24 is probably the most unique episode in the entire show so far. It's so different in tone and presents itself with much emotional depth. Watching it felt utterly surreal, like an over extended dream sequence. I really appreciate this shift in atmospherics.

I feel exactly the same way. The first (of hopefully many more) public confrontation between the Shence army and Violet Bureau. Han Ding's forces were nearby too but didn't join the fray. I think once the Shenwu and Lucong armies join in, it'll be a spectacular and climactic showdown between QZL, QY, the remnants of the past and the folks who want to marry QY. Exciting times ahead! 😀
