I know - if she did do it, that would have been such a nice memory to flash back to when they finally get married. I hope we will see that in the ending!

I love how progressive this show is...finally a ML that is not uncomfortable talking about menstrual cramps, and a FL not afraid to to talk about period mishaps...

Ah, my expectation of the perfect guy is beyond realistic now - next time I go to Asia, I am going to go check out TCM places. Maybe I will get lucky...hehe

The parents in this show are terrible when it comes to putting pressure on their kids. Xi Fan's parents are fine in general, but they don't offer any support if Xi Fan wants to do something that is not part of their plan for her. Just like Su Ye's father.

I enjoyed watching them in the Legend of Shen Li but I might wait until the sequel is out before watching both seasons.

Ah ok, I’m ok with both and liked them in the Legend of Shen Li.
But I don’t like cliff hanger ending though so maybe I’ll wait until the sequel is really out😁

Episode 16 was awesome - from tears to smiles! I love that both SY and WYF think they are wooing the other. Zhang Ruo Nan is playing WYF so well - she’s adorable in her flirting attempts! And BJT is just perfect!

I’m going to try Princess Agent, they said it’s pretty good. He’s one of the main actors but not the male lead, I guess.

What if she never left? 😁 the way she was smiling after he longingly said her name. As long as we don’t see her riding away, I’m gonna pretended that she stayed with the Empress leaving her alone

Excellent drama, with strong performances by the cast. Brilliant plot writing, keeping us at the edge of our seats! My wishful thinking for the ending. It was satisfying but I cannot help but wonder…

Another green flag ML, ZLH is just so gentle and soothing as He Su Ye. It makes me laugh how the filters make him look so soft all the time. Watching him heal Shen Xi Fan is healing for me too.❤️

Well, we were warned in the beginning that there is no romance. The show had to torture us by the leads having such strong chemistry.

I really don't get the low rating on MDL - if I go to Douban's review section, mostly 4 -5 stars. I am curious about the rating which I guess will show once it ends.

I have not watched ep 28 -30 but it sounds like our predictions were correct. About the ending, I am going to rewrite it in my head that after 1 year, their situations will change and they will be the end game for each other :D
