lol so many illogical plot holes in this drama, you need to be brain dead to enjoy it.
Agree on this part making me think the director should have kept the soul /body part swap of the book. Then if heroine come back she will have to comeback with YCY look then or they will have to make WYJ the prime minister daughter originally and then YCY the original Xue Fang Fei whose soul gets transfered into WJY character's body. I guess director was afraid of censorship. Plus what makes the banter between the leads interesting and spicy is the whole stolen idendity thing. It gives that cat-and-mouse vibe to the game between the leads where ML knows she is capping. I just wished the murder attempt and escape thingy was done better. That drama I am assuming was done probably around the same time as SOT. I guess it is part of those testing-smaller-scaled dramas Yu Zheng produced where Wang Xing Yue was casted as ML during the time the latter's popularity was still very low - not so important project. Therefore I feel the directing couldn't bother dwell too much on certain technical aspects of the drama storytelling ? Because I can see the same issues with SOT : in both dramas he removed the fantastical aspects that make the stories that give good explanation.
Personally the thing I don't understand is how she managed to find that temple ? Did she know about its existence in the area she lives in prior to the events ? How did she know about the direction to take from her spot ?
Wow ! Wang Xing Yue in first episode is soooo hot that is not even funny. And his character is so taunting and flirty ! Like whenever he looks at the FL it is like he is undressing her. Aigooo they went hardcore here

Zhang Ruo Yun is a hell of a good actor. His expressions are so on point ! The way he reacted when he discovered what his mom looked like through her portrait was so in the moment. You could the various emotions going through his eyes : happiness, sadness, curiosity, excitement. He was like a baby
