So at the end of the day ep 16 and 17 showed how brainless the scriptwriter is by falling into the trap of lazy…
I am still giving the storyline the benefit of the doubt. Looks like there is something bigger brewing, plus we finally find out DYX's real background. I cannot wait for this Yu family arc to be over, but I am not giving up on this couple. Yes, DXY would have to do everything: beg, grovel, resign himself to celibacy until SH takes him back...but I do want them together.
That said, a little spiteful part of me want to see ShouHua end up with San Yanrang and drive DYX mad with jealousy.
Ep.17, i can’t stop crying.. it’s really sad… it’s really heartbreaking episode… i know DYX has a reason…
It seems like it is. I was already thinking that based on Madam Du's behavior when she met the minister, and then all the spoilers...I cannot wait for the reveal. Then the vile Yu gilr would have 0 percent chance or anything. Huge slap in the face instead.
Yeah, I agree, I am ok with this couple not being completely resolved for a while. DYX needs to work really hard to redeem himself with Shouhua, the Li family, and us, the audience!
You know, after DYX put SH through, I don't want DYX to get his HE so soon. It's ok that while the 4th sister's story is going on, DYX still needs to work hard to get everyone's forgiveness.
I almost don’t want them to be back together, the jerk made her suffer a lot 😭 I’m so mad at him
Yeah - as the Chinese saying goes, "He had his troubles and reasons". He needs to pass 100 tests and suffer first. Almost wants to see Shouhua agreeing to marry San Yanrang, and make DYX crazy with jealousy...
You confirmed my thoughts that perhaps DYX was Minister Yu's legitimate eldest son. Based on what Shouhua heard…
Based on a preview, it looks like Shouhua will choose to go somewhere and he goes chasing after her. I wonder if we will get proper HE for them, or while the 4th sister's story is going on, DYX still needs to work hard.
Analysis of 16 and 17 ep, this will be short Ep 16, SH is smart, she knows everything, but green tea b****h pissing…
You confirmed my thoughts that perhaps DYX was Minister Yu's legitimate eldest son. Based on what Shouhua heard from her madam Du, my mind is imagining that now.
I would love it if that turns out to be the case, then that nasty Yu girl will never have a chance. Still, I don't know how DYX is going to mend the huge rift between him, Shouhua, and the Li family. After all that he has put Shouhua through, even I am so mad at him, despite having a soft spot for all the sons-in-law. I really want to see him beg and pass 100 tests before he even has any chance with Shouhua again!
Exactly my thoughts, we're going the noble idiocy way.🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️And yes, concerning…
Wouldn't it be incredulous but awesome if it turned out that he was the legitimate eldest son of Minister Yu? Based on what Shouhua heard from her m-i-l, my mind is imagining that now. I would love it if that turns out to be the case, then that nasty Yu girl will never have a chance. Still, I don't know how DYX is going to mend the huge rift between him, Shouhua and the Li family.
Eps 16 and 17 did not have the same vibe as the previous ones - a lot more angst :(
Oh, wow, just wow—I was not expecting the story of Shouhua and DYX to go this way. I thought it was all a big scheme, but it turned out to be a real disappointment. I really hate that the show used the "noble idiocy" trope on DYX, especially when Shouhua had to suffer so much for it. I loathed one scene - I know he was remorseful and was an accident but still....
I wonder if she walked out because she was devastated that he wouldn't even be honest with her and give their relationship a chance wherever they may have to go.
To be honest, I wanted to tell Shouhua to forget DYX and go with Sang Yanrang at one point, but I am not ready to give up on this couple. The end of ep 17 implied that there is more to DYX's background so maybe things will turn around and be resolved by eps 18/19.
Can someone please share the preview links for the next episodes?
You mean 13 ep? She is doing it because the three reasons she tell him herself and the one I agree the most is…
I might have to rewatch but I think the only time he threatened a divorce was when he was pretending right in front of her. There was nothing for her to misunderstand.
Watched all 4 episodes and this show is so much fun. I was not expecting a musical component but the scenes are enjoyable. Bow really brought her A-game and I love her FL character. What a reverse harem!
Pon looks so hot and he clearly has been working out. Same goes for Deaw - too bad he’s always playing the bad guys!
The chemistry between the main couple is great so far and I cannot wait to see them get closer. Of course there will be obstacles and clingy 3rd parties but the tone of this show has been lighthearted so far so I hope it continues that way.
