Oh. My. Gosh! Thankyou for this article. I had never heard of Zhou Shen, but have learned here that I've heard…

The first time I heard of him was in the drama Reset. It was the ending song, "My Only", that I found out who…
OMG, I've been playing that song constantly since Reset aired and never made the connection...I have clearly been an ignorant fan for a long time (considering The Long Ballad and other OSTs 😳)

Oh. My. Gosh! Thankyou for this article. I had never heard of Zhou Shen, but have learned here that I've heard him in some of the OST's. I just listened to the 'Time to Say Goodbye' link, and had my first ever, full blown 'opera moment'....Goosebumps. Tears. Transfixed...I've gotten goosebumps before, and not necessarily from opera either, but NEVER spontaneous tears (Such a freaking weird experience. Why are my eyes leaking?!?). THANKYOU for the introduction. I am joining you in your fandom!

I'm trying to be sympathetic towards everyone but it's like I'm jumping through hoops to excuse behaviour that…
I think I'm enjoying this so much because I am soundly sitting very comfortably on my high horse in judgement πŸ˜† and feel no need to be sympathetic. The older I get, the more convinced I am that people NEVER grow up. Either they always behave with kidness and care. Or they don't. (Wow I'm cynical 😬) I find this show VERY realistic. When I've seen people IRL behave like these characters (at many stages of life I might add), I'm compelled to do as you've said, and be sympathetic. Or compassionate. Here I can just judge away! It's cathartic!

Title No Regrets in Life Spoiler
In episode 4, there is a flashback scene which showed the FL biting the ML’s arm back in their schooling days,…
IMO You're right, it made him feel special. Like he was chosen. I think of her biting habit in the same way you would a toddler's. It represents pure frustration, paired with an inability to actually express your strong emotions/passion. But it also expresses a need to have power and control over someone else, when you feel threatened. He is the only one of their friendship group who is actually important enough to her, for her to feel these feelings. She is a complete piece of work for sure! And HE, can't delineate the difference between passion and actual love (his wife IMO, is of a kind with the FL). I personally find all of the characters very realistic...I have seen these behaviours at every age. Just because you're 30/60/90, doesn't mean you're an adult πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

"woman on her period" yeah you should delete your comment
I mean just that bit...edit it out. The rest of the comment is fair enough opinion - though I disagree πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

I am so tired of all the crying, small talk and the darn cup of tea/coffee talks. I swear to God this is the last…
Is the 'woman on her period' comment necessary? It's offensively sexist. Perhaps you could delete it?! πŸ™

Title Link: Eat, Love, Kill Spoiler
Just found myself spontaneously bawling 😭for Ji Won Tak, when he started beating up the Police Commander. Not at all my normal response to violence - usually I'm disturbed by it.
I think I'll be watching everything Song Deok Ho from now on. He is SO GOOD!

what is not believable...the mom abandoning her and dad taking care of her?
Sure, strictly speaking...A better word might have been 'accessible'.

I've decided I must have a cold dead heart. Moo Hak's aegyo in Ep14 just makes me shiver...
In a just before you vomit way πŸ₯Ά
Why am I so addicted to Kdrama romances, when I have such a visceral response to aegyo?!?
Whywhywhy?!?

Oh, what? This whole time I thought Yeo Jin Goo was the ML in this. They don't particularly look alike, I don't…
Honestly I get the two of them confused at times too, even though I agree, they look nothing alike. I've decided it's in their smile πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

I totally appreciate your POV. I think your story for them is lovely. I somewhat envision things the same way But...the fact you had to fill it in for yourself like this is, I think, my issue with the scene. I found this bit of the show to be 'lazy writing'. When EVERYTHING else has been so good, I felt let down by the writer... But I'm getting over it 😁

what is not believable...the mom abandoning her and dad taking care of her?
Two very intelligent people (SNU law students, one of whom is now considered the best lawyer in SK) deciding in 5 secs flat that she would go through an entire pregnancy, in secret, in a conglomerate family, and then fully give that baby up to the father who would completely drop out of law, (and run a gimpap shop,) on the cusp of graduating. What's more, in a country where abortion is legal.
It is believable that a mother will abadon her child and the father raise her. But THIS scenario, in MY OPINION, is just NOT AT ALL believable. It could have been almost anything else and been more realistic πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ
