The reason why I like this drama is that the secondary and supporting cast gets their own story. There are so many dramas where they focus on the main couple that much that they throw in stupid and idiotic cliches.

I would rather have a well rounded cast and a good romance in the midst of it. And I thank God the female lead can have her own storyline instead of being rescued continuously by the male lead. She has been on her own for over 2 months and YZ thinks she is just hopelessly waiting in the SAME town. I hope he keels over in shock to discover she has now been able to kill now without collapsing. Then he will keel over again at the Crown Princess fiance who has fallen for her. Hahahaha.

So yeah... totally ok they are having their own separate story and that the 4 followers are having their story. Bao- er and Changning are having their own arc as well. I don't see that much time with the 2nd couple. I keep expecting the Sui guy to die. I totally or I don't know who the actor is so am not swooning or falling for QM.

I don't understand how we don't even get bed scenes in Cdramas then we get 2 " scenes " that doesn’t even involve romance yet seems so risque by comparison.

I have seen blood and gore dramas before but even I don't see the wholesale " you know what " like those in ep 18.

I am wondering whether to praise or curse the writers. That's because they spend the time to flesh out even secondary characters. The 4 sidekick of hers? Seriously one of my favourite secondary characters ever. They are so memorable.

Until I remember what the writer did to the Xigu alley residents.

Yup. Back to rewatching The Best Thing. He plays a happy and calm characters. So soothing voice.

I have an early start tomorrow and NEED to see what happens tonight. Even though accidental spoilers down below states when exciting things are a- happening. I am going off to rewatch another ZLH drama.

The story keeps flowing. Don't bother checking for spoilers so just go for the entertainment. If you read spoilers it spoils the momentum.

I laughed so hard because she fell backwards but found hanging forward unconscious. Plus her only injury was hypothermia.

To put it in context because I just read the news of 2 hikers dying from hypothermia. Then a rescue chopper coast guard who fell after he was tangled in something while rescuing someone. He died by the way. RIP sir. Plus I actually need to know how someone fell including what happenedduring a fall and what did they hit...for work purposes.

So yeah... I was watching it after work yesterday and for some reason it was exceptionally funny to me.

I have no clue what you just wrote as I just watch dramas. Not gossip. She is ok. There are so many good actors in this drama that a single mediocre actress doesn’t bother me.

Qian is a nice character so I don’t really mind.

I've been a good fan and kept myself in the dark. The anticipation is great. I am really enjoying this drama.

Wow. I don't think I can last that long with the upcoming single episodes next week.

I like this drama. I like the main characters but I cannot wait till 30th March.

I have to keep going until the big reveal then try to hold off until the drama ends.

Why is it considered romantic or practical to have open doors and windows with snow scenes?

ONLY because she came into his orbit. She had a whole month of blind dates. He went on a business trip after the first date.

She was slightly attracted to him and because they were in physical proximity they reacted.

However if NO ONE initiates any more meeting after the 2D1N encounter.... those 2 would passively or could passively move on in their lives.

Unless he actually contacts her and arrange a 2nd date. The dinner was a family affair. It was in no way or form a date. The rain and church breakfast doesn't count.

They are nice people individually.

Of course being a Kdrama they will meet again. However I am counting couple chemistry and good writing to make me say its a great drama. If not its just another run of the mill romance drama.

I will probably finish this drama. Hopefully the director ignites a spark. The directing is fine. The timing is fine. The acting is great from everyone. The styling is fine.... its all up to the pacing and writing now to see if the story flows naturally.

I will really go off now. I need to start ep 1 of something radiance.

If that doesn't catch my interest have to go find a good book.

2ML has EQ. That does not mean he is flirty and plays around. I have seen some players in real life and if anything its her colleague who is a player.

I am off for the week since its a weekday but man I wonder if the FL would ever get spontaneously fun.

In that sense the 2 restrained personalities would drive me nuts in real life. No va- va- voom.

Sometimes the nice oblivious guy is alone in real life because they are too passive. They need a more assertive partner to pursue them but you have 2 passive characters. They are both nice but doesn’t 2 negative poles repel each other?

I am not supporting the 2ML. I am trying to see how the writer can sell the main romance.

This show is so lucky they have such experienced actors because the painfully awkward is made believable because of them.

They turned contrived situations and cliches into an episode I actually watch.

Crikey. They took a lot of trouble to produce the pigs and the bird. There is a massive difference in quality compared to an AI. Thanks.

Zhang Ling He is Zhang Ling He. Does he owe debts or something because he is working non- stop.

I like Yan Zheng. You know how male leads are male leads? They can be heroic, manly, a powerful fighter, a scholar or whatever. There are usually roles where they are protective or doing whatever male lead things they do?

I like Yan Zheng quietly observing. He doesn't show off, acts arrogant/ same thing as the previous description, pragmatic and quietly observant. He is just nice. Its rare that I find a " just a nice guy " male lead.

Then the bird. Now that has to be CGI right or AI anyway. However it's done really well.

Historical dramas abound everywhere. And every day. I am enjoying this drama because the story moves long but the its the little moments which shows what a good writing team there is. Its based on a novel but sometimes both the novel or the scriptwriters can be dumb. The comedy moments made me snicker. The 4 thugs were some of the more interesting sidekicks I've seen all year.

The other 2 guys are predictable. I actually don't know what's going on with the Wei Chancellor/ Prime Minister. I fast forwarded the court scenes and his scenes. Was there anything important?

Now I really wished I had waited till ep 40
