Ok, I have a big plot question that is really preventing me from suspending disbelief (aka annoying the s**t out of me). Is it normal in mainland China that a patient is NOT fully informed of their full diagnosis and required to give their consent to treatment? And that their family can do so instead?! This would be COMPLETELY unethical and illegal, where I live; unless the patient was a minor, or had an issue that prevented their consent (cognitive impairment for example). Can anyone tell me one way or the other, so I can just get over it and move on 😬

Admittedly I'm only at ep 5, but I really like her character - she's caring, generous and optimistic. I haven't seen her be appearance obsessed AT ALL. She even has the same hairstyle in every episode - is that what you mean by 'looking good'? Or do you mean more 'saving face'? Not that I've noticed that either 🤷‍♂️

Wow, this is comprehensive! Thankyou. I'm always looking for C-drama recommendations as there's just SO MUCH content. Admittedly I've been avoiding "The Oath Of Love" because I don’t like the main poster - the character he plays, to me, looks so arrogant in it - staring off, whilst she cuddles in 🤷‍♂️ - this seems like such a lame excuse 😅, but you've convinced me to give it a shot.

It sort of improves after ep 2, but it is a very 'cute' (aegyo) story. It is pure romance and not in any way challenging. All complications get resolved pretty quickly (within a couple of episodes). If you are after a purely cheesy romance with very pretty actors, light comedy, no real challenges, and a happy ending for ALL, keep watching.

I think I agree with you about it being in character, but that probably makes it worse for me 😬. The idea that 30+ year olds legitimately behave this way is horrifying 😅
I'm really enjoying KSS, but based on the comments page it's pretty polarising- love it or loathe it 🤷‍♂️ (the aegyo is brief - only in 1 episode so far)

Why does the aegyo portrayed in this, make me feel really, really uncomfortable (especially from Ho Young, but also between Han Byeol and Tae Sung); when I find the aegyo in Kiss Sixth Sense cute and hilarious 🤔🤨🧐?!?

Finally getting this off my Netflix watchlist whilst I wait for Bloody Heart to finish airing. I LOVE Kang Ha Na in these badass roles. Actually the whole cast is just everyone I love in K-drama land. 😍

I found the female characters in this, refreshing. Even when they're in opposition, they're not sociopaths. And they resolve their differences and become friendly, like many real humans I know. Makes me think the writer has actually interacted with real human females 🤯
