but he doesn't realize he's lonely at first and voluntarily isolates himself, so he's probably not going to "fit the role" that you're thinking of. he's definitely neurodivergent and can't really read the room well/struggles in social situations, so he comes off as indifferent and almost emotionless. i think regarding this, saeon has portrayed him well :) but we'll get to learn more about the character later. i think it's natural to be confused by the leads at the beginning of a drama cause you don't really know them yet.

on the youtube description it said it would air at 6 pm kst whereas on mydramalist it’s set to air 5 pm. so is the mdl time wrong?

ikr! i loved the focus on food and cooking in to my star, but now in this one both the leads work in the food industry, so that means more shots of deliciousness!!!

even if you somehow hate this show, you can never hate the mom, she's so sweet and funny i love her skjhdkhfd her interactions with shi lei are sooo funny

i was gonna say the main couple is progressing too slow, but think about it: they started out as enemies and jin yuzhen clearly has a lot of emotional baggage, so it would be unrealistic for them to be super romantically involved already. i like how things are progressing, minus the weird falling-down-on-top-of-each-other cliché that is just happening way too often and messing up the flow lmfao.
any way, looking forward to the upcoming episodes! shi lei is honestly so hilarious and it definitely doesn't help that he's like the most beautiful man i've ever seen...i mean look at those dimples...that smile...AHHH

aaron lai's character kind of deadpans everything so he's naturally not going to have much expression on his face. it's purposeful, though, and i find it hilarious since it riles shi lei up so much lmao

i have high hopes for light on me! the production value/quality seemed much higher than previous lgbt shows in south korea (more people are investing, yay!) and it's a whopping 16 episodes long! it's definitely much more lighthearted than IPYTM but i think there's a chance it'll be just as enjoyable :) kdrama quality usually never lets me down. the trailers are absolutely adorable and i also recognize the cast, which i'm excited for. obviously plot is more important, but dang, light on me has me sold in the eye candy department lol

yes, well, it's definitely not for the fainthearted since it's pretty heavy. i feel like crying every episode, but life isn't always happy, so i appreciate this drama showing us that :)

i wanted to like this drama but dang i really cannot support censorship...like how the heck did sobin become one of the mains when she was a side character before? why do people gotta straight-ify everything when the webtoon was just great in all of its gay glory? don't adapt it at all if this is gonna happen...i dont want south korea to turn into china with its rampant censorship TT

yeah honestly just from the plot i can tell that daon is gonna be that one handsome second male lead that everyone wants the main character to fall in love with since he's so much kinder to him than the tsundere first male lead (shinwoo), but then mc ends up falling in love with the first male lead anyway lmaooo poor daon :((
i wonder what'll happen with the girl too. i hope she's just a normal student that's jealous instead of a toxic female character like in so many other bl/ lgbt shows.

when i say schoolchildren i just mean kids in grade school :) and yes, minors can have sex, but it's weird to look at two high schoolers and wonder about their sex positions/roles, especially since the show's main focus is not their sexual relationship.

i'm not sure, it could be a cultural thing for south korea. the age problem doesn't exist where i live, but i noticed south koreans tend to like younger celebs/singers/idols etc, especially for women, so that's probably why they want younger anchors as well.
