I agreed. Most people in general misunderstand love thinking that it should be transactional when in fact, love…
Oh nope you're absolutely fine going off topic and saying what you think :) I enjoy listening to different thoughts as well so you're good! And thank you for sharing something so personal *hugs*
I'm not sure what her specific reasons are for not wanting to be with YY in the future episodes ofcourse but from the recent ones and the trailers, I get the feeling that she perhaps went to the other extreme after she saved him? Something to the effect of "See! I have now saved you so that you can do your duty!" She said she forgave him yes, but I didn't get the impression that she didn't expect anything from him. I feel like she is pushing him away because she thinks that is what she is expected to do so that he can focus on his work (which is again essentially her making that decision for him) and not because she truly does not want to be with him. I don't think looking at love as being "self-sacrificing" is healthy . Should be more of making an informed choice, if that makes sense :) Even though they're both essentially the same things on the surface, it's about perspectives I guess. And ofcourse, we all need the time to heal from these choices.
I can appreciate Yumo, yes. He truly did not have any expectations and found joy in being with YD in whatever ways he could while also being aware that she was unavailable to him forever. The quintessential "nice guy". I don't think he would ever turn around and tell YD, "I've always been here for you and yet, you never SAW me." I would like to believe he finds his peace :)
Anyhoos, I am excited to see the further episodes and from the trailer for the later ones, I see that she also has reconciled with her feelings for YY, which is great!
Seriously, one of their main problems was the huge age gap between them. Yan Dan was an immature and impulsive…
Hahahhah old raised to the power of infinity YingYuan Dijun :))))) I just remembered he named Yan Dan and flicked her forehead when she was a kid! Aaaagh!
I think his affection for her stemmed from that emotion - he saw her as a kid. He didn't realise how or when his feelings had shifted to something more...mature. Also maybe why he was always so conflicted.
YD was immature and YY did not understand affection at all. It's their journey and change of attitudes that makes…
Yup absolutely :) I love stories with real human emotions in them and show growth. So this is perfect. It's exactly how anyone in their shoes with their kind of baggage would act and react and the idea that these are immortals and deities and divine beings is even more amazing - even gods are human at the end of the day eh :)
Okay so rewatching made me realise how self-centered YD's reasons for saving YY while he was consumed by the fire poison were. She basically made it about herself when she pushed him to confess that he had feelings for her and literally threatened to throw him off the Bridge of Emptiness if he didn't recognise her once he regained his eyesight while the poor dude was trying to deal with his impending death, the death of his friends and allies AND massive survivor's guilt! I see where she was coming from now when she kept pressurizing him to tell her how he felt about her as it was more of a "See! I saved you and so you owe it to me to be with me!" Which is also why she never openly communicated with him - just assumed he thought it was her sister and ran with it so that she could hold it against him. She never saw the real YY - only the version she made up about him in her mind. Even during their conversation on the rooftop while brick-throwing, it didn't feel like she actually understood his fears beyond just thinking "Ah he has a hard life even though he's a Sovereign Deity". YY tried desperately in the ways he knew how to talk to her after he got well - by asking her about the exam and all. But she pushed him away like a child. I can see how the previously self-assured YY would have been completely lost as it was his first experience with this particular kind of emotion which came with a lot of forbidden rules and associations which might have caused so much confusion in his mind. Poor chap!
I am glad they didn't get together and that they had the mortal realm experience to learn from. From the coming trailers, it seems like YD will resort to her old pattern of thinking only about herself and pushes YY away but luckily, this time around, YY is ready for it and seems like he is more self-aware and knows how to deal with this predicament.
Ah I love psychology and how human minds function and think and so all this is utterly fascinating to me :)
I wonder why she looks so mad at him in the trailer. I thought she no longer hated him? She previously said she…
I remember hearing YY say in some BTS or so “If we take care of the 3 relams then who will take care of you and me?” or some such. So I am guessing it’s a role reversal 😂
It's Huan Qing. From the trailers released, YD and YY will be facing/battling against him.
Which is why I thought he was trying to get YY away from the main battle tbh. But another commenter pointed out that maybe he was doing the opposite and getting YY killed early instead
A fan theory I read was he always ends up killing her and then will reverse time every time, Bcus he wants the…
Nooooooo way!!!! You made perfect sense! Hmmmmmm!!!!! Seeing as to how they’re all so ruthless, I can see this happening. And that sword knows something!
I just saw the trailers. IF YD will give her other half heart then what will remain of her? Haha. I mean when…
YY’s heart was destroyed after the hydra snake poison penetrated his body through his heart. YD had to stab TZ through the heart to end his mortal life and conveniently, that is also where his armour was destroyed and leaking powers. I think organs that are damaged/destroyed can be cultivated by immortals provided they are not significantly weakened otherwise. But with YD I am guessing her sister will make the sacrifice and give her half of hers.

Oh wow okay! So that theory about XY’s soul goes out the window.
I too think she died by someone else’s hands. XY seemed too shocked when she told him she was pregnant and the sword wraith also seemed to allude to YY’s presence being a welcome one by “his father”.

Thank you guys for indulging me ❤️ I am having immense fun discussing all this here.
