Yeah there's obviously malicious downvoting going on. Probably by bots or new, empty accounts. But it would be better if the MDL admins looked it over and removed the malicious downvotes. If we start doing the same (malicious downvoting), then we might be the ones ending up having our accounts blocked haha (and for good reason)

You need to work on your reading comprehension. I never once said not to call out toxic behaviour in Thai fans. Quite the opposite in fact. I was trying to advocate against hate, not defend any toxic behaviour of the fans. But you'd rather block me than actually read what I said...

And I don't owe you my silence :) But that's fine, I don't enjoy interacting with haters.

So what is the difference between you and those fans, just spreading hate on something they don't like? Do you just want an excuse to be a hater? It's all a matter of opinion and preference. If you don't like it, just leave it be. Call out the toxic behaviour, sure. But if you're being toxic about it yourself, you're a pot calling the kettle black.

Some Thai BLs are like that, but not all of them. Let's not judge all Thai BLs because some of them are crap and because some of the fans are cray-cray. Let's not lower ourselves to their level. I like BL from different countries, I see no need to go to war over which one is best and which one sucks. We all have our own preferences, let's just squee together when we can and let each other be when we can't.

No, there are many BL roles done by established actors in Japan. Maybe not top tier super famous actors, but they're definitely not all rookies.

Yeah, the way they've handled this so far is really infuriating. Why the late notification? Why so incredibly uninformative? It's like they *wanted* the fandom to explode with fear and anxiety and wild speculation. The only explanation I can think of is that there are some kind of negotiations going on behind locked doors that they're not allowed to tell us about, but it's still infuriating.

It's filmed in China with Chinese actors and a Chinese crew, so it is pretty much Chinese, regardless of whichever overseas production company they may or may not have partnered with.
