is there have any change to come moon lovers session 2?
Let’s not get our hopes up as all the cast became extremely popular. Their schedule is on fire. It might be hard for the production crew to settle everyone’s personal schedules for a reunion season.
I’ve watched this just a month ago and I could no longer remember the romantic scenes that were shared by the FL and ML. The things that lasted in my memory though were the awesome storytelling of how Historians work behind the scenes, the great sceneries when they went to Pyeongyang, and how amazing Lee Ji Hoon’s and the Crown Prince’s characters were.
This definitely is a breath of fresh air. It’s edited in a way that it’s pleasant to the eyes. Feels like spring and summer in every episode.
It is unfortunate that KSH doesn't seem to like this show :( If you read his interviews, he seldom ever talks…
Really? I thought he liked CTG so much that he even used his CTG behind the scene photo as his Kakao talk profile picture for almost a year since the show ended.
Can someone tell me what the writer was thinking when they wrote out SFL?? It started out as a cold hearted detective…
IKR. The Writer did Ma Ri dirty. She was my favorite on the show. I just felt like the Writer wanted to push Ji Seok and Yoo Ryung so much that she had to set Ma Ri aside, in a cruel way/ :(
Nonetheless, I’m still satisfied with the ending, just not the loveline.
Honestly, despite how cute they were, I would have wanted that there wasn’t any romance between them. Maintaining a senior-junior relationship would have fit better. But that’s only my personal take.
What a very clever writing and stellar acting! This, people, is how a drama should be. The amalgamation of all the top ingredients turned this into a masterpiece.
I may have boarded a different romantic ship but the ending satisfied me nonetheless. The FL’s character still doesn’t sit well with me and I kinda feel bad that she ended up with the show’s greatest character.
Overall, what matters is that the issues were all resolved and the story arcs were well-delivered. Makes me question why this drama didn’t receive the hype that it deserved. All thanks to SeonHo’s skyrocketing popularity, this show has been given another chance to prove how well-done it is.
P.S. To my favorite character, Ma Ri. I am rooting for you! You are not alone, sweetie. You’ve done great and will continue to prove to everyone your brilliance and competence.
Unpopular opinion: I don’t understand all the praises for Shin hye sun’s acting. I understand it is supposed…
You’re not alone! I guess it gets better as the show progresses because you would get used to her acting and would eventually appreciate it. As for me, it really took me a while to laugh on her scenes as it felt contrived.
I may be in the minority on this one but I did not really enjoy the comical part of this drama. The humor was off for me, especially at the start. It just got better in the later episodes. Perhaps because I’m a fan of serious sageuks like Six Flying Dragons and the like that it was hard to get used to the funny scenes here. Nonetheless, I still found the show enjoyable for the most part although it would have been better wrapped up at 16 episodes. The last 2 episodes were very refreshing too as I feel stuffed already with the palace scenes. Watching great sceneries made up for all of my nitpicking.
Overall, it’s a pretty good show. I just didn’t understand the hype. I can’t seem to relate for some reason.
Does anyone know if he's guested in any other variety shows besides Amazing saturday? And does anyone know if…
Nah. All the variety shows he’s participated in are as listed here. But you might want to check his radio guestings. He got quite a few mostly for his plays’ promotions .
I really don’t quite get it. Lee Sang Yoon left All the Butlers/Master in the House to focus on his acting career but he didn’t have much on his plate for 2020-2021. Makes me wonder what his real reason was for leaving such a great show.
I really loved the show but couldn’t finish this as shows like this that showcase infidelity and home wrecking are devastating to me. Would I recommend this? Yes. Would I finish this? I don’t think so.
May this serve as a warning to people who have similar issues like myself.
P.S. I came primarily for Lee Sang Yoon but his acting here is underwhelming. I just didn’t connect with his emotions at times. Nonetheless, he did great in exhibiting chemistry with all the women involved.
This is not for everyone but to those who enjoy slow burn and emotional dramas, you might want to try this. Cinematography is brilliant and the cast displayed stellar acting despite the limited areas for expression. I really enjoyed it. It was refreshing for someone who’s been watching fast-paced and “noisy” dramas. This is the “calm” that I’ve been yearning for.
Put this drama on the waiting list due to the negative comments & honestly a bit pissed at how misleading they…
I respect your opinion and I kinda agree. However, while watching the drama as it aired, my peers and I all thought that those who’d watch it as ‘completed’ already, would never appreciate the thrill, confusion, and all other conundrums while watching it as an on-going drama. The baits for HJP that were laid out by the writer and director, especially in the teasers and promotional posts, including the IG posts of the staff and cast, were just too much that one would think that he has a mighty chance after all.
True enough, those people I know who watched it belatedly rarely got confused as to who ends up with whom. The thrill is gone, the spark is no longer there.
But honestly though, most HJP supporters didn’t really care about JiDal like in the midway of the series. Most just accepted the fact that the rational and logical choice would be him, but then again, we’re not Dalmi. Dalmi clearly likes Dosan already. No space for HJP in her heart. What they wanted is a good closure for the character as his story obviously carried the drama since ep 1.
