I feel that Tiffany Hsu and Edward Chen being the leads here, we can pretty much disregard the current description of the drama...there is DEFINITELY going to be more to it!
I was really struggling with Song Deok Ho's role in this. He plays the derpy cop well, but it just seemed like a criminal waste of his talent (pun intended ðŸ¤). But ep 12 puts me right back on track! We are slowly seeing the layers laid bare. This show seems to me to be improving with each ep.
Now if Baek Dong Joo could just be allowed to show a bit of 'grown-up' (i.e.late 20s adults) chemistry with Kim Tae Hee, then I'll be satisfied.
This drama looks fluffy to the max. Can anyone confirm or deny?
I think maybe a little bit fluffy, but not to the max 😆. IMO the themes around female relationships and issues, are too rarely portrayed in dramas, at this point in time, for it to be considered as completely fluffy. It is gently done though so it's a VERY satisfying watch.
I have been enjoying a well written story between men & women. I love the realism in this shows. How women are…
So agree! I am not usually interested in royal court dramas/costume dramas/historical, but this one hooked me completely, and I think it's ALL down to the female relationships.
OMG, what is WITH the cheesy 80s synth music in the background? OK, you can't get rights to the ACTUAL music,…
I've noticed that too. Got me thinking maybe all the shows I'm finding disappointing, (e.g. Jinxed at First) might have the same Music Director 🤷 but I'm too lazy to research
I wish this show had been written with Kang Chae Ri as the central character. At least then the title would've been appropriate. Not hating it as is, but so hoped for more...
Sorry but I'm going to be a bit pedantic...the virus scene was a corona-virus. SARS and MERS are both corona viruses…
Actually the lab theory has been debunked. Completely. It is not lab created. It has been thourougly investigated and proved, (through current best scientific practice), to be a zoonotic virus (likely from bats) that spread from the Wuhan wet market.
Very strange that this drama came out a year before Covid-19! The virus in episode 21 was a covid virus. Rewatching…
Sorry but I'm going to be a bit pedantic...the virus scene was a corona-virus. SARS and MERS are both corona viruses (along with Covid-19) both of which have killed many in SK. In light of that, IMO, the virus scene was not really prophetic nor remarkable at that time.
Everyone who hasn't watched it yet, just SKIP EP 14. There is NOTHING new in this ep. (It's all repeated scenes of previous ep) The writers must be on a break.
Is this a melodrama? I love fem centred dramas and I love the cast, but the bombastic, over the top, melodramatic music, is making it very much less enjoyable for me. (Trying to decide whether to continue, as I really don't enjoy melodramas)
