This is low-key engaging and interesting. I started it with zero expectations because most mini kbls are literally so basic and plotless but this turned out to be good.
There's no good ending to a love that is toxic. It breeds hatred. Know when to let go. I don't believe that there is a love in this world that is hard to forget. Even if there is and you can't forget, just k_ill yourself š
And when I catch Keng Harit, his revered masters, all enlightened Buddhas, the Buddha, the Dhamma, the Sangha; his parents in his past life, current life and in the spirit realm; the divine beings who have cared for him in every life; the guardian deities that protect him; the great gods; the Great Bodhisattvas; all mighty divine beings in the 19 planes of heaven, the 16 planes of Brahma realm, the 15 planes below the summit of Mount Meru, the 14 planes of the lower realms, and the 21 goddesses of Earth and Water, will be unable to save him from me. It's either he leaves me with child or I leave him with oneš
WAIT A MIN. Are you watching it correctly? The grandpa wanted the the grandson to have the body, that's why he…
Lmao did you read what you just typed? Please give it a rest. I've dropped my two cents and I won't be engaging in any back and forth conversation. You can go ahead and reply but I won't be giving a feedback. Thank you.
No matter how much you try to convince others that this plot makes sense or deserves a higher rating, let's be realāitās trash. The idea that a grandparent would want their grandchild to sacrifice their life for them is not only unrealistic but also ignores the natural instinct of grandparents to protect and prioritize their grandchildren's well-being. No one in 2025 would make such a ridiculous choice. No grandparent would want their grandchild to give up their life for them in the name of love. Even if the grandchild decided to do so, no grandparent would accept it.
You're not going to make it seem okay for someone that old to get another chance at life while a young person in their 20s dies for love. This narrative glorifies self-sacrifice as the ultimate act of love, which can be harmful and promote unhealthy relationship dynamics. If they were truly destined to love each other, why didnāt the boy fall for him when he was older with grey hair? Why did he have to love him only when he was in a young body? Does love only become valid when itās visually appealing? It seems like the narrative is prioritizing the older character's desires over the younger person's life, which is a concerning power dynamic.
Iāve been watching and reading danmei for years, and Iāve seen some plots defy common sense, but there was always a semblance of humanity. This is the worst plot Iāve seen in BL, and the way they justify everything is infuriating. Thereās a limit to how much nonsense one can take, and this is where I draw the line. This is trash and shouldnāt be encouraged. To the writer, let this be your first and last attempt at this kind of plot.
If someone like told me that Taiwan would produce the most stupid and nonsense BL this year,I would have fought the person. Like I don't support violence but I would have involved myself in one physically.
I think what makes Revenged Love beautiful is the pacing. It's evenly paced and there's little to no draggy scene. From when they met till the breakup scene, nothing seems out of place. For a 24 episode drama (currently at episode 18), there's still not a single boring episode.
At the same time, it is unrealistic when nobody dies when they are always at war.
Some deaths have to make sense. Did Wei Liang die at war? If it was the war that happened when Liangya first tried to take Pianyi and Yanzhou, it would have made sense. The only death that made sense was that of Daqiao.
I enjoyed this drama a lot. From episode 1 to the last. But I must still say something.... Cdrama directors needs to understand that they do not need to kill off a character to sell a story or to get an increased rating. They should take a page from LLTG and Blossom.

And now, a victim of Weiwei's revenge plot.š
