I wish Si Li Li appeared in S2 but she is a consort in BeiQi so she can't. I personally liked her relationship's development with FX and how instead of to keep it antagonistic where the ML would be totally indifferent to her til the end, as they do in every other cdramas around, their dynamism was different and we could see in FX eyes some longing for her. Their chemistry was charged with loads of sex appeal

Acting was really good except for Gina Jin that had no business being in JOL on first place.

It means good on Douban and people reactions towards it got better. A 7 on DB = decent as in can be better but not bad. A 8 = really good and a 9 = top

I wonder how the emperor was when he was still a prince and when he met Ye Qing Mei. His greed for absolute power now in his old age and his will for WuZhu and other grandmasters to be unalived make me think he used to be weak and bullied and he feared for his life (normal thing in the palace) a lot. If I am not wrong he was not the crown prince but his power grew through his contact with Fan Xian mother. Who do you see play the emperor young ? Personally I see Wang Xing Yue (young with mature look and natural authority and a nice voice) or the young actor that play in Hikaru no go I don't remember his name he is a good actor. I liked his acting as young king in NIF2.
I see Cheng Lei as young CPP and Wang You Shuo as Fan Jian. What do you think ? Who would be your picks ?
