Aaaagggrrr... I just watched that scene 3 times today. She performed such an amazing act there. It brought me tears. I wonder if it's her real voice. This is my first drama by her, and I am already a big fan!

This is a very unique drama which is very hard to predict, right? Salute to screenwriter(s) of both real and inside this drama lol 😂

This is the very first drama it makes me going back to watch Ep1 over and over, because I want to make sure if I missed anything. And the plot/script keep twisting and twisting. But slowly changing for sure. Maybe bcoz screenwriter in modern life keeps rewriting the story......that's why he had to show up in the drama 😆

Aaaagggrrrrr.... real villain in this drama is 'screen writer'. He caused so much love and hate among us, 'Viewers' 😂 😝 😆 And he succeeded!

I totally agree. You cannot love others unless you love yourself first. He is profoundly honest while he talks. I am so glad he is who he is now through his good and bad experiences and his real life is enriched by these experiences.

Maybe you are right. Emperor was bit too much. Unfortunately some people took it very personally and showed too much hatred here. It's just a character, but oh well..... I think the director was right. We cannot be prejudice against something you cannot see through entirely. You need to look into it deeply.......

Hi friend. NH is kind hearted since childhood. It was unfortunate that his uncle made him ruthless momentarily. His kind side was LS. NH will never do anything to his father. I am glad his father finally see the true nature of his son 💕 So, I agree with you.

OMG, the director made 'One and only' !!! No wonder the jump scene with red outfit in Ep1 brought me back the memory of old drama 'One and only' that had exact the same scene 😂 with Bai Lu!

I hear you. Many write hated comments using harsh words including 'f' words here, but these comments are worse then FL character's action that is trying to save her and her family from being killed just like the original script. Hearing different theories were fun but now this comments section turning into typical haters world.

I am glad I found your comment here. Earlier episodes, this theory came out among viewers here that Emperor was trying to protect ML bcoz assassin was actually meant to kill ML. I also felt little strange when the eunuch tried to convince Emperor to imprecate ML's mom twice, but Emperor was dead quiet. He didn't agree to do so. However, recent episode showed Emperor's hate towards ML so bad and he also tried to take his army away. I felt we were wrong about Emperor. He simply hates ML bcoz his favorite wife died due to ML. I still kind of hope that Emperor is acting bad on purposely, but more episodes I watch, I feel I am wrong 😢

No worry I totally agreed with your original post. I come cross some good insights of many C-dramas here at MDL, but I see too many negatives recently, so I don't read comments often, however today I saw this, I just felt like writing to you ✌️ I watch mainly C- drama....haha

I watched The Old Guard 1 last night. It was a great action movie. Looking forward to watching 2 soon. Anyway, I kind of understand what you wrote. But I guess historical C-drama are many based on actual events, that's why they all come out something similar. Story of palace politics, wars, political marriage, wars among concubines and its backup, game of throne grabbing and so one. Therefore, these are the dramas currently popular among C-viewers, so it may continue as long as there are demands from its people.

BTW, I am a fan of C-drama, especially historical dramas. Bcoz they are something out of this modern world. I know many has flaws but I am so used to them 😂 If it's fiction, I recommend ' Three body' and ' Ripe Town'. These are very unique C-drama and entertaining. I don't know if they are Oscar worthy but I like them very much!
