Chengyu and Xiaoshuai- I like how CY not so subtly confirmed XS doesn't want him moving on from him yet, and how…
Great reflections! Personally, I think Yue Yue was pretty bad for WSW, most of his development (emotional and otherwise) has come about because of his obsession with revenge forcing him to step up, and then because of his process of self-discovery with JXS as his (albeit scheming) friend and the relationship with CC. (He's in far over his head, but he didn't know that when he started, lol.) Yue Yue took his hard-earned money and then left him because he was a loser, she never loved him, just saw him as a convenience. CC is verrrry different, he has no problems showing his attraction and affection, and he has no motives beyond that. That must be a big confidence boost for WSW, even if he has a hard time accepting the attentions of a man, and even though he is wracked by guilt over his dishonesty and bad intentions in the beginning.
When they hurt after sex and can't even move or walk... That's just so lame and childish writing haha what is…
We're not talking about the vagina, we're talking about anal sex, which should not differ *that* much between the sexes. Except for the surrounding anatomy where guys have a prostate and women don't.

Yep, same. Uncomfortable, yes; unbearable, no; painful, no. And no pain the next day. But judging by the testimonies by guys in this thread, it might be different for women. Perhaps women have more anatomical room for adjustment? Or maybe women are just more accustomed to the idea and practice of being on the receiving end. Or maybe we just had more considerate partners...

Yeah if you do it right it doesn't hurt at all. And Chi Cheng should have enough experience to know how to do it right. This is just a female fantasy about "wrecking" a guy's a*** that's kind of distasteful tbh
will this series have a happy ending? Most of the Chinese BLs end up with a sad finish. I don't want to watch…
It's based on a novel with a happy ending and the author herself is producing and wrote the script for the series, and it doesn't have to comply in any way with the rules imposed on series that air in China, so it's *highly* unlikely that the ending will be sad.
If it's important, why not say what it's about for those who don't have facebook
I think this is mostly directed towards the Chinese fans since it specifically mentions sharing things on Weibo. We're probably okay if we're outside China and not using Chinese social media.
I felt like those who don't follow the drama and watch this when it finish airing will never understand the emotional…
Yeah, I really would love to binge this, but despite the gruelling wait for next week's episodes I've actually enjoyed the buzz as well, and the communal fandom madness (or at least most of it, lol)
My theory is some who were watching it gave low scores due to the show unexpectedly not being aired on Monday…
Yeah, I don't rule out that there may be some fans who did that out of misplaced anger. And you're right that I'm not one of them, my rating remains what it always was. My doubts about this being the main cause for the drop is that many other dramas experienced the same drop in ratings (between 0.3 and 0.4 points), all of them BL dramas, as far as we know now. So it's likely to be due either to previously inflated ratings by fake accounts dropping when those accounts were deleted, or to malicious downvoting also by mostly fake accounts. The drop did come after the pause announcement, but it also came shortly after the rating reached 9.0, and people were talking about it on social media. If it's the former, I expect that we'll see a sudden rise in the ratings now that the series is resuming and is airing the episodes on unscheduled days so that the normal airing schedule won't be affected.
First time Cn BL? They do have a big difference to other BLs tbh. That feeling of; why is the build up and moments…
Yes, it's true, the Chinese censorship rules say no intimacy shown below the neck even for het romance dramas. So kissing and hugging is okay, but nothing else, really. And there are even het romance dramas that only have DFKs or obscured fake kisses. The dangai (censored danmei adaptations) didn't even have that, so they had to be a lot more subtle and show the progression in other ways.
I hope what you're tied up with is something fun or worthwhile, at least! Otherwise that really sucks :(
