I just saw American Typewriter and decided to find another drama with go kyung pyo... And BAM there was kim seo…
Do you mean ‘Chicago Typewriter’? That show is indeed amazing! Still makes me cry till this day.

Person Kim Seon Ho
Does anyone know if he's guested in any other variety shows besides Amazing saturday? And does anyone know if…
Nah. All the variety shows he’s participated in are as listed here. But you might want to check his radio guestings. He got quite a few mostly for his plays’ promotions .

Person Lee Sang Yoon
I really don’t quite get it. Lee Sang Yoon left All the Butlers/Master in the House to focus on his acting career but he didn’t have much on his plate for 2020-2021. Makes me wonder what his real reason was for leaving such a great show.

I really loved the show but couldn’t finish this as shows like this that showcase infidelity and home wrecking are devastating to me.
Would I recommend this? Yes.
Would I finish this? I don’t think so.

May this serve as a warning to people who have similar issues like myself.

P.S. I came primarily for Lee Sang Yoon but his acting here is underwhelming. I just didn’t connect with his emotions at times. Nonetheless, he did great in exhibiting chemistry with all the women involved.
On When My Love Blooms Mar 11, 2021
This is not for everyone but to those who enjoy slow burn and emotional dramas, you might want to try this. Cinematography is brilliant and the cast displayed stellar acting despite the limited areas for expression. I really enjoyed it. It was refreshing for someone who’s been watching fast-paced and “noisy” dramas. This is the “calm” that I’ve been yearning for.

Title Start-Up Spoiler
Put this drama on the waiting list due to the negative comments & honestly a bit pissed at how misleading they…
I respect your opinion and I kinda agree. However, while watching the drama as it aired, my peers and I all thought that those who’d watch it as ‘completed’ already, would never appreciate the thrill, confusion, and all other conundrums while watching it as an on-going drama. The baits for HJP that were laid out by the writer and director, especially in the teasers and promotional posts, including the IG posts of the staff and cast, were just too much that one would think that he has a mighty chance after all.

True enough, those people I know who watched it belatedly rarely got confused as to who ends up with whom. The thrill is gone, the spark is no longer there.

But honestly though, most HJP supporters didn’t really care about JiDal like in the midway of the series. Most just accepted the fact that the rational and logical choice would be him, but then again, we’re not Dalmi. Dalmi clearly likes Dosan already. No space for HJP in her heart. What they wanted is a good closure for the character as his story obviously carried the drama since ep 1.

I can't speak for all but I rated this drama 6, not because Dalmi ended up with Dosan. I rated it so because they…

I think he kinda fits the role, has the big body build that actually makes sense that he is super strong unlike…
One things’s for sure— we’re in for a huge swooning with new Ondal and Pyeonggang. Gonna reconsider my second lead train as it seems like main leads have better chemistry now.

I also liked the idea of Kwak Dong Yeon, but Na In Woo has already been cast. I'm not familiar with him, but people…
Kwak Dong Yeon actually played the teen version of Lee Sang Yeob in Jang Ok Jung: Live in Love (2013) whose role was a Prince, but KDY only had a very few scenes.

I have a hard time seeing someone else playing the same character cause I associate the character with a face,…
That route would have been easier but sadly, this series is based on a very popular Gugoryeo folktale so it’s very hard to tweak the story as it’s deeply ingrained in the Korean culture. Replacing the ML was really the best option they got.

Sadly, i already got the SLS bug. Sorry, Jisoo.
Should we be thankful for choosing the SLS train over Jisoo now? ?

This drama is like a valley. The first part was a very explosive beginning, but the middle part sunk very low then maintained the monotony only to bring it up again at the last third of the series.

Although I still consider this a masterpiece, a huge part of me still thinks the story could have been condensed into 20eps max.
There was a lot of fillers in the middle that I almost dropped the drama as my interest depleted as the episode progressed.
Thankfully the writer introduced a great turn towards the end which totally made up for the boring middle.
On River Where the Moon Rises Mar 2, 2021
A very big asset of this drama apart from its stellar cast and cinematography—- is the pacing. It still amazes me how the stories are quickly moving but still manages to elaborately show the hows, whats, and whys.
A great 1st quarter indeed. Here’s to hoping it will remain awesome till the finale.

Title Love Alarm Spoiler
I've watched love alarm and still don't understand why jojo dumped sun oh. Can anyone help me out here?
Jojo broke up with him because of materialized fear. She was severely traumatized as a child due to her parents’ death and most of the people around her then accused her of being the reason. You know how superstitious the older korean generations are. They’d believe to the core that one who’s been in a series of unfortunate events— is actually damned because of bad luck/ill fate and will affect people around them as well.

That’s how she grew up—hearing stories that she has a very bad luck plastered on her and she’ll cause i-ll fate or bad luck as well to those surrounding her. She actually fought hard to disprove her relatives but the accident made her change her mind. She let go of SunOh before it’s too late. She was scared that her bad luck will rub on SunOh as well considering how he almost died because he was with her. She’d rather be alone than harm her loved ones (her Aunt is poor in debt because of Jojo’s parents— an evidence for Jojo that she indeed is a source of bad luck).

Being a kim nam gil fan and especially after watching fiery priest I 100 percent agree with you . I was so disappointed…
Oh gosh, thank you! I’m also a fan of KNG that I was sooo grateful that he nailed The Fiery Priest. At least I could bury this project of his to oblivion.

I think all the phone calls are tapped in north korea... So if she calls to south korea then the north korean…
Seri was too estranged from her family to even know their mobile numbers by heart. Also, she didn’t feel the need to memorize her employees’ phone numbers pre-accident as well so she couldn’t really call anyone in South Korea even if she borrows the burner phone of Sungjun and his assistant.
