At least it has a HE. My problem was from ep 31 to 38. That arc was too long. But I loved most of the previous…
Same reason I didn't watch TTEOM. I loved the lead's chemistry in Love is Sweet, but I ain't watching a whole a** show just for an open ending or a sad ending. Defeats the purpose.
I can understand your reasons very well and I'm the same as you, I don't like his character in King women too,…
I have watched only 4 dramas starring Vin Zhang. 1. Here We Meet Again 2. Storm Eye 3. Fireworks of My Heart (special appearance role) 4. The Blossoming Romance
In Here We Meet Again there was no SML, but there was one guy pursuing the FL before FL and ML got together. Storm Eye is not too relationship focused, it is more investigation driven. FL and ML were ex-lovers and had to work together on a new case.
They always mess up the ending but anyways I liked it a lot
I also want to like it, but I cannot see past the mess they have created. Especially when they gave us a near-perfect show with the first 30 episodes. The last 10 episodes were a huge let down. It's like the script quality went from 100 to 1.
If killing ZM means killing DLZM in the future, then they could just kill the past Hao Tian to kill the future…
"LDZM survived or won because he had XXC's soul (from the blood essence CP sent to the mirror)"
For DL ZM to have XXC's soul, past ZM should survive. The blood essence CP sent was ZM's. Again, past ZM's survival should affect present DL ZM's survival, and also XXC's survival. He is the source for everything. It's very messy, but the best way I can put it; If, by killing past ZM, they kill past HT, which in turn kills the present HT, all in the rule free zone, how did DL ZM survive when he and XXC are literally past ZM?
So, MXL can care for TM as A'Zhu, yet she cannot love DL ZM as A'Zhu? Make it make sense. So, TM, who does not…
Note to all, I haven't read the novel yet, but seeing the comment posts about the novel plotline is enough for me to form an opinion that the novel did a much better job of wrapping up everything nicely. I think I will read the novel next to cleanse myself from the utter disappointment I have experienced in the last 10 episodes.
So, MXL can care for TM as A'Zhu, yet she cannot love DL ZM as A'Zhu? Make it make sense.
So, TM, who does not care for humanity in the slightest, "sacrificed" ZM to 10,000 years of literal hell for humanity? Make it make sense.
So, DL ZM can kill ZM of the past, ensuring HT is killed in the past, which means HT does not exist in the future, but somehow ZM's death does affect DL ZM's existence? I know the convoluted theory of DL ZM taking ZM's place would ensure DL ZM would still exist in the future, but how the f**k would DL ZM even take ZM's place when ZM's death literally means DL ZM does not exist in the past, present, or the future? Make it make sense.
The writers really f**ked everything up when they could have just followed the novel and given us a more satisfying ending. The drama really went downhill in the last 10 episodes.
Props to @Jenny park for foreseeing the bullcrap that was to come.
I've seen a lot of opinions about episodes 35 and 36, particularly about FL healing the 2nd ML despite everything…
From an emotional standpoint, I have no complaints against MXL for saving TM (by which, I mean, I don't think she is betraying ML by doing that, or that she has any romantic feelings for TM). But from a logical/strategic standpoint of a bystander, I do feel it's a bit stupid to give that evil SOB half your power just so he can heal and cook up more evil sh*t. And he's doing exactly that, lol.
You're not wrong, physical appearance plays a big role. Isn't that the case for female leads too, though? I've…
For me, it depends on what genre drama I'm watching. If it is a not romance heavy drama, I also care more for characters rather than the CP thing.
I have just recently completed watching The Youth Memories. It is more of a slice of life with some romance elements. ML was first together with SFL, and I actually rooted for them. SML, who is ML's best buddy, finally ends up with SFL after ML and SFL break up. I felt bad when they broke up, and actually pitied the SFL and SML afterwards.

My bad in not clarifying. By SFL, I meant the ones that romantically like the ML and are an active hindrance to the main couple's relationship.
For me, any character that likes the ML or the FL and is actively trying to break them apart, I don't find them to my liking, be it SML or SFL. It doesn't matter if they are evil or not, I automatically dislike them lol. TM is actually making it easier for me to dislike his character. I actually found NXY interesting, not so much with TM.

I don't think evil SFL characters who look beautiful get any love at all, not in c-dramaland for sure. Maybe in the western dramas where predominantly male users lurk.
Yan and Qingyang returning to the palace and dying to defend it was truly tragic. Hopefully in this life, they…
"And we are back to the current timeline! Yay! It is great that MXL figured out how to cleanse DL ZM by seizing the BOF for a while. Invading a person's internal consciousness like this supposedly hurts a lot in xianxias, right? Good! Suffer more, TM!"
Well, about that, ep 38 trailer reveals that this is also a set up by TM to kill Dark ZM.
Nah, I can somewhat get behind NXY, but BOF is out and out hateful. No amount of self-sacrifice he does for COP does not excuse what he did to ZM -- A very good man who just wants good for the world. Forget the FL, forget the ML, forget the story, just that person, ZM, he does not deserve that, and BOF can never be forgiven in my eyes. I have no "pity" for him, and I don't find him "interesting", or "complex". He's not. He's just plain hateful.

Even ZBB had SML roles where he was evil and toxic, yet his characters were loved. 😵
