OMG thankyou Shiro, for sharing your incredible story, and that gorgeous Gif of you dancing 🤩. And Starflakes, you're a star sidekick! I could never quite put my finger on whatvtroubled me about "You Are My Spring", but I think you may have clarified it for me. I think I just kept thinking of the ML as being pre-transplant to make it 'fit'. Doctor Lawyer has started screening this past week with a whole Makjang (IMO) transplant fiasco. I would LOVE to hear your opinion! It's looking very much like a plot device to set up the drama...
it is not makjang. makjang only deals with high society socialites and their shenanigans.
Exactly 😁 Plus the whole dead parents killed in weird circumstances, sister of the dead person is my girlfriend, corruption of entire surgical staff, and prison officials, Rachmaninoff accompanied slow-mo, overly exagerrated physical acting with zero facial expression, extravaganza that this is. Pure Makjang 😂

Makjang is over the top, stretching believability. melodrama. It doesn't have to be high society necessarily. IMO the 1st 2 eps of this definitely fit.
Is there a synopsis somewhere that describes this as 'Makjang'? It's screaming melodrama to me 🤷♂️ It's not in the tags but I think if you go in with that in mind, it makes the WHOLE presentation far more palatable. Plus Shin Sun Rok - king of Makjang! Seems to me to be a big clue.
i mean not really, it's 9 month pregnanacy + The postpartum (or postnatal) period which refer to 6 week, in this…
What you're saying is a lovely thought for mothers - your body being allowed to recover post-partum... but it is ABSOLUTELY possible. I have 2 siblings who are 11 months apart (and to clarify, from the same mother). And there are A LOT of families with this, in certain cultures. Google "Irish Twins".
He was found guilty of sex with a minor, and served jail time back in the mid-2000s. I really want to believe people can atone for their mistakes and deserve second chances if they can atone. But this case was pretty awful. Considering the things many current SK celebrites are cancelled for, I personally find it hard to comprehend how he gets so much work.
I'm 99% sure it's undervoted just because of Lee Kyung Young, since it's a very good medical drama. I didn't see…
Interesting you say that. I was thinking it's just straight up young idols in Why Her vs old idols in Doctor Lawyer. It's pretty clear from many other MDL pages that young and handsome wins the day 😁 But I must admit Kyung Young gives me the creeps.
Ep13: I don't know how Jo Ki Peum refrains from screaming at her boss. Isn't a Journalist SUPPOSED to be "...an advocate (apostle) of justice"? To represent an unbiased view, so readers/viewers are given the facts, to make up their own minds. Otherwise it's an unverified opinion/critique/edotorial, AKA 'tabloid journalism'. Ahh me and my idealistic dreams... I'm wondering now if this is an insight into SK and what's accepted as 'journalism'. (Not much different to everywhere else in the world...)
Yep. I never understand people saying characters are unattractive to them, so they recommend other people don't…
Well said! It's weird to me that making negative comments on people's appearance, is so 'normal' on MDL. But I also find the expectation of 'perfection' that is presented in K-dramas in particular, can become a bit distancing - it's not very relatable!
