You’ll get what you desire in Moonlit Reunion. This also has an element of romance because the synopsis released…
Yeah, that's why I said not including both of them, because they aren't airing anytime soon, or they aren't airing indefinitely. Especially Monkey King 3. They have released a game, Black Myth: Wukong, which became an international sensation. My friend who is an avid PS5 gamer is still waiting for the prices to drop and buy the game to play. So, I guess they'd want to protect the IP and will not let this drama air indefinitely.

By BL do you mean Bai Lu? I just read recently that Bai Lu won't be doing idol dramas anymore after she's done with her current commitments. So, she is transitioning full-time.
I wish XK could still film at least one idol drama per year, and one or two transitioning dramas. Although he is getting old (as per Chinese standards, not mine. I am a year older than him lol. I I call him old, what would I be?), he looks pretty young. I don't believe he will face what LXY is facing right now, but I do hope he doesn't get cast opposite a 16-year-old FL, lol. Let's not forget that the actress playing the FL in this drama is also still in her teens, only 19.
At least it has a HE. My problem was from ep 31 to 38. That arc was too long. But I loved most of the previous…
Yeah, it was so unnecessary tbh. And they introduced a new threat in the last minute to give us that open ending, it really pissed me off. That's why I rated it down.

😅 I lowered the ratings for The Double for the very same reason. The drama was a 10/10 until the last few minutes they decided to pull an open ending scenario. The drama crew literally had to film the epilogue episode just days before the express package was set to drop lol. If it weren't for that, the drama was set to be an open ending. And I hated that, because I read the novel and it was a very happy ending. So I watched the drama when it was ongoing (I rarely do that with Xianxias or costume dramas) fully expecting a very happy ending.
I guess the only costume drama I went in blind, not knowing if it will be a happy or sad ending, was Wonderland of Love. The author, who was also the screenwriter, was famous for writing sad endings (Siege in Fog, Goodbye, My Princess). But people have been saying that the author was in a rare good mood and probably has written a happy ending for this one. I originally wanted to wait, but the drama drew me in, and it was the best decision I made, cause it has a very happy ending. The whole last episode is dedicated for the happy ending.

Same reason I didn't watch TTEOM. I loved the lead's chemistry in Love is Sweet, but I ain't watching a whole a** show just for an open ending or a sad ending. Defeats the purpose.
I can understand your reasons very well and I'm the same as you, I don't like his character in King women too,…
I have watched only 4 dramas starring Vin Zhang. 1. Here We Meet Again 2. Storm Eye 3. Fireworks of My Heart (special appearance role) 4. The Blossoming Romance
In Here We Meet Again there was no SML, but there was one guy pursuing the FL before FL and ML got together. Storm Eye is not too relationship focused, it is more investigation driven. FL and ML were ex-lovers and had to work together on a new case.
They always mess up the ending but anyways I liked it a lot
I also want to like it, but I cannot see past the mess they have created. Especially when they gave us a near-perfect show with the first 30 episodes. The last 10 episodes were a huge let down. It's like the script quality went from 100 to 1.
If killing ZM means killing DLZM in the future, then they could just kill the past Hao Tian to kill the future…
"LDZM survived or won because he had XXC's soul (from the blood essence CP sent to the mirror)"
For DL ZM to have XXC's soul, past ZM should survive. The blood essence CP sent was ZM's. Again, past ZM's survival should affect present DL ZM's survival, and also XXC's survival. He is the source for everything. It's very messy, but the best way I can put it; If, by killing past ZM, they kill past HT, which in turn kills the present HT, all in the rule free zone, how did DL ZM survive when he and XXC are literally past ZM?
So, MXL can care for TM as A'Zhu, yet she cannot love DL ZM as A'Zhu? Make it make sense. So, TM, who does not…
Note to all, I haven't read the novel yet, but seeing the comment posts about the novel plotline is enough for me to form an opinion that the novel did a much better job of wrapping up everything nicely. I think I will read the novel next to cleanse myself from the utter disappointment I have experienced in the last 10 episodes.
3 dramas (not including Zhao Ge and Monkey King 3), out of which 2 doesn't have romance theme, 1 does.
I guess she made those comments because she's doing more non-romance projects and is kind of preparing her fans for it.
I like the actress, but I'm a XK fan.

I've seen people watching ALP to satisfy their love for the original characters from TLI or MM, only to be disappointed in ALP for obvious reasons.
