Probably, yes.
If the official streaming platform in your region does not tolerate other platforms having the same drama, it would be region restricted on Viki.
Thankfully, there's no WeTV or Disney+ (used to be Disney+ Hotstar, but Hotstar was bought by another company... it still comes with Disney+ shows, but I don't think they will look to get a Chinese drama on their platform) where I am.
Viki is usually one day late (sometimes they even start airing on the same day, but not all episodes airing on the premiere day on WeTV/Tencent will be up on Viki), and their release schedule is usually behind on WeTV/Tencent's schedule. Probably because their license terms with WeTV/Tencent states that they cannot catch up to original network's schedule.

Almost every major drama these days have an OST sung by Zhou Shen. I listen to "her" (ooops, I meant "his" lol) OST songs from various drams on loop everyday.

Sorry, it's not true that it is a "platonic relationship" if they can't have real sex. They can be intimate in many other aspects, and from what I understand, they did. They had real romantic feelings for each other. That is real romantic relationship in every sense except for the fact that they can't go all the way.

In fact, this might be the first time I used it to describe a fictional character. I have seen people labelling other c-drama MLs as "Simp," and I always debated against them on how that is not the case. Here, I'm afraid, I will be up front in declaring that this ML is officially the first Simp ML (there have been many simpy SMLs) I encountered in c-drama. And also a cuck.
As a man, if I were in his place, I'd have checked out of the relationship long ago and pursued my romantic interests elsewhere.
That said, I will not be dropping this drama, since I find the political intrigue in this drama to be quite interesting.
I just felt like I needed to vent my frustrations with the ML. Yes, the ML. Not the FL (I can't blame the FL at all; she is actually the most rational person here, she even offered to let him find his own love). I actually admire her and support her for taking her stance, "I ain't waiting for you to sort out your feelings and get back to me." I just wish the ML also had the spine to take the same stance in their second life, where it's the FL who needs to sort out her feelings.

11. For crime drama, The Ministry of Public Security needs to assist in the review historical figures, major cases, and foreign-related cases
12. Encourage film producers to proactively bring in experts for review in advance. Expert opinions will be included as an appendix for reviewers to refer to during the review process

It's not the worst, really. If you ask me: Between MDL and Douban, which rating system sucks, I would always pick MDL.

Like really, I have seen some of the best c-dramas out there get only around 8.0-8.5, and some barely passable dramas get 8.7-8.8 (I haven't watched this drama yet, so I'm not saying this drama is barely passable, I'm waiting for the drama to complete its entire run before binge-watching it. Big fan of the novel, so I'm very positive the drama is also very good.)
If the ML or FL of the drama have more fans and very few haters, they usually get higher ratings even if the drama is barely passable. Some of the dramas with lesser-known ML and FL with negligible haters also get higher ratings if the drama is super good (best examples The Double and Blossom, and I think I can count this particular drama in that category. I'm including The Double in this category because at that time, WXY was considered one of the lesser-known actors. WJY, while she is famous in China, she doesn't seem to have that kind of pull in the international audience). If ML or FL of a drama are famous, but also have dedicated haters who create fake accounts and make it their life to just downrate the drama, that drama is bound to have a low rating even if the drama is very good.
Passersby ratings are basically negligible on MDL, and that is sad. Their ratings are often more unbiased.
Oh crap!! I just realized Wu Jinting is also in this drama (just watched a short video clip and felt like I saw this actor somewhere, which led me to investigate and find out). I was basically visiting this drama site almost every day since it was announced, and I never once noticed it, lol.
I really liked him in Time and Him Are Just Right. He was the ML in that drama, and he's got a very good voice.
Must say, this drama is packed with a super strong supporting cast.
