I can't help it. I have to ask...was this whole article devised, just so you could use your WHJ Gif's? π€£ It is GOLD! But also, you're hilarious! Thankyou! β€
She's a female version of a playboy. The society smiles when someone is referred to a playboy but a girl that…
Based on the first two (short) eps. I wouldn't call it a love triangle, exactly. She is 'on' with both. No-one is pining in the background. And yes, they are ALL, VERY pretty π
can she just be in a throttle...lol..I haven't watched this but I liked the summary. let it end with her in a…
Sorry is 'throttle' slang for threesome or polyamory? Where I come from, to throttle means to choke...that would be a very different relationship story π€£ Do you mean 'throuple'?
This is especially obvious when it comes to who Junho likes. He immediately dismisses WYW as a possibility and…
I agree, his competition with her, definitely shows a degree of respect. It also makes me think he's capable of learning. Maybe he will be the character in whom we see the most KDrama 'growth'.
Let me edit this, because it seems as though a lot of you have a problem understanding context. I understand Autism…
I too have an autistic child (since it seems a justification for our opinion is required; along with an autistic parent, siblings, cousins, ex-spouse..) and I have a very different opinion to you. I find PEB's portrayal, convincing. I have not found her 'acting' to be noticeable at all. But I too have an unpopular opinion - I didn't like Ji Sung in Kill Me Heal Me, AT ALL. I found him completely over the top. It's ok that you don't like her portrayal. Its ok that many of us do. I love that you're still enjoying it, regardless! Yep I didn't like Ji Sung in KMHM, but I still watched the whole thing. Clearly I still enjoyed it enough to do that, right!?
What exactly is Junho's job? I thought he was a lawyer, but he isn't. And also I'm beginning to think he is also…
He's an Investigator. Basically his job is to do the research needed to support the case the lawyers are pursuing. Sometimes that will require physically going to the scene, doing interviews etc., sometimes it would just be computer based research.
I have no much knowledge about Autism Spectrum Disorder and whatever i know is through this drama so my comment…
She can DEFINITELY have and show emotions - just look at her passion for cetaceans (whales, dolphins, poropises...,)! What you describe is actually a difficulty in recognising or interpreting the emotions of others, which humans 'typically' express and discern through facial expressions. The cards are to help her learn typical facial expressions and what they 'typically' mean. The difficulties that can then arise, are when people fake facial expressions, so learning body language can also be a skill to learn, that will help autistic people in social situations.
Ep 5 bugbear... Just like any massive generalisation "Autistics can't lie" is not actually true. Autism spectrum is called 'spectrum' for a reason. Maybe Woo Young Woo is not very good at lying, but that isn't true for all Autistic people. And whilst we're at it, another frustrating but prevailing generalisation is that Autistic people lack empathy. This is also incorrect, and in fact, the complete opposite can be the case - being overly empathetic and therefore easily overwhelmed by social interaction.
I know there's a lot of...strong dislike, for the ML but I really feel for him. The character is a brilliant portrayal…
Also; as much as I can feel empathy for Xin Zhen (wife of ML), because she is clearly unhappy; she IS emotionally abusive! Threatening divorce, witholding care and affection, controlling the space in which they live, contempt for his food choices, his behaviour, his work, his facial expressions ('you didn't smile'), interfering with his work. So many examples...HE needs to leave! (Again with the awesome character portrayals!)
It concerns me that viewers are siding with her over him! I so want people to be able to recognise abuse immediately, and stand against it.
I know there's a lot of...strong dislike, for the ML but I really feel for him. The character is a brilliant portrayal of a toxic level 'people pleaser'. He keeps trying to do what he 'thinks' everyone else wants him to do, whilst completely failing at it, and not doing what is good for himself. I really, REALLY hope at some point in this, he wakes up! AND to continue the brilliant portrayals, the two women he is attracted to, are strong, assertive... purely themselves (and pretty self-absorbed) - the total opposite of himself (and probably what he wishes he were). I love the depth of characterisation in this show!
Trying to imagine how watching people 'meeting to talk about stocks', is going to be entertaining ππ§π€ Call me shallow, and you'd be right - they will all need to be very pretty π€£π€£π€£

This article is AWESOME! Thankyou for putting this together. I'm now about to search for your Autumn article...but I'll be waiting for Summer and Spring from you, so I can use them as reference articles π - I live in the Southern Hemisphere...
It's not a drama but the OST that still moves me to tears when I hear it, is "Sparkle" by Radiwimps. From the Japanese anime movie "Your Name". Even thinking about it gives me goosebumps.

The idea of it, still freaks me out, but I can accept that it's trying to protect people.
