Unfortunately that's not always a 2 way street.

For me it's not that it has toxic elements. I can handle and enjoy a show with toxic elements if those character elements are presented as bad things the characters need to outgrow or acknowledge and make amends for. But if a show portrays toxic behavior in that outdated, early 2000's yaoi manga way that presents it as romantic and cute and excusable, then hell yeah I'm going to dish it. I don't care if it is a trope some people enjoy.

Yeah, his character this time around is pretty opportunistic and awful. Jay colluding with Lian was especially so very NOT cool.

I've been watching KP (Which I really like) and Perth plays a bit of a Himbo in that. So he seems to be getting a fair variety in his roles. And I'm just here wishing they were all silent roles. LOL

I find it pretty entertaining on MDL in general. THere are a couple of pages that are exceptions to the rule. But generally it's entertaining.

That in combination with their conversation in episode 8 where they talk a bit about Lian forcing Kuea to move in and Lian's justification is "Well would you have agreed to move in with me if I hadn't?" Like...WTF! He actually thinks subverting Kuea's will using force is justified by the fact that Kuea wouldn't have willingly submitted. It's sick!

Kuea grew up told that he was engaged to Lian. That is grooming. Period. He didnt' just suddenly get told "Hey, you're 20. Did you know you were engaged? No, he's known all along that he was Lian's intended, since before he was a legal adult. And THAT is grooming. And Lian was groomed too. That whole conversation when he was underage that gets him to commit to marrying Kuea? Yeah.

He is SUCH a sweetheart! But the actual address of gay issues blew me away. Episode 10 killed me dead.

I'm with you jjae. It's a lot to take in because there's a lot wrong with it. I've pointed out the blatant grooming several times and no one ever has a come back for that one because it's just that. Blatant.

This show is wrecking me. I am not prone to over romanticizing my appreciation for a drama. But If Tofu doesn't get his own happy ending with Nat, I will be ruined forever.

Yes, Lukchub does need to stand his ground. And he does need to ask Ram to clarify their relationship because at this point the "not-a-date" is confusing even me.

Ram really needs to stop this vague stuff. Phai is right about one thing. He is leading Lukchub on. It's not that he doesn't have feelings for him, but Ram is certainly stringing him along without cementing anything.

And I am hoping Jirachin is also not a problem. But judging how he treats his manager, I don't feel confident about him.

Agreed. Coming out is also deeply personal and not something you should have to do in order to get a job acting in a gay role.
