where di you watch them? i can only find 30 minutes of it
I understand and thank you for your reasoning. I mean I think it's fine if the producers carried on with their relationship if they were to do a follow up. Because I do ship Kikuchi and mob in the drama version LOL.

I understand that not all fans read the manga and just watch the drama. This drama is so feel good and funny so I am glad it made you feel better from all of the sad Thai BL dramas.

Sigh ok you have your own views on what you thought about the ending. I won’t contest but I am just stating my views on this.

I stand firm with it being a cliffhanger ending because I thought nothing got resolved and left myself hanging, it’s not a opened ended finish I think. If like mob confessed and Kikuchi accepted would of been a better ending.

In my view I am not really that happy that manga material has to changed for the sake of the fans. Anyway I don’t want to trash this drama special because despite everything that was changed I still was charmed by everything else.

If you can understand Japanese with no english subs, then I found all of the 4 episodes with chinese subs.

If you want English subs, you will have to wait for all the episodes to be posted weekly? (don't know I heard wetv may release all of them at once, I don't use weTV).

just a question it says here that it is 2hr long but i only see 3omins so that means it's cut into 4 episodes.?
Yes weTV split the series in 4 episodes, the Japanese boardcast was a drama special of 2 hours.

I mean please do still this drama series is really funny. There was too many funny parts I laughed out loud to. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

To my understanding each week one episode = 2 episodes in 1 For example this week VS meeting+ VS gathering = 1…
Originally this series was a original drama special of 2 hours.

WeTV have split this into 4 episodes of half an hour. Is the best way I can explain this.

Some moar thoughts. I am just as confused at the episode count. If weTV saying there's 6 episodes there might be extra content beyond the special? I'll have to wait and see.

Rewatching again, Kikuchi was SUPER CUTE and polite. Watching mob-kun confess to him while his brain was in denial was great too.

There was maybe a few easter eggs in the series, like rail track scene that other drunken guy was from pornographer and the rooftop scene looked like it was from cherry magic. Pornographer appeared a lot in manga form cameo because of the director.

So in the Manga Kikuchi was straight out rejected and never mentioned again, plus he did'nt give the chocolates (was'nt it a mob girl) nor did he take a drunken Mob-kun home. But I rethinking about it I like this twist. I am sure the watcher will like this.

Then let me know what you thought on the plot twist cliff hanger..I am in shock.
On A Man Who Defies the World of BL Mar 28, 2021
So I just watched the whole special aka 4 episodes.

I just wanted to say OMGLOL MOB-KUN NOOOOO (I was acutally yelling like no mob-kun don't fall for him!). He got a taste of his own medicine in the BL world and confessed to Kikuchi which I did'nt see coming AT ALL! God damn cliffhanger of a series, I want a sequal now!

But I guess it was to make mob less cold/heartless then in the manga. But still it was was great I hope there's a follow up to this series.
On A Man Who Defies the World of BL Mar 28, 2021
I REALLY LIKED this 1st episode. I just like the whole world of this BL setting being brought to life. The extras are acting gay as well.

Mob-kun is different in the drama version, more down to earth I think compared to the cold nonchalant version in the manga.

A shame that wetv decide to split the special rather then just posting the whole special like in the Japanese boardcast (pretty 100% sure about this seen some screenshots not from the 1st episode from Japanese users) meaning I have to wait weeks to watch the whole thing. But I am having fun.

Hmm it seems like WETV have split the special into 6 episodes, I think the Japanese boardcast was just a single special because the DVD release got announced for the 25th of June. I also saw the picture for the Japanese script saying it was just a drama special.

All well I am enjoying the 1st episode for now.

Any update on how many episodes this is gonna have?
So I've been wondering about this too snice there's only 2 volumes of the manga, and I've seen some screenshots from Japanese users on their TV guide and the guide says that the runtime for this drama is 2 hours.

Basically this is a one off drama special, it's pretty much a TV drama movie. Not 100% confirmed but I think this is a one off drama special.

But we will see when it airs on the 27th March.

Thank you so much for sharing this! I'm planning to check videos/interviews/materials present beyond the movie…
Okura, Narita and director Yukisada DID A LOT of promotion for this movie. I've translated countless other interviews that you can find on my tumblr and I still have more to post. But if you do read any of them Okura and Narita understand fully the characters and story of this particular work.

How the actual heck did they get a Johnny's for this role??
It's quite interesting how they did the casting for this movie, but in summary the screenplay writer thought of this role for Okura and because the director of this movie IS VERY WELL KNOWN (well in Japan at least) Okura was attracted to the project.

I think someone has subbed this film already. https://isaksbestpillow.tumblr.com/post/640400595977748480/eng-sub-kyuuso-wa-chiizu-no-yume-wo-miruthe
Thanks for letting us know, so now more users can watch this movie!

Thanks for expressing your views! I see that you understood the characters without the knowledge of the manga.

But yeah this movie is really deep, lots of hidden meanings. Of course this movie is'nt for everyone, so much cheating and break ups lol.

Thanks for the comment, I don't really know if this series could work as a series instead of a movie. I mean maybe but maybe it would of been better to adpat each of the manga volumes into one movie rather so have 2 movies instead of one then trying to stuff in 2 volumes of manga into a movie.

It's pretty much what Ximy said I am going to add that Imagase and Otomo attended the same university in the past.…
It's interesting for me to know the views of this movie in particular to newcomers who ha'vnt read the manga. I think for those who watched the movie who have not read the manga are going to get confused about alot of things like "what's so good about Kyouichi?" or "why did Kyouichi CHEAT on Tamaki with Imagase even though he said he did'nt need Imagase anymore?"

Kyouichi is a lot more talkative and understandable in the manga he's got some good qualites in him even though he's still a horrible person. Imagase does'nt really have any good reason that he loves Kyouichi he's gay and he likes good looking men. In the manga he does mention out some of Kyoichi's good points.

But yeah this movie version of Kyouichi is really a lot worse then the manga version.
Replying to J100 Jan 15, 2021
I watch it almost until the end that didn't released uet, without subtitles, it's started no so good( at least…
It's pretty much what Ximy said I am going to add that Imagase and Otomo attended the same university in the past. It is there that Imagase fell in love with Otomo and has had a massive crush/longing for Otomo for 8 years. So that explains the obession Imagase has for Otomo.

Both Otomo and Imagase are not trust worthy but that's in the manga to a degree. Otomo is always attracted to women and popular with them so in a way he can't refuse their advances, in the manga he always was maniulated by them rather then him looking for women to have sex with.

To make things more confusing after he breaks up with Imagase he gets engaged (to a degree) with Tamaki and almost was about to marry her until he cheats on her with Imagase. Then he breaks up with her in the end. As Okura in his interviews said Otomo is really a horrible guy lol.
