The HK remake had a major hype but the audience measurement wasn't as good as the PR suggested, and it was exactly…
Yes, I agree, the HK remake was basically the original, but in Cantonese. At least the Thai adaptation of Cherry Magic was very thoughtfully adapted to the Thai setting and culture, and even though it was pretty different from the Japanese LA, it was still a very good adaptation of the source material. But OL is an original script (not based on a manga) so it will be interesting to see how they deal with that!
We're in the exact same boat. I neither loved nor hated the first season but absolutely loved this season (that…
Yes, exactly! I admit that Kurosawa even creeped me out a bit in the OG series, but here he was just hilarious and surprisingly relatable. It's like all the characters were so much more well-written this time around. There was still the trademark chaotic OL humour and crazy shenanigans, but the characters had much more depth.
Holaaa, una pregunta, es necesario haber visto la película para entender está serie o puedo verla directamente?…
I never watched the movie but I enjoyed this a lot anyway. It will probably give you more backstory, but it's not necessary to understand what is going on. All the important backstory is in the original series.
This is the Ossan's Love sequel that turned me from a OL disliker to a big fan. I've always struggled with the original series (I watched both that and the HK remake) and never warmed up to it. The only reason I watched this was because I was in a watchparty... and by the second episode I found myself loving it. They've managed to keep everything that was good in the OG series, and removed or improved on everything else. And they made Maki and Haruta into total icons. We so rarely get to see an established couple (in any romance, but especially in BL) that are so comfortable and relaxed with each other, and who operate on total trust and commitment, ready to give each other the benefit of the doubt and face any problems together. But that's exactly what Ossan's Love Returns gave us. I know they set up a milestone for BL with the original series, but I feel like they've set up another one with this amazing sequel.
i’m a little late to updates about the shows. but if i remember the mock trailer had gemini and forth as well.…
It's likely because they became really popular after MSP and there was a risk that they would overshadow Milk and Love despite only being side characters. Or perhaps GMMTV simply decided that they could put them to better use by giving them lead roles instead of supporting roles.
Is "Forbidden Gout Temps Nouveau" spin-off geo-blocked? It dissapeard from my page, I can only acces it from this…
It seems to be playable only in the app, not on the Gaga website. I've tried both on my tablet and my laptop, to no avail. But I could play it fine in the android app. I've left a comment about it on their Twitter post, so hopefully they'll fix it.
sapphic is an umbrella term! she talked about liking girls on two occasions
Thank you for the clarification. Is there also a corresponding term for mlm where someone identifying as male expresses interest in other males? English is not my main language so I might be unaware of some terms.
On chickengege dot org. You will have to jump through some serious hoops to access it because people keep stealing fan translations, but for me it's worth that trouble.
MDL shows Viki as an OTT. However, at this time the series is shown as 'unlicensed' and is listed under the previous…
I think they've changed it because now it just says "not available in your region" when I click the link. I guess iQiyi and Viki have split the regions between them?
I just finished the novel, such a great story! And the LA is still listed on iQiyi as "coming soon"... I wonder if we'll ever see it at this point (╥﹏╥)
