It was an ensemble cast doing a slice of life drama. I love it as sometimes I want to watch a drama with good writing, acting and costumes etc.

I don't need gore, shrieking parents, idiotic second leads, endless torture, multiple deaths as you do in the palace dramas.

Even the concubines and main wives got along here. Very happy with this drama.

I have both viki and Netflix and I have not watched any Chinese or Korean dramas on Netflix for almost a year. I am almost shocked at how many shows I am actually watching on viki. Looking forward to this.

I didn't realise I needed to check on the director and writer. I like the actors but dislike Something in the rain. Now I have to recall what I liked about One Spring Night.

Wow. I just went to the director's works. I didn’t realize he has directed quite a few dramas which I've watched. He had a very lush atmospheric style and vibe. I actually really like " I heard it through the grapevine. " I will now adjust my expectations for this drama. But wow, guess it won't be a light drama then.

Putting aside the ending- is the journey worth it?

I have or done Blossoms in adversity. I was waiting for this to end.

I am normally a shallow rom com viewer however someone recommended " fake it till you make it " on MDL. I really, really like the unexpected depth.

I like the actor. I like the FL unexpectedly when she did the romance with Wu Lei.
Now I normally wouldn't touch this drama because of the ML's job. And I keep hearing the terms " toxic and gaslighting. "

So. In spite of all this- is the drama worth starting because of the writing? I already know the main leads can act.

I am currently only on Lovely Runner. I haven't even started " Best Choice Ever. " I was planning to finish the 8 episodes of Lovely Runner. Then start this and Queen of tears. There are no other currently airing dramas that interest me except for the " The midnight romance in hagwon."

Haha. Ok. I hadn't started ep 1. So I guess I want tonight as its almost 9pm.

Thanks. My incoming dramas have good plots or good chemistry but man don't like the plots or the jobs. This has an evil 2ML and a brain tumour with amnesia, the other has a limb amputated and a mortifician, the next are con artists in a novel and a 15 sec ending in real life, the 4th has the ML committing suicide.

I am in need for a simple romance. I am in half a mind to watch those 10 min web dramas. But then the only good one has a female asssasin FL.

Argh.

So what was the old HW at the grave then? You mean old as in age and she died before him? I can accept that but that is weird jt was included. Unless the dates were included to show they had decades together.

I would have to watch single episodes daily. Apparently there is too much crying. From thr viewers. I know he cries.

Oh good. I am waiting for the ending than watching. A bit hard to admire a male lead where all he does is cry.

I also happen not to like the actor playing Park Sung Hoon anyway so plan to just skip his part or mute when he talks just read what he says

That's the beauty of watching a completed drama.

Sigh. I still haven't started. I am just curious. Does the male lead work? Like is he a genius lawyer or something?

Even the Captain in CLOY could be a good soldier and had some leadership skills. All you guys ever talk about is his crying. How do you get to be the senior lawyer if the senior shark keeps crying in every episode?

Thanks. I avoided this drama based on the synopsis however the reviews are good. The rating is not so good but who cares? I juat want a romance. I still haven't started this drama but am waiting for the ending.

I might still watch this drama just for the actors. The evil male lead seems to have people upset and it would be an effort not to fast forward his scenes.

Considering then fact I just went on a holiday and I just saw a pod of dolphins swimming. Yeah too much.

I am in Australia and yes I saw a seal swimming; well it popped up in the tidal pool where my kids were. Then the dolphins off the jetty.

Its like they watched a documentary but have never seen a live dolphin. Those were killer whale sized dolphins. Not cute dolphins.

Oh yeah that drama. I dropped it 2/3 along the way. I read the spoilers. I couldn't take it so didn't watch it. No way. I watch dramas for entertainment and I don't watch that sort of drama .

These parents. They literally killed off their descendants because they were greedy.

Wow. That was totally unexpected. I mean even more unexpected considering how this drama has been like. I am now more shocked than if I had watched a drama where people were dying left, right and centre.

Who even comes up with plots like that?

Ok can someone please tell me what happened to the Jiang family or Hua Rong please? I actually liked that romance and I really do not have time to watch from ep 34. Its the school holidays and I have to redo my cv for the job application. Man this is when real life is more important. I am extremely happy to see the wedding scene but the comments about Rong is making me crazy with curiosity.

Holy cow is that you all are so quiet. I just went to the streaming site and saw ep 40 but godammit its late and I don't have time to watch 7 episodes in one night.

I have 2 days to do a job application as well. Argh.

I saw the wedding photos. I just have to hold onto that. Guess I will stay away till I've finished.

Man it really just dropped all the episodes at once. How weird. Its only Thursday. I don't even have time to check Will love in spring. I've learnt my lesson and am not touching that drama till its completed.
