This show has given me the confidence to finally start writing because if these writers can have their work turned into a drama ("published") then anyone can succeed no matter how bad they are.
Thank you writer-nims for giving me the confidence to just go for it regardless of the quality of my work 🤣
I don't think she's the killer either, never have. I knew there was something off about her ever since like the…
She's always been suspicious from the start cause she clearly didn't want to do the work so... why are you here? I'm still suspicious if she's ML mom because of her attitude and constant make up routine like the flashbacks of his mom. The lady at the end seemed kind of scared of the intern in the photo which makes me think maybe she was involved with drug dealers or something.
I still feel like there's a major piece of information that hasn't been revealed yet that ties everything together cause right now I feel like we haven't really gotten any conclusive evidence but I feel like the killer has to be someone we have met or in their near circle.
The former cop intern is still my biggest suspect right now. For shock value and makes sense how he has acess to drugs. Him knowing about the Parkinson's and kind of helping the case along seems a little suspicious to me too. And also why does a former cop want to do custodial work there as an intern? He has his retiree pay so he doesnt need the money and could volunteer doing other stuff. But if that theory is true that rules out the female intern being involved with him and she's someone he doesn't remember or something else.
We also are unclear how ML mom ties into all of this which im guessing is going to be the final missing puzzle piece because we know now why FL aunt dipped out. Doesn't look like the next episode is going to tell us that though. I think this weekend seems to be focused on her secret coming in the way of their romantic relationship. But I also feel like the ML needs to find out so she can finally tell him everything she knows and he can start putting it all together. This show is def a bit of a rollar coaster.

The last 15 minutes of the episode were great, finally got some action and everything coming together again but the rest was .... slow and filler.
We already knew the doctor wasn't the killer so the first half of the episode wasn't all that interesting. The forced love triangle thing between the ML and female prosecutor feels unneeded, Aal it does is make the FL jealous which causes her to act insecure and immature. Once again this writing makes the FL character kinda... annoying throughout the drama.
Maybe this guy is finally going to put it together? Idk, but im tired of only seeing the romance develop at night. Also feel like they could have written so much more about the murders and missing women instead of this romance filler nonsense.
Everyone convinced now that the female intern is the killer is convincing me she's not the killer. I think she just gets the drugs for the killer, an accomplice. If she's the killer then everyones already figured it out and kinda kills the rest of the show tbh. She just looks too small and weak (and clearly doesnt like physical labor). The killer is someone who hacks up bodies so idk I think the killer is a man she is working with.
There are just so many things that could be writen better and i'm still convinced SML is somehow tied to the drugs and killer.
If she was uncomfortable, she wouldn’t use him when needed. He knows her identity and she is comfy with that.…
She wants to find the culprit so she isnt murdered?!?! And he knows her secret so she can investigate fully without worrying about her identity being revealed. It has nothing to do with her wanting to be around him.
She only was with him at the end cause she found out he was hiding something from her, not because she was really seeking him out. This is literally life or death to her. She wants to find the culprit so she can move on with her life.
9 minutes in and genuinely if people are still fans of the SML then ... idk what to say. The fact she clearly told him he is making her uncomfortable and he is just laughing like "well you dont have to like me, but im not going to stop" and "well i think youre cute and eventually youll become attracted to me at least". This is creepy and entitled behavior and the director trying to make it cute/funny is just weird.
Why are we wasting time on this weird relationship (for lack of a better word). I swear he better be related to the killer or something because this is just unnecessary if not.
no idea to be honest, partially was covid. it was supposed to release during that period in 2020 i believe but it was pushed because of that and then just kept being pushed. im also assuming because they needed a time window to promote it with all the actors and all the actors have been busy with other projects and bogum was in the military. there is a lot of red tape involved in making and promoting a movie
Maybe an AI-generated world feels visually limited compared to the rich, multi-dimensional reality we experience.…
I actually think the visuals and graphics were decent, but yeah there was a lack of depth and complexity in the plot and direction of the movie. But more specifically in the real world, not the ai world. They made the real world seem... like the fake world which i think is why a lot of people didn't enjoy this. They didn't explain or show much of what was going on in the real world and didn't really explain wonderland at all. A lot of people were left with questions about all the characters.
This movie just feel sort of .... freaky to me and I couldn't figure out why until I realized that this just doesn't feel real? It feels very dystopian and not in a good way.
Outside of the interactions between the ai characters and their loved ones, we genually see nothing of what is going on in the outside world. The most we get is yumi and wooshiks characters eating at a restaurant talking about work or her ai parents. And its like the ai world is almost just as real because of how they film and treat it. It's ja little freaky to me and weirds me out, which may partially be the point?
