Great start with fast speed. I think this was originally 40 eps and it was cut down to 36? I wonder if they had to shorten the binging of how she was saved by master. She was supposed to have a different identity as from other family, I think. Oh well, one thing I know is you cannot compare drama with novel. I need to enjoy this as dramatized novel .....I am happy how it started!

Same here. MDL has one of the best info about the dramas and it used to be such a great place to exchange opinions about dramas. But not anymore. Last couple years, it's so bad. Actually it's getting worse. So I decided not to subscribe membership even the annual cost is so cheap. It's very sad. I post comments occasionally but I mainly use for data collection. Hopefully it will change back it used to be.
This is a lot better than I expected. You can guess around the end of each murder that who is the culprit, however, the result is so ironic. I cried at Ep 11. The scrips are well written.

In S2, concubine sent by King N to ML was there a while, but she was dismissed earlier episode in S2, I think. I didn't like her, so I skipped some of the scenes π She wasn't that important to the story.

True, it took me 3-4 episodes to recap S1 π (S2 Ep1 did have recap but my mind was taken away by 'A dream within a dream' and I couldn't concentrate to this one much π)

Yes, it was still worth my time. The plot was good and romance were good. It was just not as good as S1. The reason was due to 6month break in between and the angst were not there π
It would have been better if it was made in 40 eps and just one season. S1 was such a great story, but due to the cut in two seasons and we had to wait for S2 to be aired half a year, I kind of lost the passion I felt during the S1. It was like someone throw me ice cold water at the end of S1. It took me 4-5 eps to bring back the atmosphere from S1.
Anyway, it was still good to watch this drama. Beautiful costume and hair-do, great chemistry of 2 main leads.
I am pretty sure he may make statement later since he did after Cnetz complained about FL's character (being cold to NH) during half episodes are done. I just don't like OE.... π

Hummmmmmm... after I read your comment, I rewatched Ep1 where group discussion was made with everyone at the table. When actor NF left room with his assistant ( I think she is Fugai π), NF stopped 2 sec and looked at SX's back and stared at her back2 sec. I wonder NF is actually NH and he already knew who SX was during the meeting. so NF=NH..... Ep1 NF and Ep40 NF both wore same sunglassesπ I am more confused π

I may agree with you. There is only ONE female lead SX, and NH/NF cannot exist in ONE demention so NF disappears from the makeup room, and NH is in modern world by going thru portal.....I think I can accept that π I wish director will explain his ending intention later π
