It was not in the book. No one can tell till we they show in the drama. FL's name is Yeli. The drama's name is…
The OP is confusing me.
YeLi said her mother died even before arriving at Lishan academy.
The academy was closed up and she is exacting revenge on behalf of the scholars. Where in the world did we get to the point where all the scholars and students are dead? The Imperial guards are still surrounding the academy.
Is this a mass murder conspiracy drama? Did I miss something?
Episodes are always late on Viki. On we tv we'll have the episode 8 but only if you get the express package. What…
Oh I know its late. However I couldn't work out if episodes 7 and 8 were released separately. I prefer viki only because its easier to fast forward and there is consistent video quality.
Is anyone keeping track of release times? Is it 1 release daily?
I have a viki subscription and prefer to watch it there. I have ep 8 available- according to MDL- at 1900hrs my timezone. I presume it will be on viki soon after.
What confused me is that ep 7-8 was supposed to be uploaded today but I could find ep 7 on streaming sites this morning.
Needless to say I am kinda addicted otherwise I would wait for it to be uploaded onto viki.
It involves feral monkeys. What's wrong with using CGI? I am sure you won't want a live monkeys scenes involving…
Lol. You have high standards then. I just watched it and moved on.
I can live with AI. In fact I wish they would use AI with the any riding scenes. Did you see them making the horses rear? Then any scene where I see horses fall.
The plot transition was quite clunky in episode 7. We have obviously moved to a new plot..
I hope the director does a better job switching any future storyline. The resolution from the previous was too simple. One doesn't just snap out of 8 years of depression
I finally found the episode release schedule. Why is there a crying pictogram on Sunday? The drama just started there shouldn't be any crying this early.
pardon the pun, but not a lot of meat to the show and it is almost over.
I don’t think this is like a Daesang- level drama. Its just an entertaining drama based on a webtoon. It is doing its job. Just like I like a good rom com ; I like a good fast flowing drama. This is like slice of life/fantasy/ office bonding type of drama. The directing is good. The actors can act. The props are done properly- someone had to have done the Officers Mess menu. The scene transition is good. The CGI isn't bad.
So yeah overall... for a Mon/ Tue light weekday drama that keeps me occupied with no cursing, some laughter, some sympathy; its doing its job.
Man the show is getting more interesting now that the dishes actually look like food.
The stakes are so much higher. I didn't anticipate so much machinations. I guess politics are politics anywhere.
By the way I did cook the persimmon tteokbokki last week. I am unsure how I feel about it. Would I go out of my way to look for persimmon pulp? No. However if I have overripe persimmon I guess I could cook it. It was actually hard to find an actual recipe as it was mostly persimmon powder seasoning. It did make the dish darker and glossy. It had more depth than just using corn syrup. Anyone still reading I did a 2 TBS gochupchang, 2TBS gochugaru and 1.5 TBS ganjang seasoning.
The puppy treat made me laugh because when my dogs are sick they did get proper food vs the dry food. I have a steam oven so they did get steamed jasmine and brown rice. Then diced pumpkin or sweet potato and oven top poached chicken breast meat. I didn't have a tiny dog, I had German Shepherds so it was a lot of rice. This was when the dogs were sick. Animals need more protein then vegetables so it was chicken breast meat rotated with beef or lamb. So there you go- the show wasn't that far off track.
Someone commented that sweet potatoes are toxic for dogs? Its raw sweet potato but not when its fully cooked. Dogs eat more protein anyway so the vegetable portions for a dog's meal isn't huge. When I feed my dogs a huge part of their meal was actually protein. Rice is because its easily digested by a dog's stomach. Our dog when it got older needed painkillers- so we had to go off dry food to cooked food twice a day.
Yes I do work and am not a stay at home mom. Its just that I can't stand bad food. My family eats quite well. I had chicken skewers and gado gado yesterday because I had a satay sauce craving. We had chicken and corn soup lately and spaghetti and meatballs.
Sorry... watching 2 back to back episodes has made me hungry. That greasy noodle dish with pork rind looks good on tv but there is no way I would cook it seeing it has pork rinds.
See you all next week. I am off to make some Japanese egg sandwich because I have the proper Shokupan bread.
I ended up sleeping at 2am because I watched ep 1-4 at once.
I had a low expectation coming in and the crazy shinip sawon has made me laugh so much. I do not like the arrogant, rude Chairman but was surprised he had some pronciples.
I know so many Korean shows where the bully the intern so having Kang Yong Ho open up the safe and just pulling money and gold bars just tickled my fancy. Its like Cinderella buying the fake Cindarellls's dream lifestyle.
The twins caught me by surprise. The are a self centred, unscrupulous, nasty couple.
Twitter has officially spoiled my Brain. WDYM Se Gye is taking about “HIS arm size namsan tower” and tells…
I just thought they meant that his apartment is close to Namsan and the implications were that he is rich. The others just have a dirty mind and I don't see any issues with your understanding of the subs.
I confessed that I read the comments and based on it only watched till the happy moments in ep 10 then the last 3 min of ep 10- omg. I will wait for ep 12 to air before resuming
So now I am stuck. There is nothing to watch. I have caught up on Kitchen Soldier. Then I have no Cdrama to watch as Ashes to crown is just terrible/ bad writing and directing.
Yes I know how to get to the airing calendar but even if I read the synopsis nothing catches my interest. Is there anything to catch currently? I was holding off on Dazzling as that bleached blond hair is not my thing however if you guys says the story is good I could potentially start it.
I only watched Perfect Crown till ep 11. I finished A splendid match. I just marathoned Filing for Love this week- that drama was excellent. I even went to rewatch bits of the Story of Park's Marriage Contract. I am about to start Reborn Rookie because I am kind of desperate because I have nothing to watch. What are you all watching please and do you recommend me starting your shows? Thanks.

Yeah viki is useful for multiple languages. I just keep up with my 500 subs every 6 months to keep my viki subscription.

Do I start?
I am currently or don't have any Chinese drama to watch except The First Jasmine.

Reborn Rookie is good.
What is the character's job that he needed to be blonde? Does he have a trendy dressing style then?

Cha Se Gye at the rooftop was just perfect. Its so rare that I see a guy literally show what it means " when the eyes are dripping with love."
Kdrama line. He was a goner. You can literally see him fall in love right there and now during the scene.
