Our leads back together by then, memories intact and neither died again?
He actually got his memories earlier in a way, his subconsciousness lasted through the soul cleansing spell and somehow retained his feelings and memories

Well, the ML does die in ep 37 - he sacrificed himself to get rid of the demon-lord in him so he destroyed his own core. But of course the FL and their friends found a way to save him so all is well again in ep 38.

Happily together in ep 38. Ep 37, they have their memories but the ML pretended to be evil to trick Dun Tian so it was only towards the end when he revealed he remembered everything
A few hours well spent finishing up this drama, and I am left satisfied! This was a fun and entertaining ride and not too angsty for a Xianxia. The pace was good. Deng Wei and Julia were great as the leads, and Deng Wei is one fine-looking actor. I look forward to his next show!

Yup :) Last two episodes were about them collaborating with everyone else to take down Dun Tian. Some sad sacrifices but all is well with a happy ending in the end.
I just finished episode 38, but if it continues as it is currently, I will be grateful to the show for not leaving everything to be resolved in the last episode. Looking forward to finishing the last two episodes, and based on the comments, I expect I'll be in a good mood after :D
Seeing the previews, I already feel bad for Wu An Kang. I'm also not liking the whole arranged marriage; feeling indignant on behalf of YPA lol
I am holding onto hope that YPA and YSC would be the end game for each other, with an HE. They are so good for each other and those indirect confessions...but YSC is so focused on his ambitions, and YPA has so much to recover from and find a new path in her life. I am really curious how the show will end this.
Having another villain popping up changes the game again, especially since it was an unexpected one. The next 6 episodes will be another emotional ride.
Seeing the comments about Shawn Dou, I wanted to add mine - I like his performance in this show and his looks fit the manly, aggressive and moody YSQ.
Catching up and now on ep 32… I was wondering about the amnesia trope and I agree with folks that it was well done. After the sweetness of the earlier episodes, I like this plot twist and bad-a** SYS. But I feel so bad for Ranran 😭 it seems like SYS is supposed to fall for Ranran all over again - do we have enough time for that?
Edit - just started ep 33. lol I guess it won’t be long before SYS is in love again
This show feels like a soothing balm after a long day—a quiet kind of therapy. It is melancholic and somber, with SY always draped in black. And yet, there’s something undeniably warm and healing about it. Perhaps it’s the smoldering chemistry between the leads, the slow yet somewhat uplifting music, the beautiful sismance between ZSQ and WYF, the hidden messages behind SY's "trying to be cool but still dorky" actions and how hot SY looks in black.

I love the meaning behind the "chicken soup".
