Episodes 11 and 12 were supposed to air Monday and Tuesday last week, but were delayed four days because they needed to be re-edited and re-dubbed in both Chinese and Thai. From this week onward we're back to the normal schedule with one episode on Monday and one on Tuesday.

I don't care what Zi Yu's personal orientation is, I just enjoy his performance, along with all the other leads in this series, and I'm super happy that those four were cast because they're doing a very good job.

Most actors who play in BLs are not out LGBTQ. It's a job. Zi Yu auditioned for this role twice in order to get it, so it's not like he was forced to do it. It was his own choice.

Yes, ITSAY was in the ocean, though I think all the others were in swimming pools. And it makes sense that SKAM got its inspiration from somewhere, but I think it was the first BL to do it, and I kind of see all the subsequent ones as tributes to SKAM (although some of them may just have jumped on a trend without knowing about SKAM at all).

There have been underwater kiss scenes in a number of other BLs since SKAM. Notably Why R U, Dark Blue Kiss, I Told Sunset About You, We Best Love, Oxygen, KinnPorsche, The Eclipse, Two Worlds. (Yes, I've kept a list, lol). There may be others that I haven't watched.

Interestingly, I haven't seen it spread the same way in het dramas. My theory is that underwater kissing symbolises love that cannot be out in the open, and can only be fully expressed out of the public eye. So being underwater kind of symbolises that "taboo" nature of same-sex love.

Smh. It's okay to feel differently about things, but personally, if I don't enjoy something I simply don't rate it at all. I would only rate something so low if it was truly an irredeemably offensive piece of garbage, in every respect. But for something simply not being my cup of tea, I will just drop it and walk away. This whole attitude that there's some kind of war between BL of different countries feels so silly and immature to me.

This is the difference between real life and fiction 😂 I would also go crazy and need my personal space and alone time, but in romance I like this kind of obsession for some reason. Maybe it's because there's absolutely no doubt about how he feels or what he wants, and the (theoretical) idea of someone wanting you that much is very flattering and confidence-boosting?
