The feeling between WS & Zhou Qiu Hai. The struggle WS has in the end really makes sense.
+ The martial art & all that puzzle really fun to watch. The martial art choreography also quite good.
+ The song quite good to listen too. Haha...
+This is also just my preference. But the hero not always arrived at the right time. Haha... Sometimes just bored to see how our hero always arrived at the right time when there were someone in danger. Because in reality not always like that. Here we can see several times how not everytime our hero comes to us. Like when WS almost got raped, YQ have no ide about it & the one save her is FL and not YQ.

beautiful youth

Long time heard about this drama, but once again I never expected this drama to be so good. Watching this drama make me really feel how good to be youth again, feeling the first love & just being together with my friend at school without have to think or worried about all the problem in life except for homework & test....

I think this is the second time I really want to smack the back of ML head because he is so stupid but yet adorable. Second time I scream to my screen "GEMEZZZZ" when I see how our Male character react. Gemez if I translate to English the closest word to describe it maybe something that have meaning frustated & also adorable. Like how stupid yet adorable Song Zi Qi and Kong Sha Di, especially when they have a fight after high school, oh so stupid yet adorable. & how stupid is our ML, Zhou Si Yue (SY), when he reject our FL, Ding Xian (DX), yet not long after that he finally admit his feeling & start to pursue DX, see stupid yet adorable. Really like how DX like give him lesson & not agreed immediately.

What I really like about this drama:
+ How not shy SY cry a few time & yet no one teasing him as cry baby. Like when he sad, frustated, moved by his friend, happy and all that emotional feeling. We're not often see man cry in our screen, because society makes us think man can't cry or consider sissy. But the truth man just like us woman, they have tears & feeling, why can't they cry if they want to...?
+ The chemistry between our main lead. Even from high school time, a few time I almost scream frustated to my screen for them (SY & DX) to kiss...... DX & SY chemistry is not all over the top, but from their eyes we can feel how deep & pure their feeling for each other.
+ How open SY & DX communication after they're together. Like how DX want their relationship changing, so no childish grumpy or rage, instead she explained to SY how she wants their relationship change into...
+ How fierce actually SY toward DX at the beginning of their university days. I agree with how SY look his relationship with DX & how DX actually a little bit stupid. If DX can only follow SY's step, they will not gonna ever be equal partner. So even though SY's word actually a little bit harsh, but it's really for the good of DX. But actually how funny that SY almost did the same stupid mistake with DX when at the distribution of majors in his high school he actually chooses Art instead science just for the sake he can still together with DX. Ah youth and their heart and head....
+ How cute to see all the couple really wait until they graduate high school to start their relationship.
+ How natural all the couple relationship progress. Even though they basicly you can say childhood friend, except You Ke Ke & Jiang Chen of course. Oh how beautiful if we have one childhood friend that eventually become our life parner.

The minus I can't think much. Maybe the duration still a little bit long, but they definitely not stretch the plot or whatever. For notes I still watch this with 1.5 speed & for me that the ideal speed to watch this drama. Oh and 1 more, until the last episode I still don't get what they mean by 'our secret'. Can't connect the title with the story. Better if they come out with another title instead...