I think this would be good if they had only focused on suzy and bogums characters. I geuinely felt like that acting and writing was the most natural and pleasent to watch with them. Also it had a lot of depth since he is alive again so he exists in the real world and ai world creating more depth and what is real vs what is not and have we gone too far? When I watch any of the characters besides suzy and bogum it just feels so wrong. All I can think watching this movie is this just seems so wildly mentally unhealthy, borderline insane in some ways. The way they make the ai people able to actually constantly call and talk as if they are still alive is just... trippy.
Also touching on the ignoring society outside these characters issue, why is the AI science never really explained? That too just seems ... weird in a way, like they are trying to be a Star Trek style sci-fi where we just accept this technology exists with no explanation. How can these ai characters, who aren't real, have flashbacks/dream of their real life and geuine mental health and personality issues. How did the company even start? What is the background of yumis character more? So many things just... not explained at all making it hard to really get into the movie and characters.

I'm confident that those letters are about the cleaner intern, not Lim Sun. Ko Won, knowing that Lim Sun is actually…
the female lead is literally using her aunts real name and identity though.... her name was in the papers and photo and even that one lady mistook her for her aunt because everyone says they look identical. part of the whole reason she took her idenity was because everyone said they look so similar. and nobody has seen the aunt in 20 years so nobody would recognize her anyways tbh. people assume shes dead so nobody is going to recognize her. its why i also keep wondering if the cleaning lady is somehow her aunt but im doubting it.
also where she lives is kinda seperate from the mayors office area , the people are different, thats why shes able to get away with using her aunts real name, so her aunt could be hiding out in a surrounding suburb. if her aunt is alive she is def going to make a return in this show imo.
i 100% think your theory could be right though. im honestly 50/50 now because like i said nobody outside of her aunt could know her identity is fake at this point and it would be a great plot twist for once in this show to make it about the other lady who is super suspicious. she took this job but doesnt want to work. i personally still am kind of agreeing with everyone that she could be the MLS mom still/
Yeah right now im most suspicious of the intern even though he is super friendly. He seemed adament the doctor wasnt the one who murdered the other intern and serial killers are notorious for not wanting other people to take credit for their work. He's also still pretty healthy and fit so him outrunning the ML is somewhat reasonable. Plus as a retired cop he knows drug dealers so can find a source for the drugs he uses on his victims.
I'm fairly certain the person writing the letters to the mayor about her fake identity is the missing Aunt. We know its a female leaving the notes and realistically the only person left at this point who knows the identity must be fake is the aunt.
The killer saw her in her younger form, Lee Mijin, and wrote that name on his board. So he is most likely only stalking the younger girl. And the female intern has no reason to stalk the older female and the chances of seeing her change are very low. The doctor was having her stalked and they didn't even put together or even imagine the two women are the same and magically change into eachother. So realistically...
The only person who can possibly know the identity is stolen is the Aunt herself. The question to me is, is she the female intern (though some signs are saying thats the male leads mom -flippant attitude and always doing make up) or is she hiding in town somewhere but saw the newspaper post about "herself" and was like ??? someone stole my identity.
This is one of my issues with the show and I also think why a lot of people got the 2nd lead syndrome last week…
Yeah it seems like the writers finally joined the romance and murder plots back together this weekend but the trailer for next week has me worried that next saturday is going to be a bit of filler.
It looks like we are going to get her being jealous at the office of him and the other female prosecutor. Another misunderstanding/jealousy thing which the writers for some reason think is a cute filler but has gotten old at this point. And another case of her parents catching her in her older form which im like are the parents going to find out? I wonder if its going to be literally everyone finds out except the male guy which he's so logical and not out of the box thinking that it kinda makes sense but also kinda frustrating from a romance perspective cause we see her more as the older lady than younger.
I'm convinced the idol guy is connected to the killer somehow because if not his role in the show is completely pointless. Also he has the drug problem and we know that the killer has access to drugs somehow. Outside of getting those letters (which idk why he hasnt said anything to her about tbh) his only purpose so far has been to help search for the cat and cause misunderstandings btw the leads which is just dumb cause its a romance drama so we know the leads end up together.
I wish ko won ends up being the killer just because that would be so different and unique, and it would fit perfectly…
The killer in the past and present is the same one. He's not old enough. But i think he's connected to the drugs or killer somehow. Or else his character is completely pointless.
I'm now thinking the killer is the cleaning lady ahjumma. She's kinda sus. But statistics say it should be a man.
I'm sus of all the interns and the 2 police guys caues the killer has to be someone who had a reason to kill that male intern. That guy must have heard or seen something he wasn't supposed to and that's why he was killed. Cause the killer's pattern was always female, not male. Which means he was killed to be silenced.
Thank you writer-nims for giving me the confidence to just go for it regardless of the quality of my work 🤣
The lady at the end seemed kind of scared of the intern in the photo which makes me think maybe she was involved with drug dealers or something.
I still feel like there's a major piece of information that hasn't been revealed yet that ties everything together cause right now I feel like we haven't really gotten any conclusive evidence but I feel like the killer has to be someone we have met or in their near circle.
