Some said Yueqin killed his brother, but in fact, he didn’t really kill him and just wanted the throne to have…
He didn't even flinch when the brother was killed. I'm pretty sure he knew exactly that would happen. Not saying that the brother was innocent, but it's a fact that YQ joined hands with shaman lady who killed her own sister, so that he can be the heir and can force Mei Lin to marry him...
I know some miss Jing He's maniac character from the earlier episodes, but I totally see the young and bright character he had as a boy in the latest village scenes. Warms my heart that he is able to be bright and carefree like that again. I'm scared of what is to come ...
Murong Jing He being domestic is the hottest thing ever! Him sitting there with a flower in his mouth, sewing and keeping an eye on Mei Lin is just so attractive lol
They are so cute doing farmwork together ... my gosh I love this couple so much hahaha
This drama is so so good!!!!! I confess, I tend to skip quite a bit while watching dramas nowadays, but this.. NO! I love every second of this. Nothing is boring. How much I've waited for a drama that has me on the edge all the time and crave for more again lol
I really like this drama, but I would enjoy it much more if I was full onboard with the romance lol It’s so weird that I actually like Yi Ning more with Lu Jia Xue or even prefer her without a love-line haha XD
Sry, but I think the writers did the romance in this drama a big disservice for keeping Yi Ning and Shen Yuan on siblings term for so long.
Their scenes with romantic background music, glances and occasional skinship, just feels weird to me, since Yi Ning still believes he is her blood-brother. I mean their romantic attraction to each other has to be already there, if they will develop romantic feelings later on. And that thought kinda irks me somehow…
Why didn’t they reveal the truth to Yi Ning much sooner? I would’ve easily shipped them romantically, but the more episodes I watch, the weirder I feel about them lol
Ep.16 Shen Yuan: "Even if it were really him, I don't think you'd have the heart to be cruel. Although he has many faults and has disappointed you greatly. a father is still a father after all." ._.
WTF?!?! This sentence really threw me off. So if the father would've indeed killed Yi Ning's mother, he would still be a father?! No, he would be a fkn murderer!! And he never acted like a father to begin with. Even to Shen Yuan, he never was, so I'm just here shaking my head...
Normalize cutting blood-related people out of your life if they mistreat you or maybe even kill your mother...
Sorry, but Asian dramas and their condoning and trivializing evil parents and blood-related peoples behaviours is getting worse day by day! 🙈
Murong Xuan Lie is so evil... Horrible how they disfigured that poor young boy. And that he even thanked the CP wholeheartedly right before he was cruelly killed by him. That scene was really disturbing to watch...
Ep. 12 made me fee so so so disappointed in Mei Lin... I felt so bad for Murong Jing He especially when he picked up the painting he drew of her, which she threw crumbled away in the water. Phew, that was just harsh....
Sry, but I hope Mei Lin regrets so much for not trusting him and treating him like that. I loved every episode, but ep. 12 left me in pieces. He looked so sad and on the verge of crying when she told him that he can stop pretending that he loves her... My poor puppy ... really didn't deserve that :(
Yi Ning and Lu Jia Xue have sizzling tension :D Tho I know they're not endgame, I really enjoy the few scenes they had until now. They would be good leads with an interesting backstory. But then again, we have enough revenge/enemies to lovers tropes lately haha
It seems they did like each other equally in the past but due to a misunderstanding Yi Ning thinks he wanted to kill her. Must has been a jealous lady, who likes Lu Jia Xue, who fabricated that lie and tried to kill her on that cliff.
Since Yi Ning is still on "sibling" terms with Shen Yuan, it's really hard to ship them right now. Shen Yuan obviously already likes her romantically, but he knows that she is not his sister, so okay. But she also has some questionable reactions to interactions with him... And that's making me slightly uncomfortable since she still believes he is her blood brother. I really hope they reveal it soon to her or else this is getting weird...
But Yue Qin still acts like he is righteous while doing all that. Shameless lol
