Lol this is her opinion. Personally I have no problem with the costumes -except Fan ZiShe ugly necklace- and wigs. This is JOL's style and it is fitting that futuristic imaginary world. The issue that I have and I understand people complain is how the lil battles between 2nd prince and FX kinda dragged -they could have shortened it and introduce WuZhu and Royal princess earlier. Lol about FX being a nepo baby she makes me laugh. Well he is the emperor's son what does she expect ? Plus the admiration people have for him are also earned through his actions. He is not perfect but he is driven by justice. I watch her reviews but sometimes she can contradict herself .

I get your point but I think this season was focusing more on the palace politics and FX discovering more and more on how crooked and rotten those royals are, made him forget about CPP. Indeed CPP is sesame street next to those inhuman royals .

I have been saying that way before when cast was announced. Jin Chen is a huge miscast.

Apparently people have not vibed with S2 too much. That was expected. But 7.9 for S1 surprised me a bit
S2 is not a bad drama basically (7 at Douban is not bad) but yeah could be better
