The way Sang Yan kept teasing her, I am not surprised that WYF finally decided to run away (based on the preview) but maybe the 3rd party will finally make her realize her feelings but I don’t think she will do anything anyway.

I started this two days ago and binged through it. This was a good, light, and fun watch which I feel is underrated on MDL.
I always enjoyed Alan Fang's roles and his ML character is such a green flag one, just like Prince Henyang, the SML. Honestly I quite like Prince Henyang - he would have been a great match for Ling Yu, the FL. Jelly Lin did well as the independent, intelligent and plucky FL. The second couple is also very cute.
WIth a satisfying ending, I would recommend this show if you are looking for a lighter show that is not too angsty and will leave you feeling good.

All very good points. We sort of know what the overall game should be but the show is dong a good job keeping me at least, at the edge of my seat. I don't know how many victims will be claimed as collateral damage before we reach the end.

Yeah, I think he is, and working with YPA. We know that YPA has no problem putting everything including herself on the line, so taking a whole year off and then popping up as a direct challenge to the Wu family, is something within her character.

She’s not nice but as a ruler, she’s pretty good. Her character to me was written pretty well, she knows when and how to use her power.

I think so too! Who knows maybe it is the Empress who’s the chess player and she’s been using YPA and YSC all along to clean out the Wu and Li families. I would love t if that was the case!

Just one episode today and the players are setting up for another showdown. I wish we could tell what YSC would do. He’s in tight with the Wu family but knowing our leads, I hope they are playing another long game. This time there’s a time skip but luckily our guy is still single!
I hope they drop all the remaining 5 episodes tomorrow.
