So are ruo wen and bei shuang siblings? You can put it in the spoiler tag below.
I don't believe so. SML's mother is simply from the same Masui Tribe to which FL and her family belongs to. They have similar facial features, especially the eyes. Maybe the ladies from the tribe all look similar.
SML's parents died much sooner than FL's parents... So how would they be siblings?
So wait is the SML the brother of the FL; I’m so confused. That’s what it seemed to be hinting at? I don’t…
No, I don't think so ... SML's mother has similar eyes as FL, because SML's mother is from the same Masui Tribe and apparently they have similar features.
Ep.21 SML's father to SML's mother: "Go to Masui for the Ninth Lady. She's from your tribe. She'll help."
Luo Shen Yuan is the real son of his spineless father... Why does everyone hate him? It's obvious the evil father slept with the mother on his own will or even r*ped her.
It's not Shen Yuan's fault to be born that way. So even if I understand all the other shenanigans' behaviours because they are simply bad people. Why do even grandma and Madame Lin don't care how he's treated and also treated him like sh*t before Luo Yi Ning started to care for him?
Sorry... as much as I like how grandma and Madame Lin are good to Yi Ning. This family are full of hypocrites and I have to laugh whenever anyone in there talk about "family" ...
Just finished ep 1 and I like it so far! I'm excited, so I had to stop by before binge-watching the next episodes 😂
The production seems top notch and their REAL voices! Gosh, I love real voices hahaha It elevates CDramas for me instantly. Good dubbing or no dubbing at all are the best!
Zhang Wan Yi is on fire lately—he's been in so many dramas back to back and I’ve watched most of them, yet I still can’t get enough. He's a really good actor and his voice is so soothing. I think I could hear him talk 24/7 haha
Thanks for sharing your insight regarding the OG version and remake version. I am actually planning to check out…
If you're a fan of Steven's acting, then "Go Ahead" is a must-watch for you 😊 While he doesn't end up with FL, he still is a ML regardless and his character is actually my fave in the drama. So he doesn't lose out for not having a love-line. His character and story are compelling enough 😊
I don't see much difference between this and the original version so far. If i really have to choose i like the…
Really? I see and feel so many differences 😂 But not per se bad, just different. Well, it would be boring if they just copy and paste it 1:1, right?
Honestly, I would’ve liked to see a romance line for He Zi Qiu, even though it wouldn’t have fit with the core of his character in the original. But in this version, I think it actually works for Hae Jun's character, especially since he was already dating in high school.
As the Original "Go Ahead" is an incredibly popular drama, especially on MDL, the comparisons are and will be inevitable. So pardon, but kindly live with it lol
I'm a big fan of the original too, so I can’t help but draw comparisons. That said, I’m keeping an open mind and try not to nitpick about everything 😂
The first two episodes were solid and well-made, especially the first one. I really loved the child versions of the characters. As they’ve grown up, the vibe and essence of the characters feel very different from the original, not per se in a bad way. Different, yet still interesting.
In this version, they have a more ordinary sibling dynamic, while the ML clearly distances himself from being seen as 'just' family because he already has romantic feelings for the FL. I think the KDrama will lean more into the romcom genre, whereas the original focused heavily on the family aspect. I expected that shift, given that KDramas usually emphasize romance more. It’s a different focus, but I’m excited to see where it goes!
For those who find longer Chinese dramas hard to digest, this will be a great watch. But I still highly recommend checking out the original one day 😊
In ep2, Hae Jun let Ju Won apologize. Screenwriter, you must be kidding!
I was surprised too. Maybe they did that to let ML shine…
However, the original version would never. For He Zi Qiu, his sister was everything—he held her and her father in the highest regard and his loyalty was unmatched. He would always stand by her side and do anything for her.
His family was his entire world. That was the core of his character. Here they are taking a different direction for his character.
I still like it, but it's clear they’re going for a more typical sibling dynamic here, rather than the unique and deep bond they had in the original.
I really loved the first episode! It was well made and the child actors were perfect. Little actress is really so so adorable and I couldn't have imagined a better child actress for her. I also like the cast of the parents very much. First episode was perfect imo!
But I struggled a bit with the second episode, but that's because I did watch the Original and there is one change that I'm disappointed about. FL's character as she grew older. Yeah, I know I shouldn't compare and I'm sorry... I actually liked everything except for the fact, that they changed FL a lot. The essence of her original character, even the one she had when she was little in the Korean version, is quite different.
The fun in her character in the Original was, that she grew up with 4 males around her and that influenced her character and appearance a lot. She was quite tomboyish, a troublemaker, straight-forward, quirky and knew how to fight for herself. I'm not yet sold on FL...
But it were solid first two episodes. Let's see where this goes :)
I watched the first episode. Personally, I think it's okay. The first hour was adapted generally well. Some minor…
omg yes! Just my thoughts... I know we shouldn't compare, but I just can't help it either 😅
Especially the non-existent development between the fathers is a bummer to me as I also really, really loved the deep, funny and wholesome conversations they have in the Original.
I will still watch further, because it just has been 2 episodes. I think I have to restrain my mindset to not compare while watching lol
This was a great drama overall, but I’m not that satisfied with the ending. Most villains had their easy way out.
Jeong Woo suffered so much injustice and grievance for 11 years, therefore the villains should have suffered more, but most didn’t. None of them showed an ounce of guilt towards him or their crimes. And the real murderers just died without being punished for their crimes.
Jeong Woo was too pitiful from beginning til end. He was too good of a person and incredibly patient, that it frustrated me in comparison to the amount of shameless villains we had lol
Did he even get any kind of compensation for the unjust sentence and lost time? We don't know.

She literally tried to kill people, girl!

And I really do like him with Park Dal 😊

But still... worth to watch and great acting! :)
I really liked the leads in NGNL, but here... not so much lol
Weird, but I really like the actors and their acting :)
So many weird people out there lol
