Yeah the truth is so clear! The whole dialogue about "I think I need to let go of our relationship now" makes me think the villain was in fact protecting YY during the Demon-Deity war.
I am trying to watch it without focusing on the obvious so that I can enjoy the shock of it all along with our trio (not an easy task let me tell you!)
I cannot describe how happy I was when YD called him one more time "Xiaoren"; they're back, finally back T_T,…

I like the smooth transition from YY first seeing YD as only an immortal attendant and lording it over her, then seeing her intelligence at work while in Mortal Realm and now, just accepting her as his equal. He just goes "Hao" to whatever she says and that is seriously so sexy!
Okay - just rewatched the "confession" scene at the end of 48 and Ying Yuan Dijun needs to refine his communication skills!
The first thing he says is that Zhixi is doing well. I mean, YD is concerned about her sister yes, BUT the whole issue started with YD being under the impression that YY thought it was Zhixi who saved him. Then he says "Can we go back to the past?" Like NO! YD doesn't want to go back to the past :(((((( No "How are you doing? Hope you've been well."..nothing about YD herself aaaagh!
I can relate. Everytime I see actors/celebrities like him who are shy and introverted and have to go out of their comfort zone for the sake of their craft, I keep hoping they have people around them that know how they’re feeling and can give them a hug and tell them they’ve done well ☺️
Now we know how heart transplants worked in those times lol Everyone is lining up to do one.
When Zhixi gave YD her heart, I was thinking “So technically, YY was saved by Zhixi’s heart. In the end, she had to own up to the rumors she started in heaven for her self-preservation.”
I agree. Especially when his dad was hoping to gain immortality for his kind.
Maybe it’s because, like one of the other comments here said, YY thinks YD fell in love with the mortal version of him so he believes she’ll return his feelings if he reverts to being TZ again 🤷🏻♀️
